PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I work on building these type of structures. I know what it takes to melt steel. The beams were huge I am sure and 1200 degrees would not melt or heat them enough to do this type of damage. I am a union Steamfitter and have a science and math background and design piping systems.

I saw a documentary about a French photographer and his brother who had selected to document the lives of fire fighters and 'probies' at a firehouse right next to the WTC. I believe one of them died in the event and the other was able to capture on film the collapse of the second tower well. How did they select that sight? Who paid them for their work? In this film there were flickering lights, as in a controlled explosion, going from left to right starting with the top floor and going down floor by floor until about the fifth floor and then everything was obscured with demolition dust and total collapse. Obviously that firehouse was the first to respond. Was this British film a simulation or did it capture the truth? My other question is this: would it not have been wiser to douse the burning debris with water flown in by helicopters until all burning had stopped before sifting through the burning debris for human remains?

The available evidence points very clearly to controlled demolition. Most remarkable to me is the free-fall acceleration of all 3 towers, which every video camera that day documented. It cannot be refuted. This means that every single column provided precisely zero resistance (ie. zero support), all at the same time. This can only have been achieved through explosives/incendiaries. Again, this holds true for all 3 towers. Also, airplanes are designed to burn their fuel at as high a temperature as possible, for maximum efficiency. Jet fuel can not melt titanium or structural steel, let alone vaporize it. To suggest so is absurd.

I have no answers, but there are far too many unanswered questions concerning the engineering details of the events leading to the collapse of three steel and concrete structures - that fell (at near free-fall rates) within their own footprints. How could this happen? No one has come close to answering those questions to the satisfaction of any knowledgeable engineer. It simply 'doesn't compute' to people familiar with the supposed process. I do not believe the stories that were floated - they were 'made up' by people who did not appreciate the information that engineers could extract by studying the videos of 9/11.

I work with a consulting firm conducting power system stability analysis and excitation system design.
The work done by professionals to refute the NIST report is concise and simple. When simulating the power grid, results are never perfect and can be misleading. It is possible to adjust parameters until a desired outcome is achieved. Simulation of grid parameters are obtained from testing of the equipment only. Repeated simulations where parameters are modified to fit desired outcomes is considered dry labbing. The NIST report appears to be based mainly on computer simulation tuned to achieve the desired outcome of a plane and fire collapsing the towers, but it disregards any test results. I have faith in physics, not in the NIST report.

This would be impossible if the only thing burning were smothered remnants of office supplies and remnants of jet fuel which mostly burned off in the first few minutes. Temperatures of combustion of such an oxygen starved fuel could not even make steel glow. 2) The inability of the remnants of jet fuel and office supplies to provide sufficient heat to significantly weaken key structural members evenly to the point of failure. 3) The towers falling at near the acceleration of gravity into their own footprint. Even if the impacted floors somehow gave way due solely to fire, they certainly would not give way at the same time all around the structure. One side would have been weaker than another causing that side to fail first causing the upper structure to tip over imparting rotational momentum to the upper structure and shifting the CG away from the stronger side and onto the weaker side causing the weaker side to collapse faster... and so on until the tops of the buildings toppled over. There is no way an uncontrolled demolition would be so neat as these were. The mass and structure below the failure point would have absorbed enormous energy and momentum slowing the fall to significantly less than the acceleration of gravity. 4) Building 7 sustained minimal damage with only a few cool fires and its collapse has yet to be explained officially. 5) The many vertical structural members would have no cause to buckle and shear off at 45 degree angles. If the floors were to pancake as supposed, they would have had to shear off of the vertical supports leaving hundreds of feet of beams sticking up in the air. ...and I could go on...

