To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

A note here: All these hotels and pubs are unique and very special here in the PNW.
I watched the 911 event on television. Although I didn't see the first airplane strike the first tower, I did watch the second plane strike the second tower and then all the other events at the Pentagon. I wasn't aware of Bldg. 7 until later. At the time, I couldn't believe what I saw, and knowing what I know about steel building structures and airplane airframes and skins, I knew that the building shredded the plane like French fries and as to the weight of the plane, I knew that that would not be a problem. So when the building came down I was speechless. I think I said, 'No, that can't happen', but it did. When I became aware of Building 7, I joined this group of A & E''s. Building 7 came down in a controlled demolishing fashion, it was so obvious. I have been watching Richard Gage's efforts and research ever since. Most of my piers don't want to get involved and I don't understand that, other than it is high stress and they already exist in a high stress industry. High stress such as this event s not healthy, most just want to move on. I understand that but continue to send letters to my Senators to review information on 911 Truth's web page. Did it last week stressing the research and data collected on Building 7 in an effort to get NIST to do the right thing.

I initially accepted the heating-theory when the WTC buildings collapsed because it sounded plausible at first glance and I didn't feel any compulsion to examine or think about it any further. However, upon seeing Loose Change, Fabled Enemies, and listening to the makers of those videos in person and listening to Richard Gage in person and referencing it to my background in structures and thermal dynamics, it became apparent to me that this was yet another fiasco/cover up ala Oklahoma City. I even manufactured my own refutations of the official version for the layman: 1. If you pour any flammable liquid on a flat surface (like a beam), what is the hottest point? Answer: it's at the tip of the flame NOT at the base so all that fuel spilling randomly around the buildings could not possibly have melted/softened so much steel mass from such an uncontrolled fire (just pour some alcohol on a cement floor, light it, then put your finger inside the flame near the floor and then at the tip of the flame and compare the temps). 2. Heat dissipates rapidly in 3-dimensions so couldn't possibly have the focused or confined temps necessary to melt steel, most of it would be carried away by air. 3. Steel itself also dissipates heat rapidly so any heating that occurred at the site of the fire would immediately spread throughout the steel frame disallowing any temperatures hot enough to melt steel anywhere other than the site of the fire if at all. 4. Note how it conventionally requires an acetylene torch using PURE oxygen at a FOCUSED point using only the TIP of the flame to melt even a SMALL area of steel - the WTC buildings had only AIR (not pure O2), had DIFFUSE heat, and over a LARGE random area - how could anyone think that was sufficient to cause failure of even one piece of steel let alone the ENTIRE steel structure ?!? 5. Jets and cars burn their fuel continuously within confined steel enclosures yet I have never heard of them melting due to this heat. 6. Even if a steel building could collapse due to heat, with a RANDOM fire heating solid structural steel RANDOMLY, I would expect a RANDOM failure leaving some columns collapsed, some columns twisted, some columns bending off to the side, and many columns still standing straight up in the air - NOT a TOTAL crumbling collapse into a nice neat footprint into the ground! Only a planned and focused demolition using explosives set at key structural locations throughout the building could cause this. The fact that you don't need any sophisticated theories or secret evidence to prove this, and the fact that you can simply use everyday logic and experiences along with mainstream media's own videos to expose the falsity of their own pet explanation for 9/11 makes this petition a slam dunk - assuming it is presented to a logical, ethical, and receptive audience (oh, oh).

I encourage everyone to read the numerous books, technical reports and papers about the WTC; look closely at the photographs and videos; listen to the speakers with an open mind. Decide for yourself, and take a stand for what you believe. As a structural engineer I believe in the laws of physics and rely on them every day. - - - - After much reading and studying it is obvious that NIST, FEMA and the 9/11 Commission have all fallen short of a detailed accounting of the catastrophic collapses of the three World Trade Center buildings in Manhattan on 9/11/01. A few examples of unexplained details include the severe high temperature corrosion attack on the steel as described in Appendix C of the FEMA Building Performance Study, the complete symmetrical collapses following asymmetric structural damage and short-term fires, and the chemical signature of incendiary compounds found in the toxic WTC dust. - - - - I would really like to know why complete collapse of the twin towers became inevitable as expressed by NIST without any scientific analysis to substantiate it. Why would all 110 stories drop straight down to the ground in about 10 seconds, pulverizing most of the contents into dust and ash - twice? Why would WTC 7 fall straight down to the ground in about seven seconds the same day? It was not struck by any aircraft or engulfed in any fire. An independent investigation is justified - and necessary - for all three collapses.

