PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have worked as superintendent and general superintendent for a number of companies, building large buildings, high-rises, and warehouses. I am retired now.
I saw a documentary about a French photographer and his brother who had selected to document the lives of fire fighters and 'probies' at a firehouse right next to the WTC. I believe one of them died in the event and the other was able to capture on film the collapse of the second tower well. How did they select that sight? Who paid them for their work? In this film there were flickering lights, as in a controlled explosion, going from left to right starting with the top floor and going down floor by floor until about the fifth floor and then everything was obscured with demolition dust and total collapse. Obviously that firehouse was the first to respond. Was this British film a simulation or did it capture the truth? My other question is this: would it not have been wiser to douse the burning debris with water flown in by helicopters until all burning had stopped before sifting through the burning debris for human remains?

I am not an Architect and not a member of your group, but I have been a member of ny9/11truth, ny9/11t-action and nyccan.org for the past 6 years. I have collected many signatures for the 9/11 Ballot Initiative here in NYC for a new independent investigation of 9/11. Unfortunately our hard work and determination were slighted when the 70 000 signatures were eliminated by the NY City Clerk, thus gagging the voices of 70 000 New Yorkers. I am German born but a naturalized US citizen, traveled all over the world as a PAA in flight purser, retired now, but not retired to do everything in my power to get the truth out about 9/11.
My initial response to the collapse of the towers and building 7 into their footprints was that no building would collapse in this fashion having been hit by a plane. Building 7 in particular was strange, as it was not struck by a plane, and the fires that one could see smoldering and not raging were not enough to bring the building down in such a fashion. For a while I was in denial, but then I heard Dr. David Ray Griffin speak here in NY at a 9/11truth meeting and he convinced me that not all of what our government had been telling us was true. After that I continued reading, especially the scientific data and became an active member in ny9/11truth.

The background of Robert Sogge is unique in that they include training, teaching, research and practical consulting in the specific area of soil-structure interaction. As to the 'conspiracy' theory, I don't get into it ' instead, I look at the failure of just Bldg #7 that came down at 5:23 pm after only being hit by a small 40 ft by 40 ft section of steel beam. The building constructed of steel came tumbling down. I, as a designing Civil Engineer, would not want to design with such a material if that were the case. So it is said to have failed by 'progressive failure'. Where is the research, conferences and study on this topic. Where is AISC in defending their product as they always used to do in comparisons to concrete structures? Where are our professional groups like ASCE on this topic? I notice that ASCE sponsored a 'paper' on the Pentagon Bldg failure ' but the study was a joke in that concrete walls were replaced by columns in the analysis. When the Teton Dam failed in the late 70's, the cause of the failure was investigated. The failure generated much research and subsequent conferences on Hydraulic Fracturing ' the culprit. Thank you for finally creating a voice for those of us who would like to correct the facts for the public and preserve the profession we work in and love.

Attacking a steel structure at the vertical midsection can, at best, topple the upper half of the building, but could never collapse itself into its own footprint. To collapse into its own footprint it would have had to be designed to do so, but as we know, it had the integrity to withstand earthquakes and thus it had ample support at it's center, precluding the impossibility of the former.

All video that I've watched of the 9/11 event points to controlled demolition. It is impossible for buildings to achieve free fall velocities without complete demolition of the substance and support mechanisms. One tower swayed after impact but stabilized also indicating the support mechanisms held.

After viewing the data presented in various documentaries and analysis, I am absolutely convinced that what happened to both towers and WTC-7 was a controlled and intentional event. Math and physics do not lie. When viewing videos of controlled demolitions side-by-side with videos of the twin towers the similarity is uncanny. Viewing video of structural collapse due to instability and natural causes is significantly different than what occurred on 9/11. Metal structures would not, and do not, collapse in that fashion without precision demolition. Furthermore, I have seen jet fuel burn and it would not burn long enough or hot enough to cause the type of structural damage alleged by NIST and other officials.

I saw a video clip on TV here on close up on tvnz in New Zealand, and they talked about the collapse. I tend to look at things 'objectively' as opposed to 'subjectively'. When I watched the world trade buildings come down I saw buildings exploding in a shower of dust and debris, not 'collapsing'. I don't see why it requires a degree physics or engineering to conclude that the buildings were demolished through the application of high energy explosives. The problem is that unless a person has a PhD or some recognized 'title' their view is not considered 'credible'. 'Fear' is what is keeping the truth from coming out, fear of recrimination, loss of employment, loss of face etc.

I have no direct experience with structural engineering, but when researching the facts behind 9/11, there are way too many unanswered questions that need to be investigated further. A main concern of mine was the unusual way that WTC # 7 collapsed in the exact fashion of a planned demolition many, many hours after the other buildings had fallen. I'm not an engineer, nor an architect, but the collapse of the World Trade Center and building 7 is apparently different from any other collapsed building, except for planned demolitions of course. As I have only seen footage of the events I can only attest to the day of the events when I watched the buildings fall and the pops that came out the sides of the buildings. I also remember people saying it looked as if there were military planes flying into the buildings. So in short, I feel by my evidence alone, my eyewitness testimony, more investigation is absolutely necessary and required.

I have found it very strange from the beginning when looking at the video of the falling buildings that they would fold in such an organized manner. Now I know why. I have the deepest sorrow for those who perished in those buildings and for those who miss them.

I have a AA degree in Engineering Technology and a BS in Information systems management. I worked as a contractor for IBM for 11 years, and in the computer industry for 20.
While I don't have the credentials for speaking about Tower 1 and 2, it is very apparent that building 7 was controlled. Buildings just don't fall on their own. The small fire in the building could not in any way caused the destruction of that building. I live in Austin Tx, where the IRS building was hit, and the destruction to that building was much worse, and that building is still standing. The tapes of the fireman that are on youtube are also convincing. I also heard from the Jesse Ventura show that the black boxes were found, but the pubic doesn't know about them. There is so much evidence about this. I remember looking at the yahoo finance page, and someone was doing a lot of stock trading on AA, and United Airlines on 9.10. Why was this not investigated?

After watching the Architects & Engineers 9/11 truth videos I am convinced that these buildings did not collapse due to the planes flying into them. I strongly believe that there should be a new investigation. I strongly distrust the main stream media and the Powers That Be that promote the official story on this horrendous event. I do not have a degree; however, I do have a functioning brain.

I am very concerned about the official story about the collapse of the towers in New York. The reasons are many. One reason in particular is that a similar sky rise in Caracas, Venezuela caught on fire. The fire could not be contained and therefore the fire department had to let it die on its own. The building burned for 18 hours straight with an intense flame. After the fire, the steel structure remained standing. I was shocked to see that the Twin towers in NY collapsed and pulverized so quickly after the planes hit them. About building 7, why did it fall? No plane hit it. They said they had to pull it. How long does it take a crew of demolition experts to prepare a building to implode it? As far as I understand it takes about a month to 6 weeks to prepare a building that size to be pulled down.

America has always had a strong justice system. As history shows The United States will get to the bottom of 911. My thoughts are that this will get solved but it won't happen overnight. This could also go all the way up to the White House and the CIA. The perpetrators would be feeling extremely nervous right now.