I am an outsider, and initially I didn't think about the videos of the WTC buildings collapsing which I had seen only once on 9/11/2001. But then a friend had let me borrow In Plane Sight and Loose Change DVDs and I was initially very doubtful. But after seeing these videos, I was firmly convinced that 9/11 was an inside job. The more I thought about the building falling at free fall speed, the more I realized how ridiculously impossible that is - it's amazing that many of us saw that building fall and didn't realize the problem with the physics of a gravitational collapse explaining that kind of rapid and complete fall. Now, the free fall speed, the molten metal for weeks, the hole in the Pentagon, the air force stand down, the evidence is overwhelming for controlled demolition. As a Reliability and Quality Engineer for over 30 years, I was required to consider all of the facts associated with any engineering failure. Disciplines that required my constant awareness are design integrity, manufacturing defects, environmental exposure, life limiting factors, etc.
I was acutely aware of Engineering Cost Analysis and Life Cycle Cost Analysis, with many post graduate courses in these disciplines. My career was heavily biased toward statistical analysis and Warranty Cost Forecasting, requiring me to consider all possibilities, emphasizing the likelihood that the less likely events should be considered less heavily. Perhaps, this is why I was extremely reluctant to even consider the possibility that 9/11 could have been a staged event. What is the chance that our own government could pull that off and get away with it? I pondered. When I was confronted with the facts, and I considered the reality that the temperatures of jet fuel combustion do not support the suggested failure modes posed by the government's official report, I was forced into a paradigm shift. This reality has changed my entire perspective on the groups that I had previously dismissed as emotional, uneducated fools. I was wrong and I am grateful to the 9/11 Truthers for holding me accountable for the Truth! Now, I too am a 9/11 Truther. The facts about the collapse of three WTC buildings on 9/11/2001 just do not support the theory posed by the PBS Report, or the US Government's publication. There must be further explanation to satisfy my hunger for the truth about the horrible realities of the WTC and Pentagon murders. As an engineer, as a patriot, as citizen of the United States of America, I demand that the government which is accountable to its citizens appoint an independent commission to investigate and report on the Truth of 9/11/2001.

Even though my personal domain of competence is not civil engineering nor materials, I feel that the 'official version' of 9/11 does not make sense. There are very many specific questions that have not been answered satisfactorily (or not answered at all!). Free fall collapse of the buildings is not possible without use of explosives. - - - - As the towers collapsed they were turned in to concrete dust and relatively small pieces structural steel. This combined with the almost free fall of the collapsed floors would have reduced the load on the lower floors that were intact, not increased it. So,what caused them to collapse?

As an engineer (EIT) I am unable to accept the mainstream conclusion of the collapse of the three World Trade Center buildings. Furthermore, having twice been involuntarily pulled from my profession (once in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and currently in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom), I am disturbed that the sole 'legal' justification for such activations of reserve units is the war on terror declared in response to the events of 9-11-01 (Executive Order 13223). The cause of the building collapses is immediately relevant to all our current foreign campaigns and policies.

I've worked for 10 years as a process engineer in multiple industries including, Iron and Steel Pipe, Pulp and Paper, and Nuclear Separations. My primary engineering role is now process control. I worked for two years in the Melting Department at a Ductile Iron Manufacturing plant.
From first hand experience, the process of melting solid iron or steel requires enormous amounts of energy either in an arc furnace or a blast furnace. We did not use hydrocarbon fuel or burning office supplies to melt the iron. There is ample evidence on this website to compel a new investigation: molten iron, chemical signatures of thermate, lack of pancaked floors, multiple eye-witness testimonies of explosions before the collapse. Mr. Gage and others like him are heroes for standing up for our country and telling the truth about what really happened on 9/11.

I'm presently a Senior Principal Design Engineer/Manager with over 24 years of broad industry experience in Product and Design Engineering. My initial year at engineering school exposed me to mechanical as well as civil engineering, although my concentration has been on electronic engineering. I've received over 10 US patents which relate to IC design.
It's my understanding that when a building has been destroyed by fire in the course of a crime, then forensic analysis must legally test for the use of accelerants. I believe NIST did not comply with this requirement and the only rigorous xray analysis of the steel ejected from this crime scene found strong evidence which supported the possibility that thermate was present. NIST's final conspiracy theory that thermal expansion was responsible for the collapse of WTC 7 - a new phenomenon. I also found out today that one of the eyewitnesses to explosive forces emanating from the basement of the Twin Towers, Kenny Johannemann, committed suicide - such testimony I feel was never fully considered by the 9/11 Commission and this evidence is rapidly disappearing, or worse, being swept under the carpet. I would like to see an independent inquiry into the unanswered questions regarding what really happened on 9/11 and full accountability of those who were complicit in the events of that day. I consider diversion of our nation's military to a bogus war in Iraq at the height of our nation's response to this attack with extreme suspicion.

