PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I felt indignation when I first heard that people were questioning the official version of 9-11 events. It took several years for it to filter through to me that building 7 fell at free fall speeds 7+ hours after the towers. I've perused the NIST report dated 2008. I do understand the elaborate chain of events described therein and they sound very unlikely. I've heard some expert testimony questioning many of the premises and details NIST used to construct their report. I'm convinced the NIST report is unsatisfactory and that we owe it to the victims, their families and to ourselves to continue investigating. The bad guys are still out there. Their monumental arrogance and sociopathic mentality will continue to surface if we don't.

My primary function in the military was to coordinate and oversee large scale operations, coordinating and organizing enormous quantities of personnel and complex equipment required to carry out diverse and wide ranging tactical objectives. I also worked as a Command Assessment Inspector/Evaluator, in this capacity I was required to evaluate all aspects of military bases and individual command departments to identify in command performance, or any violation or deviance from established procedures. I have also been trained and worked as a military police section leader (Equivalent to a civilian Lieutenant). I make no attempt to identify or otherwise present any personal conclusions as to what may have actually caused the collapse of the World Trade Center buildings, nor do I endeavor speculate as to what have induced individuals to participate or contribute to the events of 9/11. I do sincerely believe that there is adequate evidence, and reasonable doubt is present to justify an independent investigation of the manner in which these buildings failed and lapsed to the ground.

Here is my synopsis of the situation: 1. The 3 World Trade Center buildings that collapsed were designed to withstand commercial jet impact and the subsequent fire. Unless the design margins were compromised, they should not have collapsed. 2. If the design margins were compromised, and they were reason for the collapse, the buildings would still not have collapsed in the extremely controlled fashion that was observed. Thus, design margin does not appear to be the cause of the collapses. 3. In searching for a plausible cause, the evidence first pointed to explosives. Evidence of explosions was provided by the numerous people that reported hearing them, by the evidence of high velocity radial trajectories of debris, and by the degree to which the debris field was pulverized. 4. The evidence then pointed to demolition-class explosives. Evidence of demolition-class explosives was provided by people seeing molten steel in a fire that should have been at least 1000 F below steel's melting point, by the debris field being permeated by bb-sized steel-based spheres that shouldn't have been 'vaporized', by the presence of elements unique to a demolition-class explosive in the debris field, and by the fact that all 3 buildings 'free fell' to the ground as if their infrastructure had suddenly disappeared (as is typical of demolition). 5. The evidence finally pointed to the use of military-grade demolition-class explosives. 6. If the conclusions from this evidence prove true, and to date they have not been refuted, the group of people responsible for the destruction of the WTC buildings remain at large, and the threat that destroyed the WTC buildings remains. 7. Unfortunately, the official root cause report does not account for the use of explosives at all. 8. For the United States to hold its own in a rough world, the reality of the situation must be irrefutably determined, and appropriate corrective actions taken. The current official report may be right, incompetent, or a cover-up. If the current official report does not withstand challenge, and the demolition claim stands, corrective actions must be taken against the people responsible, as well as the people that authored the root cause report, either for incompetence or for a willful cover-up. To do otherwise is to encourage a repeat performance.

The official explanation that 'somebody' installed a tank of fuel in an office building fail to explain how the collapse would be possible - a fuel tank may cause fire etc. but not a collapse.

I am a mechanical engineer with 28 years of engineering experience. I have approximately 20 years of experience in the nuclear power industry. I was involved with the development of the corrective actions department for Cooper Nuclear Station. I had extensive training in root cause investigations. I was involved in numerous investigations to determine failure mechanisms and contributing factors.
I performed a simple energy analysis that can be performed by anyone who has taken high school physics or mathematics. The calculation shows WTC 1 & 2 did not contain sufficient potential energy to cause a progressive gravitational collapse. My calculation takes the entire mass of the building and distributes it evenly on every floor. This is overly conservative since the mass per floor is greater at the bottom because of the heavier structural columns. I also did not deduct any mass for any material that fell outside of the building footprint. Only material falling within the footprint of the building could have caused damage to a lower portion of the building. The energy of material that damaged surrounding buildings was not available to damage lower portions of the WTC 1 or 2. The energy calculation was based on the building material releasing its potential energy (the only energy available for destruction) by falling all the way down to ground level. The pulverized concrete released its energy very slowly as it drifted to the ground and was not available to destroy any building structure below it. - - My calculation shows that if all of the potential energy contained within the Tower was transferred to all of the surface area of all of the Tower floors, they would only be subject to 1,200 ft-lb/sq-in. Hardly enough to pulverize all the concrete let alone destroy all the structural steel columns and supports. This is why structural steel buildings do not simply fall due to gravity alone. Additional energy had to be involved to cause the destruction that was observed. Controlled demolition is the only possible explanation. The laws of nature cannot be violated. - - The WTC 7 free fall also violates the laws of nature.

