PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Other work I have performed (coincidentally around the time of the9/11 attacks) used Ion Mobility Spectrometry (IMS) in a support role for the US Coast Guard R&D Center in Groton, CT ( a three hour drive from ground zero) in the determination of trace quantities (nanogram) of drugs and explosives. On 9/08/01 I was sent to USMC Camp LeJeune, NC, making any attempt to use our equipment immediately following the collapse impossible.
The video footage of the three WTC buildings, as well as the Pentagon and Flight 93 wreckage, offers clear evidence that does not appear to have factored greatly into the official story, especially WTC building 7. The lack of significant analytical forensic evidence in the 9/11 commission report leads me to believe that it was inadequate, and a new, congressionally appointed committee should be established.

I know some first responders personally, the things they've described seeing with their own eyes aren't possible with jet fuel being the only heat source. You would have as much success melting steel with ice cubes as you would with jet fuel. Then it becomes a question of who do you trust, the first responders who gave and continue to give their lives, or the CIA etc.

I find it impossible that two buildings of that magnitude would collapse within hours of each other after small (relative to the size of the buildings) airplanes crashed into the upper thirds of the buildings. The planes would have been shredded trying to penetrate the steel exoskeleton and, if there had been a jet fuel fire, it would not have done enough damage to collapse the whole building at near free-fall speeds. WTC 7 is the smoking gun... how the heck does a building suddenly collapse many hours after the first two came down due to 'office fires'. It was a steel frame building. It would take a lot more than a standard office fire to bring it down. The way it fell is suspect as well. It looks exactly like a controlled implosion.

I worked at Merrill Lynch during 9/11. I personally witnessed molten metal pouring from the buildings prior to their collapse. I also heard explosions before and during the collapse of towers 1 and 2. I can also state that the fires took weeks to put out and were still burning underground. Approximately 1 week after the disaster, I had wanted to go to an office location near the 9/11 site. A colleague of mine said I could not go their because firefighters were still putting the fires out. I was incredulous that the fires were still burning such a long time (1 week or more) after the towers came down. From what I saw, the initial fires looked like they were going out when the initial collapse started. I gave a 47 minute interview to Truth Action Ottawa with the full details of my experience on 9/11. I knew something was wrong with the official story regarding 9/11 from the moment that 9/11 happened. Nothing that was stated by official US government sources could explain the molten metal that I saw. I had been troubled by that clear evidence for many years until I saw the paper written by Steven Jones and heard about his research. As a witness to 9/11, I can state that the evidence of molten metal presented by Steven Jones was visually observed by me. In fact, I was aware of the existence of molten metal at the 9/11 site long before Steven Jones paper was published. I am certain that this fact alone is sufficient reason to re-investigate 9/11. I have not ever been asked to testify or provide my evidence to anyone investigating 9/11. I would be willing to if ever officially requested.

I saw a seeming credible video from BBC news reporting it's collapse prior to the actual free fall in it's print, of what appeared, to even me a layman, to be a controlled demolition. I could go on & on with other points, proving it all doesn't add up. I also wonder if it's true that certain people affiliated and/or related to Osama Bin Laden were flown out of our country directly afterward, when there was a no fly order for the rest of US? As American citizens, we know we have the right to get to the bottom of this. We expect truth & justice will prevail.

I have watched several buildings be demolished on video and they looked identical to the way the Towers fell. I am a concerned sovereign citizen of the United States of America. I would like to know more about what happened that day and I think the families of those people who died that day need to have someone tell them the truth about what happened.
I have many questions about 9/11 and the events that happened that day. How did Building 7, which was not struck by a plane, fall in 6 seconds completely to the ground? How did a huge plane hit the Pentagon and leave such a small hole in the building? How could hijackers with box cutters get on to a plane, then hijack a plane, then get through some of the most air defensed space in the world, slam it into a building and then have their passports fall all the way to the ground intact? How could 2 of the most well built sky scrapers in the world fall completely to the ground from jet fuel alone when that has never happened before? Why were major political figures told not to fly that day? Why did the President say he saw a plane hit the first Building when there was no video of it until days later? How could there still be huge pockets of burning metal 6 weeks after the Buildings fell and all of the concrete be pulverized into tiny particles? How come so many of the rescue workers have gotten sick after 9/11? How come so many people who were there say they heard secondary explosions before the buildings fell? These are just a few of the many questions I have.

