PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The statements by witnesses, particularly trained observers and emergency responders, on the films investigating the WTC buildings collapses, as well as the Pentagon attack on the same day, and the lack of required, necessary, and appropriate investigative protocol for preservation of forensic evidence and failures in the application of proper procedures by governmental agencies and professional societies reveal much more than just common incompetence on the part of the government-appointed, so-called investigative professionals. Too many questions went unanswered, and too much evidence has been excluded, to consider the investigation of this disaster to be complete. I consider myself a reasonable person, and as a reasonable person I doubt the official story in it's entirety based on facts presented by AE911Truth and others.

I have collaborated with a research chemical engineer( P.E. in CA also) and he has worked with NIST reports that positively show that the jet fuel contributed very little to the duration of the fires and that in fact all the fires were very weak in historical perspective. They were oxygen starved as evidenced by the black smoke. If you dig deeper into the NIST reports they confirm that steel temperatures were low. I presented for continuing education credits at the NFPA World Safety Conference in Boston, MA 6/4/2007 My presentation showed that all three WTC collapses have no resemblance to any previous high rise fire, full scale fire tests in the UK involving much higher steel temperatures, or computer simulations using finite element analysis.

Although educated in Arkansas, I learned some critical thinking skills by watching and listening to alternative news sources, especially after 9/11. I knew for certain that the official story of 9/11 was BS after hearing David Ray Griffin on C-SPAN, then reading his first book about it.. The collapse of the Towers always gave me an uneasy feeling that there was something very suspicious about it, but most people seemed to accept that it was not that unusual after buildings had been hit by planes. When I heard Mr. Griffin on C-SPAN, I knew instantly that he was right about the collapses--it was the first time I had heard anything that made sense about that day.

The fall never made sense to me. I know a lot about concrete and steel with respect to building failure, and though I have read the arguments for natural collapse and wanted to believe them, my own sense of logic denied me. I read up on the design of Minoru Yamasaki's building (I had once visited his office in Michigan) and I cannot understand how even the heat of jet fuel would have caused the floors to slide the way they did, or so perfectly vertically. Also, I have seen a lot of buildings demolished in Detroit, enough to raise suspicion.

There is overwhelming evidence by experts firemen engineers structural engineers the general public films etc that show this was not a plane demolition. "I did not realize anything was wrong until I simulated the ""pancake"" collapse of WTC1 and WTC2 floor collapse under the assumption of zero structural support, but conservation of momentum as the floors piled upon each other. (A simple Excel spreadsheet). This resulted in a collapse time of ~15 seconds. Clearly, when any given floor reached what had been the floor below it, the latter was already gone. So there had to have been a controlled demolition. After this realization, I studied all the material that was available."