I witnessed, first hand, the lack of horizontal fire suppression (vertical risers were installed) and the sub standard building life safety conditions that were allowed by the NYS Port Authority. These defficiencies may not have contributed the collapse but might have saved many lives had they been installed. There are many unanswered questions that need to be researched and reported. Even though it may not be easy to see at first glance, it becomes quite obvious that the official story we have been told by the mainstream media about the nature of the collapses is a lie, once you look behind the curtain of mainstream media reports. ae911truth comprehensibly summarizes pretty much all scientific aspects of the truth, so I just want to focus on a few specific features of the collapses. There are major indications why all 3 buildings - the 2 trade centers and building 7 - could not have collapsed the way we were told by the official sources: - Unresisted, near free fall speed of all three buildings - Symmetric nature of all collapses - Pulverization of almost the entire building with a complete disintegration of the inner steel core structure Many trustworthy sources indicate that it is highly questionable if the fires had the capacity at all to weaken the central steel structure in the affected sections of the buildings. Let us still assume that the claim of the fires to have weakened the steel structure around the fires, which initiated the collapse, is correct and that a pancaking of the floors occurred as a result. For the following reasons this theory cannot explain the above mentioned characteristics: - The lower structures of the building, with the strong steel core in the middle, were entirely intact and should have generated SOME KIND of resistance for the falling upper sections. This would have resulted in a significant and measurable delay during the collapse. Yet, free fall speed is only possible if the entire supporting structure is simultaneously destructed. - The structure of the WTCs was such that the different floors were mounted between the outer wall mesh and the steel core. A pancaking of floors would not only have been much slower than free fall speed, but would have resulted in a partially remaining steel core structure, which very likely would have leaned to one side eventually and tilt, rather than simply disint

I have long held doubts in private about the collapse of the World Trade Center Towers since I first witnessed it on TV in '01. I was given Mr. Gage's video by a friend and was relieved that I'm not the only professional who feels this way. In my profession, everything you do is calculated to the Nth degree. Everything is precise. Everything is over-engineered for future expansion and controlled for safety. I have built many installations that have met UL, C-UL, CSA, CE, and NFPA standards. Many things I have built have been inspected by federal, state, and local governments. I am very doubtful that the collapse of building 7 was accidental. I have held the belief from day one that the World Trade Center buildings did not implode because of the impact of an airplane. I had watched movies of the remarkable construction of the buildings prior to the attack of 911. To say that the collapse of the towers was due to internal structural failure is a slap in the face of every individual who designed, built, inspected, and approved these structures. That includes federal, state, and local approving bodies. This also includes all standard policy bodies such as UL and NFPA. If I worked for one of these agencies, I would be worried about a law suit.

Only recently have I begun to examine the structural collapse of the buildings. My first doubts about the official story began when I read the heavily documented The War on Freedom by Nafeez Massadaq Ahmed, listing all the public records of warnings to the US government. I was especially alarmed by the fact that standard operating procedure to dispatch fighter planes against a high-jacked plane had been violated. The technical evidence presented since then certainly warrants a full and honest investigation. I know several people in NYC were trying to initiate a suit to open such an investigation in the spring of '07, but have heard no more about their effort.

I've done extensive research online, and of videos, and have concluded that at the very least, building #7 was 100% a controlled demolition. Although there are literally hundreds of discrepancies, and unexplained things surrounding 9/11, I consider the collapse of building #7, and the fact that Controlled Demolition (the Company) was hired for site clean-up to be an unexplainable coincidence. The fact that we spent much less than the investigation of Flight 800 is also questionable. The destruction of the crime scene evidence is inexcusable. I did not witness any raging infernos that the media claims existed on 9/11.

One does not need to be an engineer to understand that contradictions cannot exist. If the pancake theory is true then we should sure have seen some pancakes, not pulverized concrete and neatly severed sections of steel. Further, buildings such as WTC 7 do not spontaneously collapse from being hit by debris or from fire. The fact that public officials intentionally destroyed most of the evidence is, itself, as in any crime, a suggestion of guilt or complicity in the crime.

This background in math and physics of motion have allowed me to do some technical inquiries into the dynamics of collapse of the WTC. We must perform publicly and with peer review an extensive analysis of the WTC collapse. The official explanation stops at the onset of collapse. To even explain the start of the collapse without explosives requires some far fetched ideas. There are lots of energy analyses to do that I have not seen done. How can multi-ton steel beams be ejected with enough force to embed themselves in buildings far away? What explains the symetry of the collapse? Uncontrolled phenomenon are seldom symetrical.

