PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

1) From a metals engineering perspective, my experience tells me that it is impossible for jet fuel to melt (liquefy) structural steel, yet there were rivers of glowing molten iron under ground zero for weeks after 9/11 as evidenced by eyewitness accounts and US Geological aerial thermographs. - - - - 2) Compounding the impossibility of fuel to melt steel is the massive heat sink of the huge central core weldments of the twin towers. However, these core structures are always left out of official discussions and computer generated simulations of these events. - - - - 3) The black smoke of the twin towers is evidence that the jet fuel fires inside were burning cool. Black smoke is an indication of an oxygen deprived fire - the towers were smoldering, not melting. Further evidence of the cool fires is radio records of NYC firefighters discussing how they only need two or three hoses to knock them out. - - - - 4) From a purely logical perspective, the official story does not make sense because of the events surrounding WTC 7 which was a full block away from the twin towers yet the buildings directly between it and the towers remained standing even though they were directly rained on by falling debris. WTC 7 was neither struck by an aircraft, nor significantly damaged by debris. - - - - 5) The following is a MUST SEE video: At just after 5pm EST, the BBC news had their NYC correspondent Jane Stanley in front of their studio window overlooking ground zero and reported that the Solomon Brothers Building (official name of WTC 7) had collapsed - when in fact it was standing like new in the background right behind her. How did they know about the collapse 20 minutes ahead of time? - - - - CONCLUSION: If someone knew of at least one of the collapses ahead of time and jet fuel was not the reason for the collapse, then there must be some other reason for that collapse. It logically follows that if this true explanation is being covered-up, it is probably the same explanation for all three buildings.

As I watched the collapse occur on the morning of 9/11/01 I was shocked because I had been sure that the buildings would not collapse as I watched for the time between the impact and the collapse. The failure mode made no sense to me as I watched it. I read the article in the New Yorker about the structural engineer of the building about a month later. He wondered if the fault lay in a cost cutting measure at the time of construction that was forced on him - one in which less insulation was wrapped around the steel. He blamed himself for the failure. I find the 9/11 Blueprint for Truth Evidence far more convincing.

Various ''strange'' breathless characters that were interviewed and who gave details that were not witnessed by the majority present to implant false memories in the still shocked public's mind and ad credence to the ''fairytale'. This is a typical method of brainwashing by the CIA, which they learned at the end of WWII from Germany. The removal of the debris so as to hide the condition of the steel girders that had obviously been ''sliced through'' by something. The free fall collapse and the failure for the building to just buckle and lean over as in other large building fire collapse. The constant use of the word ''terrorists'' by the leaders in the early hours. the fat they want us to believe that a fire was so intense that it made a massive building fall free fall and melt steel did not even singe a passport found at the foot of the site which was supposed to be from one of ''the terrorists''. The fact that the ''patsies'' accused of flying the craft attended a flying school in florida that is used by the CIA! and that the local aviation authority was told to ''back off'' when they wanted to do a check on the school pre event. We are led to believe that ''novice pilots'' did what a Luftwaffe pilot would find challenging. The fact that the weekend before the collapse there were power failures in the building and many technicians were seen to be entering and leaving the building throughout the day and night supposedly fixing ''the lights''.The fact that the twin towers security was controlled by a Bush member is also a perfect coincidence. Also how could a building that holds so many people have its escape doors to the roof LOCKED! was that ever officially addressed? I also suspect that the plane that went down in PV was shot down, as the debris was not that expected of a typical commercial plane crash. Also telling is how the US government had the ''Patriot act'' ready to go!UKUSA had already in place various other bills that prepared them for the invasion of the middle east only weeks prior this event. The debris from the collapse was not that of a fire collapse. The fact that the twin tower site was a ''white elephant'' but was acquired only weeks previously by Larry Silverstein who took out an insurance that would cover terrorist attacks by aircraft. The 9/11 event is probably one of the greatest evil plans the world has ever seen where the perpetrators got away with it. It definitely appears that Bldg #7 was a controlled demolition along with the other towers. It was announced on TV that #7 was going to come down and I also saw a clip of Larry Silverstein say pull it, which is a demolition term. Popular Mechanics said it was brought down by fire, which is totally contradictory to what the news and silverstein said. How could all these explosives be set for #7 between 11AM and 5:20PM? It takes weeks of planning to set explosives for demolition. This leads me to believe that the explosives were set long before 9/11. The fact that the ground was still burning up to 3 months after is also an indication that jet fuel was not the culprit. Witnesses said there was greenish smoke coming from the ground and some rescue workers said there shoes were melting. What happened to all the office furniture and door knobs in the buildings?

