On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The fact that the information is coming from degreed and licensed professionals in the Architecural and Structural Engineering community provides a level of credibility that will hopefully propel the issue into the public spotlight. I was skeptical until I recently read about the nano-thermite particles independently found in the WTC dust remnants. Coupled with the facts: that NIST did not test for thermite or explosives; NIST avoids the thermite discussion; and the pancaking collapse of the 3 buildings that looks exactly like a controlled Las Vegas style hotel demolition; denial seems impossible. NIST officials should be indicted.

Having watched the 'attack' on live television at 4:30 in the afternoon in central Europe, what was shown to the rest of the world leaves it clear in my mind why a distaste for Americans has developed the world over. My main fear about 9/11 is the amount of secrecy that enveloped 'ground zero.' By not allowing independent investigators access to the site seems awfully convenient. Another 'convenience' occurred when building 7, holding valuable CIA and DoD information, collapsed as neatly as the Twin Towers without having been directly damaged. The ever-growing list of questions concerning the events that September morning MUST be investigated if we are to accept the fate of a war justified by such an act.

I was at the WTC in 2004 during cleanup operations. I was given access to the bottom level of the site and was present when debris from a huge pile was being sifted for remains. I took two large chunks of concrete (one had burn marks on it) and donated it to the Mississippi State University (MSU) library. When I returned to Mississippi, I related my visit to the WTC site to my students in a course I taught entitled Forensic Engineering at MSU.

I am a claims officer and I deal with predominantly personal injury claims. I understand how claims are made as well as having family members who have worked as claims loss adjusters on behalf of insurance companies in the building claims sector here in the UK.
After reviewing countless pieces of evidence and reading the official 9/11 Commission Report, I am not convinced that the Twin Towers and WTC 7 were brought down by jet planes and office fires. There needs to be a full inquiry as to how these buildings collapsed at near free fall speed, even at the risk of finding out that the official version is incorrect and the repercussions which it may entail. The truth is likely to be uncomfortable, but American citizens and the world population need to know.

It has clearly NOT been addressed scientifically so far. Why did WTC Tower No. 7 come down is maybe the biggest of the (engineering related) mysteries of that dreadful September 11, 2001. This alone should make it obvious that this tragedy needs to be further investigated, and that the public be presented proper proof for the events, something which I believe is not the case so far.

I'd always thought it was strange how the twin towers came down. I even fought with friends and girlfriends about it but they assured me that the government's version was the gospel so to speak. Then, at some point after the 5 year anniversary in 2006 I saw the film Loose Change with all of its coverage of the wtc 7 collapse and became completely convinced that something was very wrong with the official narrative. There's no going back now. With the unreacted thermitic material in the dust, I now know what the truth is. The truth however has not been entirely blissful.

Are we REALLY to swallow another magic bullet theory from the government? The facts of the 911 commission report and its 'findings' should be an indication that 'something is not right'. The report by its own rules omit any dissenting views and does not address WTC7. There is too much evidence that we can see with our own eyes that these building were brought down let alone the science of the iron findings (thermite), eye witness accounts of explosions BEFORE the impacts as well as the historical significance that the first time in history a steel structure falls due to fire - times 3 on one day. Wake up your friends. We must be open to new information at all times even if it threatens our current belief systems and hence our identities....challenging ones belief system usually results in insults and apprehension, for being wrong is erroneously associated with failure. In fact to be proven wrong should be celebrated, for it is elevating someone to a new level of understanding thus furthering awareness.

I have studied many videos of the events of 9/11 and read countless statements from witnesses to the event. I truly beleive that there was a controlled demolition of the Twin Towers as well as Building No. 7 as evidencede in several video close-ups that depict puffs of dust exploding in succession descending the towers just prior to the collapse. The additional demolition of Building No. 7 was too coincidental, considering that it housed the FBI investigation team that was hot on the trail of Bin Laden and his followers in America but also that I understand it also held the vaults holding gold bullion worth billions. All evidence was erased in this collapse. It is also curious as to why the head of the Bin Laden/Al Quaida invetigation resigned and was given the job of head of security at the Twin Towers only weeks before they were destroyed. I truly beleive there is much more to this story and that there was a conspiracy at the highest levels of government and business at the expense of so many lives. Please conduct a truly independant investigation of the events of 9/11.

There is something going on that mainstream does not know much about. I often look to the group of women that lost their husbands on that day. The group that has hired an intense amount of lawyers and are standing by, waiting, they have refused to sign anything, take any money, or agree with the last findings. They know something. As a former Fulbright Scholar and current fiction and screenwriter, I value fair and honest evaluation as well as looking at all angles of an issue. Research is essential, and history goes not merely to the victors, but to those who speak up.
An independent study is needed to explore every idea. I believe that two many unknowns and irregular responses exist and must be looked into.

The evidence for some kind of engineered explosion in all three towers seems strong enough to merit a new full investigation taking into account the new thermite findings. I think the social refusal to face up to what implications this may have, is a great barrier to those forcing this issue into the open.

I believe that the buildings were helped in their collapse. I'd like to hear the different opinions and see an investigation. Because even if it lead to prominent people. They are not above the law. I find the US government's explanations for the events to be an insult to the American people's intelligence. The analysis of the molten iron found in samples taken from the site strongly support for me the argument that explosive specialized thermite was planted and used to destroy the towers, and that the government has knowledge of this fact.

While earning my bachelor's degree at The University of Texas at Austin, I did take one Architecture course, but that does not qualify me to be an expert in the field. It is clearly time for an independent investigation of the collapse of the buildings on 911. The evidence presented is very disturbing and we as citizens need to know for sure who was responsible and how it was done. The official explanation is very much in question. We know that governments often lie to their citizens. Recent history proves this regarding the invasion of Iraq among others. I have no confidence in the official explanation. When there is so much evidence pointed in the way of governmental conspiracies and corruption, when so many people in the U.S. are losing faith in their constitution and their government, you would think a private investigation would be allowed. If we were not lied to then their should be no reason not to want to investigate and restore faith to the American citizen. A private investigation is called for!! It looks like the buildings fell because of strategically placed explosives, it seems to me impossible that the buildings did not fall because of explosives, it seems to me impossible that my government did not have a hand in this terrible tragedy, and if we are not given a trial then we are not given our rights.