From careful consideration of evidence concerning the collapse of WTC 1, 2 and 7, it is clear that the government narrative is not only improbable, but impossible. A full and open inquiry needs to occur in order to perform the scientific and police work that should have been conducted immediately after the events of 9/11. I went underground from the draft in 1973 when I was in pre law at Western Michigan University. My girlfriend (later wife) and I wound up underground at Arlee, Montana on the Flathead Indian Reservation. We started a farm from scratch and raised strawberries for ten years. I felt called to teaching and completed a teaching degree at the University of Montana in Missoula. After graduating I moved to Seattle where I taught 3rd grade in the Horizon program for gifted children for Seattle Public Schools and was one of 8 lead technology teachers for the district. The first time I saw the video was on September 13, 2001. I had been on a photography expedition to a remote part of Utah where I couldn't even get radio. I recognized controlled demolition the first time I saw the video and I kept waiting for the commentators to try to get to the bottom of what was obvious to me immediately. I am still waiting, nearly 17 years later. Only two days after the events of 9/11/2001 there was already a total blackout of looking for the truth on the corporate media.

As I am not scientifically schooled, I cannot take part in the scientific debate in any significant way. However, it does not mean that I'm not able to use logic and critical thinking when information is presented to me. The procedures and investigations that followed the 9/11 event are disheartening, unscientific and would make more then one raise an eyebrow. Nowhere has the scientific method been used correctly. ANY academic would agree that it's of crucial importance to have independent research. As such, I completely support any new investigation, as long as it's intellectually fair and unbiased. There are way too many questions that are left unanswered or not taken seriously when in fact they should be! The fact that government agencies are doing their best to halt or slow down any new procedure looks very suspicious to me. In fact, it should be every government's task to support the victims and do their best answer all these questions.

It's was something tragic!People losing friends, family and an entire country losing it's ground! A nation of fear had started ever since and against the whole world an unjustifiable war became justifiable and started. More people died while others got even more rich! I do not have any technical education or experience to report here. I do, however, have common sense and believe the video of the collapse of the building looks exactly like videos I have seen of controlled demolition of buildings. It is our right as Americans to have independent experts examine the evidence and share it with the public.
I believe we, the people, have a right to demand a proper, independent investigation of the collapse of the World Trade Center buildings. We have to be sure this never happens again. It is proper for engineers to review all circumstances of any type of structural collapse so the cause can be determined and solutions found so it doesn't happen again.

After seeing footage, over and over again, of the towers and Building 7 falling, it does not look like uncontrolled collapses. It is so similar to falling buildings in controlled detonations. I do not think the cause of the destruction was thoroughly investigated, nor was the public fully informed about the incident. I think information has been withheld from the general public, and this is troubling to me.

I am a 33 year old concerned citizen of the United States. I am a certified English teacher for grades 7-12. I currently reside in Wisconsin. I am also a mother of 2 children and am currently on a leave of absence from teaching so that I can stay home with my precious infant daughter.
A more thorough investigation of the WTC collapse needs to be investigated. From what I've read of Mr. Gage's research, a lot of questions remain to be answered. I do not care to speculate as to who might be involved, but the evidence gathered from ground zero does not add up to the official statement from our government as to why the towers collapsed-- especially tower 7 which was never struck by an airplane.

I never believed all the destruction was caused by two planes. It never made any sense to me. How this was handled and what the government has done since 9/11 leads me to believe the official story less and less. I can not understand why there are so many facts dismissed. Why? For who's gain? I have been a professional educator and theatre artist for over 40 years. Among my skills, I have studied design and construction both for theatre and residential housing.
I worked in WTC1 for 4 years, on the night shift as a word processing operator. We often had bomb threats and had to evacuate. At that time, in the 1980s, the buildings had over 80,000 people working there every day. At the time of 9/11, the real estate had become a white elephant, and no longer made a profit, which is why it was so comparatively empty.

The evidence is overwhelming that the collapse of the WTC towers could not have resulted solely from the terrorist attack. A new investigation must be initiated to determine what actually happened to cause the smooth collapse of these skyscrapers into their own footprint.
