On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I believe this is evidence of a failed plan to bring down the buildings simultaneously with the plane attack. 7) Picture of a bright red explosion immediately before the collapse of WTC 1. 8) Pictures of WTC buildings with gaping holes in them where you would expect a mountain of debris in two different videos. 8 minutes 1 second into In Memorial video narrated by Rudy Guliani and 1 minute 10 seconds into video shown at 2008 Republican National Convention. The building 7 collapse was obviously a controlled demolition. There was no direct plane crash, and a diesel building fire somehow caused a perfect demolition internal collapse. This was no accident, and to me, completely discredits the official report, and must be investigated and scientifically explained. I would like a release of any and all evidence related to 9/11, so the public can decide. There are many unanswered questions in my mind. How come raw materials from the demolished building are hidden away in warehouses, and not publicly available? Let independent auditors test metal from the wreckage for nano-thermite. Why is there no open scientific scrutiny and study? Why is the public prevented from seeing an analyzing the evidence? Why were air force pilots kept occupied training for the exact scenario (hijacking exercise) the day of the attacks? (air traffic controller saying is this real world, or an exercise). Where are the black boxes? Security footage tapes? Release the pentagon footage - all of it (there must be some hi-res footage not publicly released), showing the crash, to refute claims it was a cruise missile / inside job, and confirm it was a plane. Explain the Pennsylvania crash - why are there no large plane parts? Explain how black boxes can fail to survive all crashes. These are designed to survive, and yet *all* 4 vanished? This isn't possible. If it were, then there are serious problems with black-box design and a national redesign should be in force. Again, science to overcome this exact scenario (crashes) somehow failed? This contradicts the official report, and must be explained. Explain how diesel can melt steel. Modern material science is advanced enough to show jet fuel can't melt steel (1400 degree jet fuel fires can't melt steel at almost 2800 degrees), so how *did* it melt? Refute nano-thermite questions with evidence. Again, why does science contradict the official report? If it is eventually determined nano-thermite was actually used (contrary to the official findings), then go further, and identify who could have done such a thing? On such a massive scale? Undetected? Open up video security footage from inside the buildings to help identify the individuals involved, expose street camera footage to allow vehicles in/out to be identified so we can understand who could have done this and how they pulled it off. Motive and opportunity. Who stood to profit from 9/11? Follow the money trail. This hasn't received enough investigative attention. The whole affair smells of a cover-up. Too much contradiction with science, too many (easily answered) unanswered questions. If there is nothing to hide, why is all the evidence hidden away in private? All of these issues and many more need serious investigation, openly, by the public, which can only happen with access to the evidence in question. Currently there are too many secrets, too much evidence held in secret, preventing people from analyzing the evidence openly, drawing their own conclusions, and thus determining their own truth. Let's make the evidence public, so people can find truth, get closure, and move on once and for all.

I lived in Manhattan below 14th street for 20 years and was very familiar with WTC and its environs. I watched the towers' destruction from my rooftop terrace 1.5 miles away in Greenwich Village. With my somewhat advanced generalist knowledge of construction and physics, I simply cannot accept the official explanation. Those towers were designed to stand hundreds of years, and it simply beggars belief that they fell down in the manner observed as a result of the airliner crashes and the resulting destruction and fires. The likelihood of this outcome is vanishingly small. There must be a simpler explanation - that the towers were demolished. It's the only answer that makes sense.

It's been 13 years since 9/11 and the thoughts of that day had fleeted to nearly none. That is, until I got some free time and decided to watch a documentary called 9-11: In Plane Site. It sparked my curiosity and caused me to revisit the memories I have of the horrible time in our history on the the day of 9-11 and the weeks, months, and years which followed. Then I realized, I never really questioned what happened. I simply went with the story given to us by our government. Since that realization, I've tried to dig for info, watch as many documentaries as possible, and follow the brilliant James Corbett, whose research, interviews, and overall take on the events surrounding 9-11 are impressive and convincing to say the least. I want to know the truth, and I want to hear it from the people who were in charge of protecting our country and failed by either incompetence or (more likely) staging the attack themselves.
It seems clear, upon revisiting the footage of Towers 1, 2, and lesser known 7, that either the greatest coincidence in the history of humanity happened by all of the falling at free fall speed and on top of themselves by virtue of fires, or there was some carefully planned and precisely executed demolition of all three structures. Furthermore, the fact that there was molten steel present in the buildings before the collapse, and indeed days and weeks following the buildings' collapses, suggests the use of extremely powerful and volatile explosives which quite possibly caused the collapses of the buildings.