In my point of view the location of non burned (possibly) Nano Thermite and the velocity of the impacts over a complete steel construction makes it obvious, that everybody should ask for new an independent investigations. I concur with the thousands of researchers and professionals who have stated that Occam's Razor here trumps official government propaganda: there is a wealth of physical, videographic, and eyewitness testimonial evidence that renders the government's story ludicrous and that suggests controlled demolition (WTC 7 being the most unadorned case).

My area of study was civil engineering, more specifically structural engineering.
Based on the facts that all three structures collapsed symmetrically as well as the chemical evidence of explosive material found in the dust/debris from the site, I believe the structures were destroyed by controlled demolition, not impact loads/explosions/fires caused by the airplanes. Also, the steel frame surrounding the impact zones would have deformed slowly after the initial impacts due to the ductility of the structural steel. This would have resulted in a localized failure at the weak points(where planes hit) and toppling of the structures through the path of least resistance. WTC 7 was the mayors shelter and it collapsed at free fall acceleration for about 2.25 seconds into its own footprint with no plane impact. This indicates that all of the potential energy was converted directly into kinetic energy with no additional energy available to destroy the steel frame and concrete floor decks of the structure. Free fall acceleration is impossible without the use of explosives to remove the numerous columns, beams. and connections simultaneously!

Electrical/Electronic Engineer, during my degree I have studied physics and the evidence more than overwhelms the lie put out by the government. Could they have destroyed the crime scene by removing all the evidence any faster?
This was a staged demolition with no doubt. The plane's impact and the fire that ensued did not bring these buildings down. Being on national TV, too many people's statements illuded to this. It is a crying shame that most people get caught up in the sensationalism and do not look at the physical evidence. The government, the media and the powers above them prey on the innocent citizens that are not educated enough to know the simple law of physics.

I really have no structural experience other than taking structural engineering at NMSU. My experience has been with highways and municipal design.
The official story is that the buildings, weakened by fire, and falling under their own wight, pancaked down. The collapse happened in less than 10 seconds, which is about the time for a free falling object from that height to hit the ground. Resistance of building joints at each floor would have slowed the fall and possibly caused a much less even descent, perhaps even toppling. Pancaking would have left much more evidence. Explosives would have removed all evidence leaving only dust.

The physical evidence pointing to a controlled demolition of the WTC towers and WTC building 7 are undeniable. An independent investigation of the evidence is needed to answer the many outstanding questions that have never been addressed. The official explanation of the events of 9/11 are clearly false, and must be independently investigated so that the truth of the physical evidence can be brought to light.

To me, the evidence shown by Richard Gage in the DVD titled 9/11: Blueprint for Truth clearly shows that the public was not given the real story behind why those buildings collapsed. You just can't ignore the evidence of molten steel, pulverized concrete, U shaped steel I-beams with no stress fractures, and signs of explosions (squibs) 40 stories below the collapsing rubble. The list of unanswered technical questions surrounding this tragedy is just too long to be ignored.

I have been involved in the design and inspection of structures for approximately 30 years, including dams, bridges, roads, canals, pipelines, retaining walls, drainage structures, and other structures.
One of the many things that puts the official story in question for me is the matter of foreknowledge. How could so many people know that WTC buildings 1, 2, and 7 were going to come down when a fire has never caused a complete collapse of a building before. Also, it was well documented that the Twin Towers were designed to withstand a crash of a large passenger airplane.

When I saw the collapse for the first time in 2001, I only thought it was strange that the towers did not fall against the others but only on their own footprint. In 2006 I studied this question seriously and concluded the collapse could not have been possible without explosives put inside the buildings.

To the best of my knowledge and belief the WTC towers collapsed due to controlled demolition. I subscribe to the substance of the Kaminski article, 9/11 was a Hoax. There should have been immediate criminal investigations.
