On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I am a retired Major General, Army National Guard, and I have 38 years of work as a mechanical engineer with the department of Navy in the design of weapons, components, and transportation means. Lifting and handling was the basis for my experience in strength of materials and the analysis of failure therein. I'm degreed as a mechanical engineer, Louisiana Tech, 1962.
I have read numerous reports containing both calculations and science as well as opinions, watched numerous videos of interviews with experts, watched the collapse of all buildings more times than I can accurately state and there are many factors which simply do not fit the scenario. What I have read of the residual chemical evidence pointing to materials for which there is no logical explanation, other than that an explosives expert with unique access to materials was involved. Most importantly, perhaps, is the indisputable fact that all three buildings fell as in a controlled demolitions scenario. The fuel from the planes did not have enough energy to transfer to the massive central support beams and cause structural failure. Therefore, something else had to be in play to cause what we saw. Then in Building 7, it had no damage from a plane strike. What would have caused it to fall shortly after the owner's decision to 'pull it'? My view is that this is a false flag operation and the USA is up to it's eyeballs in it. I have not continuously followed this crime because it was clear from the beginning that it was being swept under the rug, but there were some very resourceful engineers who studied the rate of acceleration of the fall of the two towers and determined that there was insignificant deviation from free fall. Meaning that the towers did not take a detour and crash their way down one floor at a time, overcoming the strength of each floor, which equates to time, thus loosing that straight-line acceleration we would expect unless a number of floors were assisted by controlled demolition. And what about all that molten steel that was running like a small stream in the basement with traces of thermite in it?

Given my knowledge of basic structural mechanics, properties of steel, and the structure of a light construction office towers, I think it would be impossible for the buildings to fall as they did from the jet crashes and subsequent fire, which was not hot enough to melt steel.

Three and 1/2 decades of building and designing business computer systems and databases. Visual examination of the towers collapsing is at odds with a merely gravitational powered causation. The debris expelled from WTC1 & 2, and the symmetrical collapse of WTC7 are not simply due to any weakened structural components. There has also not been a thorough investigation of these events, having instead partial reports that coincidentally just decide to stop examining the evidence, and deliver a non-fact based conclusion. We deserve to know all we can about this tragic day as Americans.

I'm signing this petition because I've devoted a great deal of time watching both raw news clips, amateur video footage, and multiple documentaries surrounding the 9/11 tragedies. I've also tuned in to three separate radio programs which have interviewed engineers. I'm familiar with much of the data behind the conspiracy claims and also the casual and official debunking reports. With all of that in mind, I do believe beyond a reasonable doubt that the buildings did not fall due to the two plane impacts and resulting fires. There had to be thermite or a similar demolition-grade incendiary involved to collapse the three buildings.

I am an Irish man living happily in Leeds with my Scottish wife Grace for the past ten years or so. I work in the IT sector, while my wife is in public health administration. We were on our honeymoon in Crete when the attacks happened - it was mid-day local-time and i was flicking through the TV - it was way too hot to go outside at the time. I came across a channel (some exported SKY NEWS variant) that had Bush making an announcement about something evidently, from the tone and language, awful that had just happened. We saw much coverage from just before the second plane strike, through to aftermath of towers one and two collapse. I couldn't believe it then, and don't believe it now and applaud your efforts to get at the real truth behind this stain on the history of all humanity.

It would seem prudent to conduct an open analysis and investigation to bring closure; also to build a model or simulation would seem helpful, say a 40 story model to scale out in a Nebraska field. Even if it cost half a billion dollars and 2 years to build. This country has tons of old airliners. Have Boeing drone one to scale, fly it into the model tower, and set scientific equipment and video to monitor the results.

I watched live on TV when the Twin Towers collapsed. I remember saying out loud after the first collapse, It looks like that building was demolished! But I didn't question the truths we were offered. It was such a huge tragedy that it was overwhelming to believe anything but what we were being told. However, over the years, I've done so much research regarding the collapse of the towers - especially Tower 7 - that I have no choice but to hang in limbo awaiting the REAL truth. Tower 7 was apparently pulled, no matter how unsure I am about Towers 1 & 2. Tower 7 was demolished. Plain and simple. Now... I want to know how and why.
