PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The available Pentagon footage and photos are not consistent with the airplane impact footage of WTC. It is my opinion that the Pentagon was not hit by a large airplane.

The theory that the towers came down through office fires is not plausible and incoherent. It does not agree with our knowledge of steel structures. When a scientific theory is rejected by a substantial number of your colleagues, one cannot simply ignore this and pretend to go on as usual. Within the academic world, such an attitude is considered unscientific. Within our post-911 world this attitude is primarily seen as immoral. It is clear that the people want that we stop and account for what has happened. So far, they feel this has not been done. If this is the will of the people, then there ought to be a follow-up. It is indeed a decision between going on and stopping. It is truly a paradox. When we decide to go on as usual our future will come to a halt. Yet, when we stop now and provide an account, a new and certain future will open up that is based on their trust and confidence.

A rudimentary knowledge of physics and in particular Newton's laws of motion is all that is needed to realize that all three collapses could not have happened as we have been led to believe. It is simply not physically possible for a structure to collapse at near-free fall speed and, at the same time, pulverize all of its concrete and steel into tiny fragments; there is not sufficient energy available to achieve both results simultaneously. A collapse at near-free fall speed would require that there be absolutely no internal resistance within the structure to hinder its acceleration under gravity. Buildings such as these are designed for combinations of extreme loads that include earthquakes and hurricanes with a sizeable factor of safety thrown in. On a calm day, for buildings with lower than full occupancy, each of the WTC towers' strength capacity was quite likely five to six times higher than that required to support its actual applied loads. Each of the plane impacts were toward the tops of each of the Towers and, of course, the buildings get very considerably stronger toward the lower levels to support the loads applied from above. For this massively strong support structure to just crumble away at near-freefall speed would have required immense amounts of explosive energy; the 'collapses', quite simply, cannot have occurred any other way! There is no doubt that there were vast quantities of extra energy applied to the structures to achieve both rapid collapses and complete destruction of their components. This energy can realistically only have come from explosive charges. Anyone who views the videos can see that the Twin Towers exploded outward and upward during their collapse, quite simply impossible in a pure collapse scenario. The chances of the three buildings collapsing symmetrically into their own footprint, at near-free fall speed, by any other means than by controlled demolition, are so remote as to be beyond even consideration. 9/11 is an event that has changed world history and the lives of millions, mostly for the worst. I do not want to sit back and pretend it was one thing, when I know with 100% certainty it was something quite different. The greatest crime of all time must be subject to the best investigation of all time!

Three perfectly executed collapses of steel frame buildings in one day, something that has never happened before. The citizens of the United States, and especially the relatives of loved ones who were sacrificed on that day, deserve to know the truth. Continuing to be complicit in this coverup is to leave our design and construction standards suspect to not being able to protect the lives of anyone who enters a steel frame building. I was always uneasy about the WTC collapses, and the more I saw of the evidence, the less I liked the official explanation. As mentioned in my bio, I have worked with structural integrity and fire standards for rail vehicles, and although different in detail, they have significant fundamental similarities to architectural standards. The official report does no credit to the engineering community and is a slur on high rise designers who have had to justify why a plane could destroy a skyscraper, or a fire break out and make a building fall down. As the tragic events at the Grenfell Tower in London last year showed once again, high rise buildings do not fall down from fires. Grenfell was described as looking like 'a candle' yet still survives, but a 47 story building with some smouldering paper falls in on itself? The official explanations for the three WTC buildings are a joke and the engineering community needs to say enough is enough; it's time for the truth.

After reviewing the evidence from AE911TRUTH I don't believe the World Trade Center buildings collapsed due to fire as they collapsed at freefall speed, straight down in their own footprint. There was also building no 7 which wasn't even hit by plane that came down later that day also at freefall speed into it's own footprint. There is also evidence to support the possible use of explosives used in the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and building no 7. I support the demand for a truly independent investigation.

I am a retired elementary school teacher who heard Richard Gage speak at Berkeley's Unitarian Universalist Church many years ago.
About 3 weeks after 09/11/2001 I saw a video of the collapse of building 7 at the Humanist Hall in Oakland. There were many young men present who appeared to involved in different areas of construction work. When the collapse of building seven was shown a gasp went up and I heard many whispers of 'perfect demolition!' all throughout the room. Since then I have heard many accounts by various people, including Richard Gage, of what happened on 09/11/2001. Bonnie Faulkner's radio show 'Guns and Butter' covered the topic many times. I have watched several of the videos she offered during KPFA's fund raisers including videos by Richard Gage, David Ray Griffin, and Barbara Honegger, and attended the annual 9/11 film festivals at Oakland's Grand Lake Theater.

Multi-ton steel sections were ejected laterally, flying out from the building, not falling down as in a collapse. Concrete and metal was pulverized, it turned to a light colored dust. It didn't just fall down in huge pieces as in a collapse from fire. Tons of molten metal were found under all three Towers. These facts do not fit with a collapse from fire. We must have a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01

something is very suspicious about building 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how could it fall like buildings 1 and 2, yet no huge amount of jet fuel was responsible for weakening the floors, etc as they have explained about 1 and 2.we need a major investigation.

As a New York area resident, I have a friend who is a retired NYC firefighter. He worked at Ground Zero, and has a persistent cough. Many of his friends have died or are very sick. My son told me about concerns over the truth of the official version of events after he went to some rallies in Toronto while a student there. After many discussions, I promised him I would look into the matter with an open mind. The forensics about all the 9/11 events are compelling. We need a new, impartial, and well-funded investigation which considers all the evidence which the scientific community of AE911truth.org has found.

I have a Masters in teaching from Oregon, and have taught at the middle and high school levels. I have read widely on the official and unofficial accounts of that day, and though I have no firm beliefs, I find too many bizarre details unexplained by the official account. Another investigation therefore seems prudent.
It is my understanding that no building, before or since 9/11, has ever collapsed, and though planes crashing into them is also an anomaly, I have read nothing that adequately explains the collapse of building 7, the building used to coordinate disaster relief after the attacks. This building was hit with limited debris, and such occurrences have happened to other buildings, with nothing approaching the total collapse witnessed on this building. This unaccountable incident weakens the theory of the twin towers collapse due to structural collapse from super-heated melting of the support columns, already arguable due to insufficient heating from jet fuel. With others, i believe only a full, independent investigation will reveal what really happened on that day.

I studied education at Frankfurt/Main University and have been teacher at primary school since 1997.
The collapse of WTC7 can definitely not be explained by means of a simple fire. A fire can not burn down all the columns in the given time and can not even get hot enough to melt the iron/steel.