It wasn't until December 2006 that I came across Professor Steven Jones' paper and realised that there had to be a major issue here. I read further articles and books, discussed issues at meetings and contributed in forum discussions. My attention turned to the question of how it is possible to keep something like this quiet for so long, since that would mean that normal scientific processes were being interfered with in a big way. The fact that this petition is even necessary means that there has to be something hugely wrong.

I agree with the basic premises set forth by the Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth organization. I feel that the official NIST explanation concerning the collapse of the World Trade Towers on 9/11/01 is riddled with fraud and think that a further investigation is warranted. Building #7, for instance, was obviously purposefully demolished. We, the American People, deserve to know the truth!

I am a television editor with 15 years experience in the broadcast television industry both in the UK and in New Zealand. One of the programs I worked on was Briainiac where we conducted experiments with Thermite. I am familiar with how Thermite looks when ignited.
The big issues for me are Building 7's collapse and the pools of molten steel in the basement. If the two towers collapsed from the fires caused by jet fuel it does not account for the molten steel. Sure the fires may have weakened the steel but they would not have melted it. Building 7's collapse looks identical to a controlled demolition. I would say it does not look like a steel frame building collapsing from fires but before 9/11 no steel frame building has collapsed from fire.

Three of the worst structural building failures in history and no conclusion as to how these buildings collapsed in the manor they did as the result of fire. No data calculations, no working computer animations that resemble any of the collapses. I am no engineer but the manner in which the buildings collapsed is suspicious. From my research thus far, this is the first time in history that buildings have collapsed like this due to fire, event jet fuel. What makes this even more suspicious in my mind is the fact the building 7 also fell in the same manner but without being hit by a plane. The reasoning behind why the North and South Towers were able to fall as they did was because no metal could withstand the heat of a jet fuel fire... then why did it happen to building 7?

Lots of evidence points to all 3 buildings collapsing through controlled demolition. But, even if we were to just look at Building 7, it seems pretty overwhelming through structural and witness testimony. Reports state planning such a demolition would take weeks to set up so if just this one building is proved, then why not WTC 1 and 2.

My opinion is that all visible evidence points to controlled demolition...how could a building fall straight down unless its supporting structure at its base was compromised. It seems sketchy to the world.

I just think it's very strange that, not only did those massive buildings fall when struck so high up, but that they fell straight down. It looked like all the controlled demolitions you see of old buildings on TV. You can also go back and watch news reports on youtube from channels like CNN where eye witnesses reported hearing explosive, popping sounds before the buildings fell.

The idea of a premeditated destruction of the three Towers never occurred to me with any seriousness. I was in shock at the events on that day and believed what was 'told' to me. With an ever increasing frustration with our government and the 'wars' we waged, I wanted some sort of reason we (the USA) were acting the way we are. Upon hearing of AE911truth and spending significant time watching and reading the material available; I am 100% convinced this was intentional demolition. I have great respect and believe in the integrity of AE911truth. They stick to the plan of 'Presenting the Evidence' and not giving ANY opportunity for criticism that they are presenting a 'conspiracy' theory. The physical facts (and witnesses) speak for themselves. Let the investigation begin!

I am not an engineer or any kind of scientist. However, the whole official' story resonates falsely with me. I watched, years ago, a PBS special on the science of building demolition. It took a lot of planning and expertly placed explosive charges to drop buildings in their footprint. In no way can anyone convince me that buildings could drop into their footprint as the ones in NY on 9/11 did after being hit by jet airplanes.

It is obvious to anyone who observes the presentation offered on this website that the current explanation for the powder-ization of the World Trade Center Buildings was not due to the mere collision of the jet airliners into its sides and interior. It is more than obvious that the buildings were detonated with the use of highly sophisticated explosives using thermite and other substances.

