On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I initially accepted the heating-theory when the WTC buildings collapsed because it sounded plausible at first glance and I didn't feel any compulsion to examine or think about it any further. However, upon seeing Loose Change, Fabled Enemies, and listening to the makers of those videos in person and listening to Richard Gage in person and referencing it to my background in structures and thermal dynamics, it became apparent to me that this was yet another fiasco/cover up ala Oklahoma City. I even manufactured my own refutations of the official version for the layman: 1. If you pour any flammable liquid on a flat surface (like a beam), what is the hottest point? Answer: it's at the tip of the flame NOT at the base so all that fuel spilling randomly around the buildings could not possibly have melted/softened so much steel mass from such an uncontrolled fire (just pour some alcohol on a cement floor, light it, then put your finger inside the flame near the floor and then at the tip of the flame and compare the temps). 2. Heat dissipates rapidly in 3-dimensions so couldn't possibly have the focused or confined temps necessary to melt steel, most of it would be carried away by air. 3. Steel itself also dissipates heat rapidly so any heating that occurred at the site of the fire would immediately spread throughout the steel frame disallowing any temperatures hot enough to melt steel anywhere other than the site of the fire if at all. 4. Note how it conventionally requires an acetylene torch using PURE oxygen at a FOCUSED point using only the TIP of the flame to melt even a SMALL area of steel - the WTC buildings had only AIR (not pure O2), had DIFFUSE heat, and over a LARGE random area - how could anyone think that was sufficient to cause failure of even one piece of steel let alone the ENTIRE steel structure ?!? 5. Jets and cars burn their fuel continuously within confined steel enclosures yet I have never heard of them melting due to this heat. 6. Even if a steel building could collapse due to heat, with a RANDOM fire heating solid structural steel RANDOMLY, I would expect a RANDOM failure leaving some columns collapsed, some columns twisted, some columns bending off to the side, and many columns still standing straight up in the air - NOT a TOTAL crumbling collapse into a nice neat footprint into the ground! Only a planned and focused demolition using explosives set at key structural locations throughout the building could cause this. The fact that you don't need any sophisticated theories or secret evidence to prove this, and the fact that you can simply use everyday logic and experiences along with mainstream media's own videos to expose the falsity of their own pet explanation for 9/11 makes this petition a slam dunk - assuming it is presented to a logical, ethical, and receptive audience (oh, oh).

I am concerned because the buildings seem to fall down with no resistance. The fire fighters report huge pools of molten metal. Normal office fires could not have melted the steel columns. Building 7 falls in 6.6 seconds even though no plane hit it. There were a number of witnesses who reported hearing explosions going off and there is even footage of this. One of the twin towers has some molten metal dripping off of the corner just seconds before the buildings fall, which to me looked like a thermite reaction. Dr Steve Jones of BYU reported that he found unignited thermate in the dust of the towers. There is just too much evidence that is being ignored here. We need a new investigation.

When the second Tower fell as the first, I knew there was a discoverable explanation. One could fall inexplicably for any number of hidden causes or dynamics. When two fall in the same way, there's a reason. I wanted to know that reason. That was the hook. I'm still waiting for that explanation though I believe we have it, controlled demolition. I have always been interested in electronics and architecture. I chose the electronics path. However, I still am fascinated by buildings and their construction and design. I am currently working for a law firm doing networking and software/hardware support.
Being extremely interested in skyscrapers, I was very familiar with the twin towers before Sept. 11. I was also already familiar with the B-25 Bomber that crashed into the Empire State Building back in the 40's so it was perplexing to me that a plane could bring down a building of that size, much less two of them. I never questioned the official statement until I actually started doing some research into it myself and have had my eyes opened completely. Buildings simply do not fall at, or near the rate of gravity from something other than demolition techniques. Please open this up to independent investigation. The people deserve it.

The three elements of that video that caused me to wake up were the visible squibs; the video evidence of explosions in the WTC garage; and especially the manner in which Building 7 came down. My physics classes came back to me and I was reminded of Richard Feynman's quote: For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for nature cannot be fooled. The official story violates the laws of physics in so many obvious ways; and depends on a public willing to overlook these facts in a state of denial or ignorance.

I attended private grade school, high school, and college schools. I have been a full-time software engineer since graduating college in 1992. My professional work experience includes assignments at the corporate offices of three different billion-dollar companies. I have been taught and must utilize at work skills in deduction, prediction, estimation, development, and management.
Having read and viewed discussions of the collapse of the 3 WTC buildings, as well as viewing numerous documentaries provided by network programs such as ABC, NBC, and PBS, I see a vast preponderance of evidence that supports the theory of controlled demolition and not the established pancake theory. Though the evidence is so overwhelming, bringing these issues up to intelligent friends and co-workers only elicits crazed looks and laughs. I can only assume the engineering concepts are too difficult for them to grasp, or they have just blindly believed the smattering of television and magazine articles that push the pancake theory. This is a horrifying concept to me that people can so easily throw their conscience out the window and close their eyes to the truth.

I do not have a background in engineering or physics. However I do have common sense and a basic understanding of the effects of gravity and I feel that the official story doesn't make any sense.
The collapse of all three structures does not appear to have been caused by fires. The violent ejections of building materials from the WTC towers 1 and 2 looked like explosions. It should be obvious even to nonprofessional persons that the 9/11 building collapses were implosions caused by professional demolition experts. All three buildings collapsed symmetrically down upon their own footprints. A truly magnificent job pulled off by a network of evil person(s) and covered up by official investigators.

I grew up in Peoria, IL and attended Illinois State University, receiving a B.S. in Computer Science. Since then, I've worked as an IT consultant for local businesses, a network administrator for a multinational corporation, and started my own IT consulting business.
After examining video footage and scientific data related to the collapse of the World Trade Center buildings, I believe this evidence does not conform to the report offered by the NIST and the generalized consensus that the building fell due to damage incurred by the airplane strikes alone. The collapse of Building 7 is especially concerning. The American people and the people who died that day deserve to see this matter studied further and by an independent investigation.
