PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I woke and saw the news of the Towers on fire. - - I evaluated the situation and the comparatively minor damage compared to the size of the structure. - - The flash heat of jet fuel is unable to melt protected steel. - - Although I was greatly disturbed by the destruction, I saw no possibility of complete collapse. - - I watched every minute of news and was completely confused when and why the Towers collapsed. - - Further confused why the collapse was perfectly symmetrical. - - Asymmetric damage should result in asymmetric failure. - - - - I feel an odd sense of confused repression of what I thought I held as a solid scientific facts of physics when I see or hear about 9/11. It bothers me psychologically. It's as if it's possible that gravity may not work tomorrow. - - - - Please, the truth must surface.

I am college philosophy professor and long time member of 9/11 Truth Seattle. My specialty is the nature of religion, in particular as understood in cognitive terms. So I look at the human brain and the functions religion appears to serve. My conclusion is that religion (generically understood) is the brain's operating system. I did my PhD at Claremont and came to the 9/11 Truth Movement through reading Griffin's New Pearl Harbor. Since I knew him I knew that I had to take the book seriously. Since then I have been active, lectured, help produce events and written on 9/11. I have always been politically active. It is just the profound moral dimension of what 9/11 Truth is about demands a response -- or so I have argued in print. But it is true, I am a 9/11 activist against my will because I feel morally compelled to do something about the monstrous evil imperial America does.

From my personal education and experience, the only times buildings have fallen so gracefully was when careful thought and expertise have been in play. However, regardless of my personal opinions, the fact remains that a thorough investigation was never fully conducted or completed. The 'official' cause of destruction was full of inconsistencies and defiance of the laws of physics. The collected evidence points to different conclusions and those need to be released. The people deserve to know the truth.

In my former life as an obsessive/compulsive banjo picker, I worked at different jobs to support my music habit, including a few stints in the construction trades. As a union carpenter, I worked on various state-of-the-art steel and concrete structures, including two high rises. Tn the course of gaining this experience, I've seen these materials subjected to diverse stresses and I have an understanding of the energy required to reduce cured concrete to powder and to deform and/or cut steel beams.
Have you ever seen someone break up, say, a section of sidewalk with a sledge hammer? Note that the hammer has a metal head. What would happen if we were instead to affix a piece of the sidewalk itself onto a long handle and use it to try to bust up a bigger section? Common sense and Newton's third law of motion both tell us that this kind of hammer head would itself shatter in the process, and long before the task could be completed. By this basic logic we can see at once that NIST's explanation for the collapse of the Twin Towers is a silly canard. The notion that a small section of a high rise can, in two cases, fall upon the much larger, sturdier sections below and so thoroughly destroy them is a fantasy. That's my argument against NIST's theory: The kinetic energy of the small sections is insufficient to wreak the kind of damage observed. Based on the active thermitic residues that are pervasive in the dust of the towers, logic promotes explosives as the strongest candidate for squaring up the huge deficit in the energy accounts.

The fire department and NYPD were telling us it was coming down all day. There was no structural damage to the outside of that building, with fires from some of the windows on the 3rd floor. I graduated from Clarkson University in 1998. I focussed my attention on structures, optimization, and renewable energy. I took a graduate level course in Finite Element Analysis and that gives me some background to critically review the NIST studies on the WTC collapses.
Upon seeing the video of the WTC 7 collapse, I could see immediately that this was a classic case of controlled demolition. Clearly the core columns were cut first -- as shown by the center of the roof beginning collapse before the rest of the building -- and then the rest comes down at free-fall. Classic and unmistakable. If the WTC 7 was demolished, why not WTC 1 & 2? If there were any demolitions, then clearly 9/11 was an inside job. Period. We must find out who did this crime before they strike again in America -- perhaps with an even greater crime.

I was a founding member of 911truthLA (.org) - which started after I called for a protest at the Westwood Federal Building, on-air - during my radio show on KPFK Los Angeles - 'Another WorldView Is Possible'. The group was almost immediately hijacked (by SPOOKY folks) - so along with several other founders, I withdrew from it early-on.I am thanked in several early investigative books on '9/11' truth - like Mike Ruppert's 'Crossing the Rubicon' - and some other things. I was an uncredited consultant on '9/11 Mysteries' and the later/better versions of 'Loose Change'.
It was obvious to me from the moment that Cheney/W. were handed the Presidency by a 5/4 vote - that we would be having some kind of catalyzing event - and significant curtailment of Constitutional rights - within a short window. Turns out that I was right. I knew that '9/11' was an elaborate PSYOP from the first reports. The collapses looked engineered to me. And sure enough - we were in an endless war fir Empire within weeks. The Anthrax letters - still unresolved - used a US Military weaponized-strain... So I was early-on an outspoken critic of the official 'Conspiracy Theory'.
