To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I actually worked at the World Trade Center Tower 2 back in the '80's and when I turned on the TV that dreadful morning of Sept. 11th the first thing I thought of were all of the workers in the basement and sub-basement levels. I was an Executive Chef working for Inhilco back in the '80's and spent many hours below the street levels ordering foods and designing my menus based on what was in season. To date, I have heard nothing of the potentially 100's of people working there who were incinerated in these rarely spoken about Explosions in the sub-basement levels. After trying to avoid looking at the horrible truth, I now have to admit that I am NO LONGER asleep. Of course these buildings were BROUGHT DOWN by controlled demolitions. And the amount of sophistication to pull it off had to have taken A MINIMUM of 9 months to a year to put into place. Elevator upgrades?? I think not!! That (The elevator renovation) cover supplied the context for which the Super Nano Thermite Gels and dry explosives were slowly put in to place over the period of...many...we will never know for sure...months...so that once placed this False Flag Terriorist operation could just play out, giving the Bush dynasty it's Gulf of Tonkin to proceed into WAR.

Having reviewed a great amount of the published findings associated with the 9/11 events - official and otherwise - I find myself compelled to seek a revisiting of the facts and circumstances surrounding the event in order that a more definitively exhaustive and conclusive accounting of this significant episode in the history of our country might be forthcoming. Upon much reflection I sincerely believe that to stand by and allow the 'fog of war' to interfere in the attainment of the 'truth' is 'unpatriotic' and inexcusable on my part as a taxpaying and law-abiding US Citizen and a member of the architecture profession. The 'official' accounting as rendered by the 9/11 Commission/NIST has been measured and found to be somewhat lacking as regards scope. All of the buildings, WTC 1, 2 & 7, appear to have fallen far too fast. WTC 7 was not even 'hit' and it collapsed straight down into its footprint. Dante Amato, Architect

It is doubtful that buildings which are built to withstand great amounts of stress fell solely because of airplanes. Who caused the towers to fall? That is really uncertain. Saw WTC7 fall like a controlled demolished live on CNN on the day of 911, and waited for an explanation(I thought they had to pull it, so it wouldnt damage other buildings). I definitely do not believe that the excess fuels carried on the planes did not cause both towers to come down. I think Building 7 may have been the next target by flight 93 not Washington as many think. If flight 93 would come close to Washington, it would then become to obvious our military was worthless to protect it, especially since the Pentagon was hit. Flight 93 never made it, and Building 7 was pulled as it would be intended to be after Flight 93 would make it's hit, just like the towers. Maybe some criminal acts and transactions were already taking place in the towers and building 7 possibly involving our politicians, government and high corporate managers. It was a coverup for these possible criminal acts that may have been had the risk to be exposed to the public, but the evidence was evaporated by the terrorism act that took place. It's hard to trust our own government in this respect. We need a new investigation to take place

It is possible that at least some of core columns were blown down on lower floors/basement first, see Phillip Morelli/Willy Rodriguez testimony. I have been looking into this for some time, really not good that most of the evidence we would have had to figure out what actually happened that day has already been destroyed. In any criminal investigation the first thing that should be done is preservation of evidence. Sadly this investigation went in the opposite direction quite quickly. Outside of the buildings I think the biggest piece of evidence is the debris area of the Pennsylvania plane. Debris from a plane crash is very unlikely to be spread over 6 to 8 miles unless it explodes or tears apart in mid air.

I remember the day when the towers collapsed and i watched it all through the tv. It was just one big shocking media circus. Out of emotion, at first it all seemed to be a hostile terrorist attack, but then quickly reasoning stepped in. Captured airplane loose for so long, in americas propably most monitored and defenced city? And then came the less visual but equally absurd stuff like the Pentagon hit and WTC-7 (which nobody apparently felt like explaining or even videotaping enough). There's no bodies, no furniture no nothing in the rubble but they found the PASSPORT of our favorite planesman? Let the hunt begin. WTC was horrible with thousands of innocents getting killed, trip to the middle east UNTHINKABLE with millions losing their lives and for what? Every country has more or less their own dirty secrets, but this is by far the most dangerous coalition there is. If we don't now unspun the disgusting web of lies, then soon enough we'll enter the cold nuclear war once more, and then there's no turning back. Game over for our planet earth and great civilizations.