I have extensive experience in metal working. I understand the kind of energy that is required to melt metal and keep it liquid. Furthermore I understand the amount of strength achieved by welding. I also understand how basic physics work from years of sports activities.
Unless the joints of the steel armature of the building were not attached to each other by bolts or welds and the building was hollow and without anything inside of it, the building could not fall at the speed of gravity. You really don't need to be a scientist to see these facts. This is applied knowledge from 10th grade physics. Its very difficult for me to understand why the scientific method has not been used to examine the collapse of the world trade center buildings.

After graduating from Chelmsford High School in 2005 I went on to college and have not finished yet but have only 2 credits I must obtain to get my Associates Degree. I am currently a Youth Development Professional for AmeriCorps in the Teen Center at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua.
Those buildings were built to be hit by a plane so if God forbid a plane ever did hit one of them, the fire department could knock the fire out with a couple hoses and they can begin to rebuild.....but that isn't what happened. An aluminum plane with jet fuel melted 'steel reinforced concrete' in a matter of minutes which is physically impossible unless you have something to help with the melting like nano-thermite or what we all know as C-4. Explosions were heard and can be seen all throughout various footage of that day.

I watched the news coverage all day and into the night on 9/11 from the beginning of the reports of the North tower being hit. Recently, I watched a news video from 9/11 which led to watching many more, which led to my signing your petition. Though the image of the South tower exploding is etched in my mind from nearly 13 years ago, I did not realize the profound effect of the events that unfolded that day. Obsessed I watched video after video; some news reports, some conspiracy theory oriented, some scientific based, some independent video's shot on 9/11. In spite of all the videos that I watched what affected me the most was watching the towers fall. I had a profound understanding that what I had SEEN on 9/11 had been overwhelmed by horror, shock and fear. I realized I had seen the towers explode, I remembered the moment that it began in the South tower and how I simply couldn't believe that the tower had disintegrated before my eyes. I think it only takes seeing those videos again for anyone to understand today what happened on 9/11 more clearly. It was a process for me that took a few days to accept. First the sadness of the event flooded back, then came feelings of betrayal and anger, then came feelings of wanting to escape from this truth, and finally acceptance and a desire to support revealing the facts of the events on 9/11. With the official explanations lacking evidence and the worldwide political manipulations which has led to wide-spread loss of life and suffering both here and abroad it is our duty to our country and the world to reveal the truth.

Thanks to the internet, today, everybody can see how those Towers went down, free fall! And Building 7 went down, free fall, that one without even being hit by a plane! How this can happen is no magic. There had to be demolition work being done and then we hear, the owner of the Towers say to the New York fire department, 'pull it'. It's just too much. How can the two highest towers of New York go down like that, at free fall, absolutely defying the laws of physics and then have the whole country say nothing? It's called 'mass control' through 'fear'... absolutely evil. Should be restored to reality. The truth HAS to come out. I am so proud to be counted as an advocate for this. I am a high school history teacher with over twenty years of classroom experience. I graduated second in my class from the University of Vermont and accumulated the necessary credits for a masters plus 15 credits in History. We should not accept an official story that defies science and reason. When architects, engineers, scientists, and pilots produce evidence that calls into question the official story then we must listen. Recognizing that jet fuel cannot melt or weaken steel is not subject to belief: it is a fact validated by the scientific process. Buildings that tumble at a near free-fall speeds and expert and eyewitness testimony that reveals that explosives were present, then it is irrational not to question a story that ignores the evidence. In the end we must be people of science and reason. We must let the evidence lead us to the truth.

