On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville where I majored in Civil & Environmental Engineering and received a BS degree in 1975 and MS in 1977. I worked primarily for environmental regulatory agencies of the State of Tennessee in the areas of coal mining regulation focusing on water impacts and solid and hazardous waste. I retired in 2013.
From everything I have read (and I have been interested in this from the beginning and have read quite a bit) I seriously doubt that the impact of the planes or fires resulting from the plane crashes caused the collapse of the towers. A diesel fire just doesn't burn hot enough and not nearly enough heat near the top would be transmitted to the bottom of the support columns to cause significant weakening. Even in the unlikely event that a weakening and collapse of part of the structure started near the top, the lower structure would most likely retain enough strength to resist a 'pancake' type collapse. And if one accepts that the structure could collapse under the weight of the upper levels, it would be a slow, uneven collapse, not the 'free fall' type collapse that occurred. Such an event would only result from explosive charges placed throughout the building as in a controlled demolition which this most certainly was. And the fine pulverization of the structures also points to use of massive amounts of explosives rather than a slow collapse.

As a small child I witnessed the collapse of a non-combustible manufacturing building after the steel structure was subjected to extreme heat from a raging fire for hours. The pile of rubble left by the twisted, melted structure was more than half as tall as when the structure stood when in tact. - - - - I have also witnessed the planned implosion of four or more high-rise buildings. - - - - I believe it is very possible that there was much more to the demise of Towers 1 and 2 than just the impact of jets and the power of the fuel they contained. Reasons for the collapse of Tower 7 has remained to me unsatisfactorily explained in the media coverage for the events of 9-11-01. - - - - I am deeply concerned that scientific calculations, debris material sampling and analysis have not been given a fair platform in which the causes of the three Trade Center building collapses on 9-11-01 would be clarified and given fair media and grounds for understanding and justice.

I worked on The Twin Towers as a welder for Otis Elevator in 1970-71. The elevators ran inside the core columns and if someone wanted to plant explosives on those columns, all they had to do was ride on top of the elevator car and do their dirty work from there. As a welder I applied plenty of heat to those columns and I know that kerosene would not cause any damage at all. There was too much mass in the steel.
I worked for Otis Elevator for 3.5 years including a year from 1970-1971 working and welding on 'The Twin Towers'. So when I think of the core columns in those buildings and how massive those columns were, I have great difficulty buying the story of how jet fuel could weaken that steel to the point of collapse. Anyway, that fuel burned on impact and wasn't a factor. The general public doesn't realize that in those buildings that the core columns were 'terraced' and in a natural collapse, there would have been more resistance on the way down. The symmetrical collapse at free fall speed was impossible under normal conditions.

My concern with the explanation of the towers falling from plane impact, which caused the fires, acting as a catalyst for the collapse, is that they had built the towers to withstand a hit from a plane almost exactly like the ones which were used. The other thing that I had came to believe was falsified about that day was Tower 7, specifically, falling for no apparent reason.

My first recognition something was not quite right was shortly after the second plane hit the South Tower. The TV switched to a classroom (in Florida, I think) where someone entered and told George Bush about the attack. Bush continued to listen to the students and after a few minutes got up to leave. As he left the classroom a reporter asked him a question. His answer was 'when I saw the first plane hit....'. How could he have seen the first plane hit unless he had access to some closed circuit TV that was focused on the North Tower. As I recall there is still only one picture of the plane hitting the North Tower and that didn't surface until several days later - it was taken by French firefighters who happened to be in NYC. That interview is still available.In '9/11 Revealed - The Unanswered Questions' (Morgan and Henshall), bottom of page 65: There is a picture with the following caption, 'In the midst of the impact crater in the North Tower, where 10,000 gallons of fuel have recently ignited and a furious blaze is supposed to be eroding the entire structure, a woman stands tragically staring ....down at the world below.' She has long hair and is wearing a dark sweater and light pants. Behind her all is dark, obviously no raging fire. I've watched both towers fall many times, and they did appear to pancake straight down - a demolition expert's dream. Just before WTC7 came down, some one was heard(and this too is available on tape) to say 'pull it' - another demolition term. The explosions.......???There are way too many unanswered questions. I've been following A&E's activities for several years. I think you're on the right track.

With all the evidence I have been able to research on my own, there seems to be much doubt on the government story of events of 9/11. In any court of law, guilt is based on whether or not there is doubt. Criminal law says 'guilty beyond a reasonable doubt' and civil law says 'at least 51% favorable/unfavorable'. I look at this 'case' as a trial. Is there sufficient evidence proving the government's story or is there too much doubt? I say there's too much doubt and DEMAND a new investigation with full transparency! It is my right as a citizen to know!