I spent much of my working life constructing buildings, both large and small, a lot of which were reinforced concrete and steel beam structures. I am, therefore, well acquainted with a full range of building methodologies and materials, especially for the era when the Twin Towers were built. I have also done a lot of structural welding and understand the strength attributes of steel beams and how they react under pressure or heat. We always built by-the-book, according to engineer's specifications, as well as stringent codes of trade practice. Everything had to be inspected and signed off at each subsequent stage, to ensure ongoing structural integrity. In consideration of the way the Twin Towers were built, there is no possible way that the structures should have collapsed for the reasons hypothesized by the United States government or its investigators. The official reasoning postulated runs counter to the known laws of physics, as well as the well-known, lab-tested attributes of the building materials involved, which should never have failed under those circumstances.
Upon first seeing the footage of the 9/11 collapses, it was obvious to me that the 3 buildings were brought down by explosives, as controlled demolitions. The amount of heat generated by aircraft fuel could not possibly have had any appreciable weakening effect on the massive steel skeletons of the Twin Towers, and Building 7's collapse defies any rational explanation, other than by a controlled demolition. When I cut steel I need to use a concentrated flame of oxy-acetylene and could never do any kind of cut with kerosene (aircraft fuel). Even with oxy-acetylene, I would have tremendous difficulty blasting through structural steel as thick as that used in the twin tower's skeletons. With the 2nd plane impact into the South Tower, the vast majority of the fuel simply blew out the side of the building and the heat potential was largely dissipated. There was no appreciable damage to the massive, central steel skeleton of that building especially, sufficient for it to lose structural integrity. Moreover, the paltry heat generated from internal fires could never have weaken the support skeleton to any significant degree ... and yet the South Tower collapsed within a very short time. The demolition charges going off in rapid succession are very easy to see (and hear) within the many videos shot on the day and constitute the only reason the 3 buildings collapsed into their own footprints at near free-fall acceleration. Also, a Boeing 757-200 did not hit the Pentagon, the outer wall of which stood for about 40-minutes with only a 10-foot wide hole punched through it and no plane wreckage on the clear and clean front lawn. Whatever hit the Pentagon was very small ... possibly a fighter plane, drone or missile, but nothing larger. The entire 9/11 official story is transparent fraud. After studying all of the available evidence for years now I can only conclude that this was an inside job perpetrated by murderers holding high positions within the United States government. Also, compelling evidence convinces me that Osama Bin Laden died in late 2001 of Marfan disease and kidney failure. He stated that he was not responsible for the 9/11 murders and never admitted culpability during his lifetime. I cannot believe that this very gaunt-looking and obviously ill man lasted another 10-years beyond 2001.

As a long-time student and teacher of fine arts, I minored in engineering to follow in the foot steps of the renaissance masters who were always the architects of their time. I have written a book titled, Our Culture of Cults, which, among other points, recounts and analyzes the details of the 9-11 cover-up to relate the politics of the cover-up to cultist control styling.
No doubt that pre-explosions were heard, felt, witnessed, and experienced by many within the Towers before they went down. The Towers went down at nearly free fall speed long after the jet fuel expired, and the videos of the collapses clearly show additional, rapid fire, carefully timed, successive explosions erupting from each floor as their steel reinforced concrete structures were pulverized to dust. Molten metal was still found two weeks after the attack and massive Thermite residue was found everywhere proving professional demolition explosives had to have been used and planted prior to the attack. I could go on.

I am convinced that 9/11 was nothing like what was described to us on and after the events of 9/11. Steel and concrete do not disintegrate, Building 7 was brought down on purpose. No steel structure has ever fallen due to fires and the Trade Center was built to withstand a plane impact. The melting liquid steel, dozens of huge explosions and the destruction of Building 7 is the smoking gun. We need criminal charges brought forward, bin Laden was not indicted, nor was al-Queda. This was a planned demolition the whole time in my opinion. We must hold those responsible accountable.

I do not believe that planes hitting the trade centers would cause that kind of destruction and I don't believe that building 7 fell from fire. I think building 7 was demo'd.
