On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I attended WPI for engineering, and took courses in statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, etc., graduating BSCE with distinction, with an emphasis in environmental engineering. I have watched Mr. Richard Gage's compelling video How the Towers fell, and I believe after watching it that he is correct. Controlled demolition, an inside job. I was educated with a broad understanding of mechanical, chemical, electrical, and structural engineering fundamentals. I have a basic understanding of concrete, timber, and steel design.
I initially accepted the heating-theory when the WTC buildings collapsed because it sounded plausible at first glance and I didn't feel any compulsion to examine or think about it any further. However, upon seeing Loose Change, Fabled Enemies, and listening to the makers of those videos in person and listening to Richard Gage in person and referencing it to my background in structures and thermal dynamics, it became apparent to me that this was yet another fiasco/cover up ala Oklahoma City. I even manufactured my own refutations of the official version for the layman: 1. If you pour any flammable liquid on a flat surface (like a beam), what is the hottest point? Answer: it's at the tip of the flame NOT at the base so all that fuel spilling randomly around the buildings could not possibly have melted/softened so much steel mass from such an uncontrolled fire (just pour some alcohol on a cement floor, light it, then put your finger inside the flame near the floor and then at the tip of the flame and compare the temps). 2. Heat dissipates rapidly in 3-dimensions so couldn't possibly have the focused or confined temps necessary to melt steel, most of it would be carried away by air. 3. Steel itself also dissipates heat rapidly so any heating that occurred at the site of the fire would immediately spread throughout the steel frame disallowing any temperatures hot enough to melt steel anywhere other than the site of the fire if at all. 4. Note how it conventionally requires an acetylene torch using PURE oxygen at a FOCUSED point using only the TIP of the flame to melt even a SMALL area of steel - the WTC buildings had only AIR (not pure O2), had DIFFUSE heat, and over a LARGE random area - how could anyone think that was sufficient to cause failure of even one piece of steel let alone the ENTIRE steel structure ?!? 5. Jets and cars burn their fuel continuously within confined steel enclosures yet I have never heard of them melting due to this heat. 6. Even if a steel building could collapse due to heat, with a RANDOM fire heating solid structural steel RANDOMLY, I would expect a RANDOM failure leaving some columns collapsed, some columns twisted, some columns bending off to the side, and many columns still standing straight up in the air - NOT a TOTAL crumbling collapse into a nice neat footprint into the ground! Only a planned and focused demolition using explosives set at key structural locations throughout the building could cause this. The fact that you don't need any sophisticated theories or secret evidence to prove this, and the fact that you can simply use everyday logic and experiences along with mainstream media's own videos to expose the falsity of their own pet explanation for 9/11 makes this petition a slam dunk - assuming it is presented to a logical, ethical, and receptive audience (oh, oh).

I attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville where I majored in Civil & Environmental Engineering and received a BS degree in 1975 and MS in 1977. I worked primarily for environmental regulatory agencies of the State of Tennessee in the areas of coal mining regulation focusing on water impacts and solid and hazardous waste. I retired in 2013.
From everything I have read (and I have been interested in this from the beginning and have read quite a bit) I seriously doubt that the impact of the planes or fires resulting from the plane crashes caused the collapse of the towers. A diesel fire just doesn't burn hot enough and not nearly enough heat near the top would be transmitted to the bottom of the support columns to cause significant weakening. Even in the unlikely event that a weakening and collapse of part of the structure started near the top, the lower structure would most likely retain enough strength to resist a 'pancake' type collapse. And if one accepts that the structure could collapse under the weight of the upper levels, it would be a slow, uneven collapse, not the 'free fall' type collapse that occurred. Such an event would only result from explosive charges placed throughout the building as in a controlled demolition which this most certainly was. And the fine pulverization of the structures also points to use of massive amounts of explosives rather than a slow collapse.

It seems clear from the evidence that the 'official' version contains significantly erroneous information. The fuel load from the jets plus the fuel load from the building interiors was insufficient to result in melting of high strength structural steel. The building we impacted and damaged asymmetrically. The symmetrical collapse of both towers is improbable at the very least. Likewise, there is also no probable scenario for Building 7, given all evidence. The presence of chemical compounds indicating the presence of explosive materials used in demolition remains an unexplainable fact.

My suspicion regarding the official narrative of 9-11 commenced upon seeing the video televised of the planes impacting the Towers at the first airing of the news report. About 5 years later I began my personal research to seek out the truth and did a lot of internet research. Watching the videotapes, it was very obvious that Building 7 was a controlled demolition. Like many others (who still possess critical thinking skills and a capacity to question of the official story), I suspected that the Towers were brought down by well-placed incendiaries and perhaps even direct energy hits. Knowing how corrupt Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Powell, Rice, and their ilk were, I knew that anything they said was a pack of lies. This horrific crime against there own citizenry was proof positive for me that they were all a gang of vile globalists. Somewhere around the same time, I became aware of the Plan for a New America Century / Agenda 21 and their (NWO) plan for an economic reset initiated by the pernicious Patriot Act. Now we find ourselves in yet another globalist driven BIG LIE to further manipulate the people of America (and the world) and ultimately decimate our remaining rights and freedom. I pray this litigation proves successful and all the heinous crimes of government/the controlling elite regarding 9-11 are brought to full light and complete justice. I can see that those buildings did not balance on their structures. Something happened to them that caused the structure to be removed from within, and the buildings didn't topple over sideways. I worked in NYC during 2001. My girlfriend lived below Canal street. I saw the multitudes of New Yorkers begging for peace after the tragedy. From the beginning I found it incredulous that three buildings could come down within their footprints accidentally. It seemed to me too convenient, Add to that the relative lack of loss of life - If the collision happened in the afternoon, the amount of people impacted would have been significantly higher. Most workers weren't in the building yet. I had a strong feeling that if this were done by those really wanting to do the worst - the collision would have happened much later. It didn't feel right from the get go. When 9/11 was used to justify the 'war on terror' the metal discord grew. Too convenient.

I believe that in the light of the current political/economic situation of the world it is essential to discover the truths behind 9/11 which has been defining world policy in so many aspects since 2001. As a teacher it is my moral obligation to pass on truths to the pupils I teach and not any form of myth (created by whichever involved parties).
