PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I believe the official story defies my experience. Based on my years of structural experience, and after my study of videos of the collapse of the twin towers and building 7, I believe the events of September 11, 2001 could not have occurred as stated. From videos of the collapse of building 7, the penthouse drops first prior to the collapse, and it can be noted that windows, in a vertical line, near the location of first interior column line are blown out , and reveal smoke from those explosions. This occurs in a vertical line in symmetrical fashion an equal distance in toward the center of the building from each end. When compared to controlled demolitions, one can see the similarities.

The presence of molten iron weeks after the building collapses is absolutely damning to the official story. The ubiquitous spheroid/ellipsoid particles of iron (not steel) in the dust is compelling evidence of the use of thermite incendiaries. The collapse of WTC 1&2 is not simply gravitational - there are outward explosions with forces and energies that could not be generated by a simple gravitational collapse. The building collapses serve as close models for volcanic eruptions with the pyroclastic plumes which are outward and slightly upward in some of the trajectories and the molten material. Much attention has been placed on whether jet fuel can burn at high enough temp to weaken the steel. However, an important consideration is whether the burning of the expected amount of jet fuel would even have enough energy after combustion to bring the steel columns to the temperatures to weaken the steel. One 9/11 Researcher did such a calculation that I think is worthy of more notice or scrutiny. He assumed that the burning of the jet fuel to be confined within a single floor and that there would be no heat transfer outside of that floor; he further assumed that the jet fuel was burned with maximum efficiency in air to produce the greatest amount of heat. He then made estimates for the mass of steel, cement, product gases, etc that would be within that single floor. Each assumption tended to err on the side of producing the maximum temp increase so the amount of steel and concrete might were somewhat underestimated and their respective heat capacities were assumed to be constant w.r.t temp although heat capacity tends to increase at higher temp. These are, of course, all outrageous assumptions, particularly the idea that there will be no heat transfer during this time, especially no heat conduction vertically along the column beyond the single floor (one out of over 100). Even with these extreme assumptions there is still not enough heat released to increase the temperature of the contents of the single floor to a temperature to weaken the steel. While the maximum temperature at which jet fuel burns is a valid point, I find this argument to be more compelling. My last comment is that I feel personal shame for not heeding the truth movement sooner. It is difficult for a normal person to entertain the possibility that our government would do such a thing. The issue really is not the amount of evidence or how compelling it is. The issue for the average person is whether he can begin to consider this as a possibility and how much the person is willing to examine the wealth of information available.

To be honest, I was one of the millions of people who got sucked into believing that a aircraft-fuel-laden airplane would make a hot enough fire to melt steel. It was only not so long ago when it was brought to my attention that no fire on this earth (or even beyond) would make a structure such as the WTC crumble upon its own foundations when the fire is only at the top. Those buildings were loaded with explosives at their foundations. I'm no expert but, in my humble opinion, that's the only way a building of such size can fall down upon itself with such precision without taking out nearby buildings in the process.

I am 59 years old, a high school teacher, studied literature and philosophy, although I've had a big interest in architecture. My father told me as a teenager that architecture is not a good choice for a small girl. Later on I was two times almost starting to study architecture, but never did. I have a very good eye for statics and space planning.
A friend phoned me the moment cnn sent out after the crash of the first airplane into the North Tower. I watched it immediately, then saw the second plane crashing into the second tower. Watched it all, shocked. How could a second plane crash in there too? But all questions were overshadowed by the immense tragedy. Then - out of the blue - the South tower started to collapse, starting from the highest floor. And finally the North tower collapsed in the same way. This was completely against all physical laws. It made no sense. The airplanes couldn't do that. I am not an engineer, but immediately I knew, there is no reasonable explanation to make me believe that two small planes (in comparison to the buildings), flying in on different floors and different angles of those huge and large buildings, could be the cause of those completely structured collapses.

No other skyscraper has ever collapsed due to an airplane impact or fire. Furthermore, these buildings did not 'collapse', they disappeared into dust. The BBC's broadcast of the 'collapse' of Building 7, while it was clearly visible behind the reporter speaks to the foreknowledge of the imminent 'collapse'. The 'road runner' hole shown in the side of the tower is ridiculous. An airplane is not made of materials that can penetrate steel. The whole thing was absurd theatre, although fascinating, it was definitely not an attack by foreign 'terrorists'.

Evidence for CD is overwhelming and damning, even without another financed investigation. Molten metal and iron-rich spheres, lack of resistance in all three collapses, and Silverstein's own statements on WTC 7 alone demonstrate irreconcilable inconsistency in the official story as well as prove the CD model based on the laws of deduction. Independent investigation should still be performed, however.

From the moment I saw it happening I was sure that it was a controlled demolition simply as the lower building portion forms that path of greatest resistance and would spill the falling rubble to the side. I was teaching 2nd grade on 9/11. I was unaware of what was happening until I entered school. Many of the teachers were in a classroom watching TV, I went in and asked what was going on, someone just pointed to the tv. As I turned to watch, the second plane crashed into the 2nd tower! I was shocked! Tears came to my eyes. I couldn't believe this was happening. I stood there staring at the tv and listening to what was going on... about 15 min later students started arriving to school and we were needed in our classrooms. All I could think about is how am I going to 'teach' my students now? It was about 2 years later that I first heard people questioning how 9/11 really happened. First it was the Pentagon, there was no evidence of a plane crashing into it. Then I heard that people thought our government actually caused it... no way I thought would that happen in America! It wasn't until today, 5/25/2015 that I have started watching '9/11: Ten Years of Deception', Part 1 & 2 (2015). I will watch more tomorrow... but I have been asking myself, so what can I do to get the truth out to the people of America? That is what led me to this petition. I can now see clearly how explosions caused the collapse of the towers. But, now how do we/you find out who is behind this? My Dad always said... 'follow the money' I also am one to believe that these days you also need to follow the (oil). I believe that too many wars have been fought because (we) want control of the oil!

After watching the video of the W7 building collapse and other video evidence and listening to the official explanation for the destruction of the building I have come to the conclusion that, in good faith and with a clear conscience I cannot accept the NIST report, because it just goes against common sense and even a basic understanding of the laws of physics. Besides, their direct admission not to have investigated any other possibility for the catastrophic total collapse of the building in itself is a sad demonstration that the outcame of their study has been forced to be what it is, even when their own 3D model doesn't even correspond to the events and contraddicts their own conclusions.

WTC7 was not hit by a plane but astonishingly collapsed in the manner of controlled demolition, and the NIST report was unsatisfactory, deeply flawed in methodology and conclusions. A new, genuinely independent investigation is required.

I watched the towers fall on TV from my school classroom, with 3 other teachers. I saw the airplanes hit the towers, and when the towers fell i knew immediately that no airplane could cause this. Subsequently, on viewing the towers in slow motion, it became clear to me that the towers had been blown to dust, and that no official story could explain this.