Was in my classroom that day. My class was first told due to the parents picking them up. I was able to see it because my school, PS 84, 250 Berry St., Brooklyn, NJ was 2 blocks from the East River. I use the Holland Tunnel and downtown everyday as I traveled from Bayonne to Brooklyn. It was clearly evident watching the towers come down that it was not caused by jets hitting them, as the video clearly showed them coming down in exactly the same way that urban buildings are imploded, from the bottom to reduce surrounding damage. I am a professional performing artist and music educator. I was born in Brooklyn, NY, raised in Queens, NY and educated in New York City and Long Island schools. I attended the High School of Music and Art in NYC and earned my degree in Music Education from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. I have been a performing artist all my life and a music teacher since 1975. I moved to New England in 1979. I was a music educator in the Massachusetts public schools for ten years and taught private music lessons all the other years. I still have many close friends and relatives in the NYC area.
I don't believe the official story. I watched the Towers fall on television on that fateful day. My first comment to myself after I saw the Towers collapse was ''We have met the enemy and he is us!'' I didn't believe we were unable to stop those planes before they hit the Towers back then and I still don't believe it today. It all stinks to high heaven.

I was an elementary teacher for over 25 years. I am very interested in many activities all my life, instilling in my own children their responsibilities to their environment and carrying that into my classrooms. I have been active in many organizations from teachers organizations to Sierra Club, Community Concerts, church positions et al. I had a mother very active in the League of Women Voters and she was my mentor in pushing for strongly felt political issues. My eldest daughter has taken up the charge. Ours are issues of environment, voters rights, world health, and pushing for freedoms and truth. I try to make my opinions seen. I am not actively involved in personalities, just my passion felt issues.
I have always had an issue concerning Building 7. WHY? HOW did that ever happen? That blew my mind. It made no sense at all to me. Yes, I had physics in college (loved the class) but in my educational background there was no explanation that explained the unexplainable. And nobody really gave me that answer. That has bothered me. And no 'expert' has given me an answer I could accept. The two towers blew like the demolition companies use when called in to remove an old building - they implode - why and how did the towers, when hit high on each, did they implode, not typically what is expected?

It is physically and scientifically implausible and impossible for the planes and fire to take down the twin towers. The speed of descent, concise nature of the demolition and the heat generated at the ground level all point to multiple explosives being used. The construction of the elevator shafts and the perimeter beams with the reinforcing steel bands on every floor make it impossible for the fires to bring down any of the buildings. Building 7 evidently was part of the coverup. There is no other reason to bring down an untouched building.

On September 11, 2001, while feeding my 6-month old first born son in his highchair, and watching Good Morning America, the WTC saga unfolded on the screen. From that point forward, my sons' entire lives thus far have included 'war on terrorism' which is really a war on their Constitutional Rights and their future in this country. Within 4 hours I was very aware that there was more going on inside those buildings, which I have visited myself, than planes crashing into them. I saw WTC7 fall and heard 'We decided to pull it'. Immediate thought: What demolition expert could have possibly even PLANNED THAT in that amount of time, much less obtained the explosives, crew, placement of the devices and wires, and taken it down all in 6 HOURS? The immediate removal of all the debris with ZERO investigators poking through it was even more suspicious in light of the fact that commercial airliners that crash are treated like crime scenes where even microscopic evidence is gathered!

In 2006, I heard a broadcast with Art Bell interviewing John Lear. John's father invented the Lear Jet and John had learned to fly hundreds of different types of aircraft during his 40+ year career. He said; 'The planes hitting the Trade Towers on 9/11 was an areal feat', that he, himself, could not have done it and that it would have taken hundreds of focused hours on a flight simulator that these hijackers would not have had access to. That got me thinking.