I was raised on a barrier island off the coast of Georgia, accesible only by boat, and approximately the same size of Manhattan. I am trained as an urban environmental planner with a Master in City Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology. I am currently leading the Lifelong Communities Initiative for the Atlanta Regional Commission Aging and Health Resources Division. I have lived and worked in Copenhagen, Denmark, New York City, Miami, Florida, Savannah and Atlanta, Georgia. The work I do now involves identifying and securing funds for transportation options for people with disabilities and older adults who can no longer drive. In researching why it is that we spend BILLIONS on private contractors for 'security', never ending wars and the military but are told that the National Transportation Trust fund has dried up so to bad if people who need to go to dialysis but can't get a ride are walking up to five miles, seniors don't have enough to eat, we only spend 1% on education in this country, what the heck are we doing scraping pennies off the ground to make a difference in the Atlanta region. So I began to do my own research, and so many things I was finding about our tax dollars, where our money is going, who is really 'in charge' or in control of our country, led to oil, the military and the NSA, CIA,Bush, Cheney and 9/11.
I always knew that Building 7 was a controlled demolition. That was known the minute it started to fall. What I was not sure of is how the North and South Towers fell. After doing my own research and hearing from experts and the testimonials from workers on the bottom level or in the basements of the buildings, there is no doubt that these buildings were blown up and the planes alone did not cause them to fall. Additionally, I believe that the plane supposedly that crashed in Shanksville was blown up by a missile, by the white military looking plane that residents said they saw that morning, flying around their community. I also believe that the Pentegon was hit by a missile. There is no way a 747 hit the building and left a round whole half the width of the plane. Shocking and upsetting as it is, I believe our own military, CIA, political leaders such as Bush, Cheney and Rumsfield, and Rice, knew about this and were involved in big and small ways in the mastermining of 9/11. I am ready for those who will not believe that their own 'government', i.e. those with the world's money who are in control of us, would or could do this. Citizens of this country need to wake up and take back ownership of their own rights; the right to know the truth, freedom of information act, and freedom to question authority and put on trial our own leaders. It is time to bring the people who did this, some of our own people, to justice.

The 9/11 attacks were well known by intelligence agencies of the U.S. Federal government. There was overwhelming evidence of this. With that said, the U.S. government allowed 9/11 to happen so we could invade Afghanistan and start opium production back up. Indeed, there were plans to invade Afghanistan put on the president's desk before 9/11 took place. Of course there are many other reasons a group of elites would let this all go down, such as taking away civil liberties of common people who many elite see as inferior. War is inhumane and corrupt. It should always be the very last option, and even then should only be used for defense, not aggression. I'm 82 years old, a retired member of Radical Women, have an AA degree and many years independent research into social, historical and anthropological studies.
These towers and Bldg 7, as well as the Pentagon, were not destroyed by Airplanes crashing into them. From what I saw at the time the twin towers were hit there was a missile on the underside of the second plane that went through the building into the river. Not much evidence of an airplane hitting the Pentagon was found, nor were parts nor black boxes found at some sites. Also as the buildings came down there were explosions just on the floors below with flashes of explosions and puffs of smoke preceding the actual collapse. Debris cast outward as well.

Anyone with basic entry level high school physics education after seeing videos of WTC Bldgs. 1, 2 and 7 will know without any doubt that those buildings could only have come down in the time period that they did via professional controlled demolition.

All the video evidence points to a controlled demolition of all 3 world trade center towers but the official investigation would not investigate appropriate to the evidence of controlled demolition. NIST did not perform a thorough investigation in keeping with the mandate from congress to investigate the cause of the towers collapse. The investigation must be re-opened.

After many hours of watching video and listening to video I cannot accept the explanation set forth by our government that the buildings fell at free-fall without assistance. Why was the evidence carried away without forensics? What were the noted explosions and spews of sparks from the Towers as they fell? How is it that the fire was not fueled to attain sufficient temperature to melt structural steel? With all that weight falling from such great height, am I to believe that all three buildings fell within their own footprint? What about the lack of ability of the new owner to insure due to asbestos. What about the convenient loss of records housed in WTC 7 to prosecute the Enron. What about the head of security that died in WTC7 that was at odds with someone in Washington.

The official findings regarding the cause of the collapse of WTC 1, 2, and 7 do not stand up to scrutiny. It is imperative that an independent body, with subpoena power, be constituted to examine all of the evidence -- including the potential use of high explosives -- to determine the true causes of this heinous crime against democracy.