Received MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University of Istanbul. Received PhD degree from Brown University in metallurgy. After a short stint in academia, I worked for the Turkish Technical and Scientific Research Institute. I did research on explosively forming welded truncated-cone steel preforms into hemispheres. Materials subjected to very high strain rates behave similarly to highly plastic materials and can change form (deform) without developing external stress cracks. There is a photo that was taken of some 9/11-damaged steel structures where a very big cross section heavy beam has been bent into almost a 180 degree U-shape without developing any cracks on the tension side of the bend. This could not happen under the weight of the building forcing the lower sections to break up into pieces. It proves that a chemical or physical high energy source was in operation at the time the buildings were destroyed (not collapsed.) No amount of static force big enough to bend the heavy beam into a 'U' can produce this effect without creating multitudinous cracks on the tension side. This can only be done by a 'high energy rate forming' mechanism and by either a chemical or physical energy source with a large enough capacity. - - More recently, I was involved in design and production of castings and forgings in industry, and production plant management until retirement.
I am convinced beyond any shadow of doubt that:1- NORAD could not have been rendered helpless by anyone or any organization but persons in or close to the U.S. government. 2- The two towers could not have come down in near-free fall speed if explosives were not scientifically planted and distributed throughout the structures and sequentially exploded through computer control. Explosions occurred ahead of the advancing debris so that the near-free fall speed can be achieved.3- The 9/11 wars and war on terror were pre-planned and executed according to these plans. The WTC skyscrapers were obviously destroyed by a high energy producing material such as nanothermite, which was somehow placed in the buildings. There is no mechanism known to humans, other than explosives, that can destroy buildings of that size at free fall speeds while converting all the concrete and other office materials into a thick cloud of dust. It is futile to argue whether x number of columns were cut by the planes or Y amount. Even if the upper portions of both buildings were totally severed from the bottom portions and the top was allowed to fall onto the bottom, and even if all the bolts/pins holding the metal skeleton of the bottom portion together were in an un-tightened condition, the destruction of the bottom portion of the buildings by the effect of the top portion could never have been accomplished within the time necessary for a free fall. The fact that the buildings were destroyed at free fall speeds is the greatest evidence that the buildings were purposely destroyed by well placed explosives. No passenger plane hit the pentagon.

The evidence proves that 9/11 was not performed by merely 19 hijackers. The evidence proves that there is no way that ANYONE could have used cell phones to call people from those planes. The calls just would not have been successful. The plane is acting like a faraday shield and would prevent the signals from reaching the towers, especially with the plane over 4,000 ft and traveling over 200 MPH. The evidence also shows that there was thermite/thermate used in the destruction of the WTC's. The complete and utter destruction is not possible by a natural collapse, and it is not possible to destroy the lower columns completely as they become thicker and stronger the lower you go in the building. It's like a tree, it's bigger at the bottom to provide better support.

In 2006 I became aware of the unprecedented collapse of WTC Building 7 and the Twin Towers at free-fall speed. Professor Steven Jones' video lecture was a stunning revelation and a wake-up call. My experience and further research confirmed the uncomfortable facts as presented by Professor Jones. I also found it disturbing that most politicians seem to have little interest in exploring any theory other than the official jetliners / fires-caused-the-collapses theory. I was told the following in a response letter from one of our representatives in Washington: Regarding conspiracy theories surrounding the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the Pentagon and the World Trade Center, a number of theories questioning the events that occurred on and before September 11, 2001 have circulated. They are patently false. Several videos have been posted on the internet on this subject, and they too are false.... The 9/11 Commission, a bipartisan group of nationally respected individuals, evaluated all relevant testimony and documents related to the events and provided a detailed account of what actually happened on that fateful morning. However, this nationally respected 9/11 Commission failed to include some very important facts and testimonies in their report even though they had to have been aware of them. For example, the 9/11 Commission Report completely omitted the unprecedented collapse of Building 7. Many of the facts and theories that engineers have learned in such courses as structures, physics, chemistry, metallurgy, etc., have held true for longer than the hundred-year history of structural-steel-framed high-rise buildings and they held true on 9/11/01. Only controlled demolition could have provided the types of building collapses displayed three times on that fateful day.

Despite early claims about fire induced collapse of WTC 1 & 2, evidence suggests that the collapse of the three WTC buildings was due to controlled demolition. WTC 7 was particularly suspect in this regard, as it had never been struck by an aircraft. Pyroclastic-like clouds, symmetrical collapse, and molten steel are all indications of a controlled demolition, and all are seen at each WTC site.
