PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have training in civil engineering and structural steel design; structural steel buildings do not collapse in a brittle catastrophic manner. Structural steel connections are designed to yield with plastic deformation, allowing for significant ductility/elasticity. After observing the WTC video collapses on video, I can state that it is impossible for such rapid loss of structural support to occur in the underlying floors. With fully movement-restrained connections, some mobilization of structural capacity should have occurred, resulting in a slower rate of decent, and an irregular collapse configuration.

Without insisting on a thorough explanation of what transpired on 9/11, the AIA simply cannot claim to represent the architectural profession. - - - - I didn't see video footage of the collapses until 2005. At that point I spent months searching the web for more information. At the end of the day, the deliberate demolition is obvious. The reasons for doing so are incomprehensible - which is why many people refuse to acknowledge reality. The reality however, is that multiple crimes were committed, and crimes need to be investigated and the criminals brought to justice. They never were in Iraq.

As an experienced civil engineer, specializing in structural engineering, I do not believe that a local failure due to fire could cause the collapse that I witnessed on video (WTC 7). I find this very disturbing along with the evidence of explosive material in the dust. It is shocking to me that the evidence (the debris) was allowed to be destroyed.

Visual examination of the towers collapsing is at odds with a merely gravitational powered causation. The debris expelled from WTC1 & 2, and the symmetrical collapse of WTC7 are not simply due to any weakened structural components. There has also not been a thorough investigation of these events, having instead partial reports that coincidentally just decide to stop examining the evidence, and deliver a non-fact based conclusion. We deserve to know all we can about this tragic day as Americans.

I'm signing this petition because I've devoted a great deal of time watching both raw news clips, amateur video footage, and multiple documentaries surrounding the 9/11 tragedies. I've also tuned in to three separate radio programs which have interviewed engineers. I'm familiar with much of the data behind the conspiracy claims and also the casual and official debunking reports. With all of that in mind, I do believe beyond a reasonable doubt that the buildings did not fall due to the two plane impacts and resulting fires. There had to be thermite or a similar demolition-grade incendiary involved to collapse the three buildings.

We were on our honeymoon in Crete when the attacks happened - it was mid-day local-time and i was flicking through the TV - it was way too hot to go outside at the time. I came across a channel (some exported SKY NEWS variant) that had Bush making an announcement about something evidently, from the tone and language, awful that had just happened. We saw much coverage from just before the second plane strike, through to aftermath of towers one and two collapse. I couldn't believe it then, and don't believe it now and applaud your efforts to get at the real truth behind this stain on the history of all humanity.

It would seem prudent to conduct an open analysis and investigation to bring closure; also to build a model or simulation would seem helpful, say a 40 story model to scale out in a Nebraska field. Even if it cost half a billion dollars and 2 years to build. This country has tons of old airliners. I watched live on TV when the Twin Towers collapsed. I remember saying out loud after the first collapse, It looks like that building was demolished! But I didn't question the truths we were offered. It was such a huge tragedy that it was overwhelming to believe anything but what we were being told. However, over the years, I've done so much research regarding the collapse of the towers - especially Tower 7 - that I have no choice but to hang in limbo awaiting the REAL truth. Tower 7 was apparently pulled, no matter how unsure I am about Towers 1 & 2. Tower 7 was demolished. Plain and simple. Now... I want to know how and why.

Never before or since has this happened. We have no security video of one of the most secure buildings in the world. We saw the controlled collapse of three major buildings in broad daylight and a cover up. The NYPD and FDNY families do not believe it was from the plane crash. I believe the government knew in advance and we are seeing the beginning of a greater plan for the governing of the world.