The collapse of the NYC WTC Twin Towers and associated buildings (I had been on the observation deck of one of the towers on two separate recreational occasions while visiting NYC) have an apparent and obvious mystery compared with other steel framed buildings that have suffered fire or other damage. I agree it is absolutely unreasonable to believe these sound structures could fall to the ground at near free fall acceleration rates, not to mention WTC7's failure which did not sustain similar and significant damage. We deserve to know the truth about what happened on 9/11/2001.

Concerned citizen who believes we need a real investigation, not a blow off by the same congress & white house who sent us into a war in iraq for mythological weapons of mass destruction. The WTC towers fell at free-fall speed, as though the buildings dissolved without a single iota of resistance. Everywhere on the site there are examples/evidence of melted, molten metal, which jet fuel can not burn nearly hot enough to produce. WTC7 looks exactly like a controlled demolition to me.

On 9/11 I was listening to NPR [hadn't found KPFA yet] when my daughter said - turn on the TV. I saw the second plane hit. I listened and assumed that what they were saying on the TV was the truth. Someone at a showing of Explosive Evidence, which I hosted, said, 'Just because explosives were used doesn't mean the Muslims didn't plant them.' This begs several questions; not only how could 'the Muslims' have done that, but why would they fly planes into buildings they'd wired to blow up? More importantly, if the government was not involved - which would require ignoring all the evidence to the contrary - why does it continue to ignore, deny and lie about evidence of the controlled demolitions of WTC 1, 2 & 7?

I am a US citizen living and working abroad for an international organization.
I am convinced that the collapses of the three towers were caused by controlled demolition. The official explanation does not explain the collapse of WTC7 which was not hit by an airplane. The two towers which were hit by airplanes fell at free-fall speeds into their own footprints. Such free-fall into a building's own footprint is only possible when the supporting structures are entirely shattered, which can only occur with explosives. This was a great crime against property and people which was magnified further when it was used as the excuse for undertaking two wars against other nations and demonizing an entire race of people. We must get to the bottom of this and make known to the world what really happened, who the true perpetrators of this crime really were, and bring these people before the law to be charged and punished for their crimes. Only then might our nation someday be forgiven for the atrocities which we perpetrated on the world in the name of 9/11.

I believe that any person of normal intelligence can see the video of the collapses of the three buildings and understand that it could not have been the accidental result of fire or impact. Since most of the people who died on 9/11 were killed by the collapse rather than the initial airliner strikes, it is essential that we know why the collapse happened.

From day one, I thought the official story did not add-up. They must have had advanced warning -- we have satellites! Nothing made sense. I didn't believe that people were jumping from the buildings. When I saw David Ray Griffin at Madison, WI on CSPAN in 2005 and read his two books, my eyes were opened. Then, someone gave me a Steven Jones' 9/11 Revisited: Scientific and Ethical Questions (2006) DVD. It made sense to me. My then 84 year old mother didn't want to watch this DVD presentation. But, when she started to hear it played from another room, she came in to watch it, sat down and her jaw dropped as she continued to watch the entire DVD. I think Richard Gage's two hour DVD presentation is a masterpiece and I would like to see it on POV on PBS. I think David Chandler's 5+ min. presentation that just repeats the exploding tower over and over again is very effective showing the pulverized concrete, etc. and steel beams being ejected sideways at the very top and I would like to see that as a PBS short. When I saw the flung steel beams embedded in buildings across the street it really gave me pause. I've sent these DVD's to my local PBS stations. It seems that when people see something on TV, they give it more weight. While taking an education course, I learned that most people need to have an intial exposure to a new concept to lay the groundwork and a subsequent exposure for the concept to take root, i.e., a new concept needs time to sink-in and repetition to understand; people need an initial exposure, followed by repetition before they are willing to accept a new concept -- such as what really happened on 9/11 -- because the truth is horrible to believe.

I live in New York City, and was in Manhattan on September 11, 2001. The evidence as it has been presented to me by the government, does not add up in my opinion. I would like more answers from the government as to how a building could collapse in free fall despite not being hit by an airplane.