Quite frankly nothing in the media report event rang true in the light of the incredible way the buildings came down. I love the TV program 'AirCrash Investigation' and I have seen enough planes crash to know they break up (being a hollow cylinder) on impact with a solid immovable object e.g. a building, and all my reading and viewing since that time has served to convince me that the 9/11 atrocity was exactly that; an act perpetrated on the American people by their own government (and I understand their reluctance to acknowledge that) which has been followed by further false flag events eg Sandy Hook shooting which the media has also reported as fact despite all the evidence to the contrary.

Graduated near the top of my class from one of Canada's most prestigious boarding schools. Went on to university but did not complete my degree as my interests lay outside a formal academic setting. It is blatantly obvious that the official story, as reported by the 9/11 Commission, is a complete fabrication. As someone who has stood on the roof of the WTC and experienced the enormity of those buildings, it is inconceivable to me that these towers simply collapsed. As someone who has watched (many times over) the disintegration of those buildings, I am unable to reconcile what I have observed with the official story (which also requires suspension of belief in the laws of physics). And don't get me started on the Pentagon...

As witnesses have said, they heard explosions in the building before the planes hit the Towers. It's also too much of a coincidence that the Towers were powered down the weekend before this action. This investigation needs to be reopened and the government needs to be held responsible.

My education experience is irrelevant. I work with my hands growing food therefore Mother Nature has provided me with what I need to know. I teach all ages music and reading English, German, French, and Spanish. I teach now because what I was ''taught'' in public school was how to be prejudiced and fearful. I am a licensed social science teacher with a masters in secondary education. I hold 2 undergraduate degrees in political science and history. I have taught and tutored students for many years in and out of school. As a history teacher, who hopes history is being presented truthfully and meaningfully, I was very concerned about the 'lies' that surrounded the 9/11 event in our text books and in our media. I have been concerned about how the government treated the 9/11 investigations (by NIST and FEMA) and how the government used this event as a justification for wars and domestic espionage.Finding 'truth' in historical research is very important, especially when it concerns a monumental event (9/11) that is used as a pretext for wars and domestic espionage and erosions of our civil liberties.
Like most American observers, I believed the official story of 9/11 despite hearing some rumors that claimed otherwise. However, in 2006 I saw an educated speaker claiming that certain things seemed 'odd' that day on 9/11. I spoke to a friend about 9/11, and he told me that it may have been (among other things) an 'insurance scam' to benefit the WTC buildings' lease owner and was probably perpetrated by 'insiders'. I did more research and found out that many scientists and credible witnesses claimed the 9/11 official story was not scientifically possible. Just using 'common sense' of physics and math, and finding out about the melting point of steel, I was convinced that the towers could not have fallen in that (near free-fall 'into its own footprint') manner due to just the force of the planes and their resulting fires.I read articles about the insurance deal that greatly benefited the lease owner (a possible 'motive' and/or 'damage-control' among other things).I could not believe that our government-led investigations could not come up with sound scientific explanations for these collapses (particularly about Building 7). Therefore, I believed that this investigation had to be part of a government conspiracy to 'conceal the truth,' detract from those possibly responsible, and lay blame to forces and/or agents that were not possible, but desirable for political/economic motives. The (unscientific) official story gave 'credibility' to the government's accusations that Al-Qaeda was responsible and therefore foreign wars and a heightened 'security police state' would need to be implemented to respond to these 'enemies'. This 'new order' was possibly an attempt to advance key officials' (and/or their patrons') political and/or economic objectives.

I agree with your position on the need of an independent investigation to be able to contest the conspiracy theory forwarded by the Cheney-Bush administration, the shadow government, and the corporate media, among other power factors. However, just as the Warren Commission twisted, concealed, and manufactured facts to adjust them to their'lone nut'theory, more than 50yrs later, we still have to wait until 2029 to understand the scope of the cover-up.
