To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

When an expert implodes any building to its footprint it is a result of years of experience and several months of preparation. In 9/11 the planes caused irregular damages to both buildings. It is not reasonable to believe that it caused the whole structure to collapse at the same time and with such symmetry. It is even more difficult to believe that that happened not once that day, but three times - one of them even without the impact of a plane.

Past investigations of the WTC collapses were awash in the concealment and destruction of evidence, the suppression and coercion of witnesses, and the utter abandonment of all sound principles of criminal investigation ' in short, a massive obstruction of justice, certainly in the moral sense, and often in the legal sense, as well. As an American citizen, it is now obvious to me that American authorities cannot possibly conduct an unbiased investigation of this matter, because too many of them are already compromised by their own participation in this obstruction of justice. We therefore need an internationally based investigation, on the order of the Nuremberg trials, in order to find the truth and punish the culprits. Such an international investigative body must have full authority to examine all evidence, extract sworn testimony from all witnesses, issue indictments, and try, convict, and sentence the guilty. Because the events of 9/11 were used as a pretext for two international invasions and occupations, everyone worldwide ' and particularly the citizens of Afghanistan and Iraq ' also have a right to demand an unbiased international investigation of the crime and prosecution of the culprits. If such an event in another country were used as a pretext for invading the United States, we ourselves would demand nothing less.

I remember September 11, 2001 very clearly. I had the day off from working as a substitute teacher and I heard on the radio about something happening in New York City. I turned on the television in time to see both towers on fire. I remember shortly afterwards watching as the first of the towers started crumbling. I screamed at Peter Jennings (ABC News anchor) - who seemed oblivious to the building coming down on the screen behind him - to turn around and see what was happening. When the other tower came down a little while later, I was in complete shock. I stayed glued to the television all that day and remember distinctly commentators talking about another building that they thought would be coming down soon. And, sure enough, it came down. (As I learned later that building was WTC 7.) I was still in shock but I can distinctly remember saying to myself over and over, 'I didn't know buildings came down like that.'I didn't give the subject much thought after that. I remember starting to watch a NOVA documentary 'Why The Towers Fell' like a year after the events. The explanation seemed plausible but it made me feel uncomfortable watching it and I turned it off. A few years later a student told me about the 'Loose Change' video and I showed some parts of the video in my History of World War II class in conjunction with a discussion about the controversy surrounding the attack on Pearl Harbor. I remember trying to keep an open mind about the 'Loose Change' video but I was turned off by the sensationalistic nature of the film and the questionability of many of its claims.It wasn't until the summer of 2013 - while I was searching online for documentaries for a class on East Asian Studies that I was preparing - that my eyes were opened to what actually happened on 9/11. I was looking at the website topdocumentaryfilms.com and the site had a Documentary Category called '9/11.' At first I avoided clicking it, thinking there would be more videos like 'Loose Change.' But after about a month I decided to go ahead and click it to see what was there. The first documentary I watched was 'Hy.poth.e.sis' (2010) recounting Prof. Steven Jones's story. I remember saying 'What the f*** is this?' This was nothing like 'Loose Change'! I was immediately hooked and look at all the 9/11 videos on topdocumentaryfilms.com and then went out looking for more. I shortly thereafter found Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth as well as all the good work of so many others. The summer of 2013 was truly an epiphany for me and my life has not been the same ever since. Everything makes much more sense now.

The RB211 engines of a Boeing 757 should have left a much larger footprint at the Pentagon then was visible with the released film clips of the resulting explosion & fire etc..

I saw a seeming credible video from BBC news reporting it's collapse prior to the actual free fall in it's print, of what appeared, to even me a layman, to be a controlled demolition. I could go on & on with other points, proving it all doesn't add up. I also wonder if it's true that certain people affiliated and/or related to Osama Bin Laden were flown out of our country directly afterward, when there was a no fly order for the rest of US? As American citizens, we know we have the right to get to the bottom of this. We expect truth & justice will prevail.

J'rg Schneider was appointed Professor of Structural Engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETHZ) in 1967. He retired in October 1999. Born in Cologne in 1934, he graduated as a civil engineer from the ETHZ in 1958 and worked as a research assistant until 1962. For another four years he worked in industry, where he mainly dealt with the problems of precast and prestressed concrete. As a professor at ETHZ, his research was in the field of safety and reliability in building construction. For many years he was active in various Swiss standardization committees. He was Chairman of the Safety Expert Group of AlpTransit (EGSi) which supported the project management of these two new transalpine railway tunnels in matters of operational safety. He was a member of the Joint Committee on Structural Safety (JCSS) and its President for five years. For many years he was one of the Vice Presidents of the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE). In 1991 he was elected as an individual member of the Swiss Academy of Technical Sciences (SATW). The University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences (Boku) in Vienna awarded him an honorary doctorate degree in 1998 and, finally, he was elected honorary member of IABSE in 2002. In 2000, together with former employees and friends, he founded the engineering office Risk&Safety AG.
Clearly, I cannot believe that the George W. Bush administration willingly sacrificed 3000 lives. I'm not a conspiracy theorist. But I am convinced that the group around Bush gratefully used this terrible event to start the long-planned war on terror. However, there are so many inconsistencies in the official reports on the tragic event and so many gaps, especially in the collapse of WTC7, that only a new independent investigation can confirm or delete suspicions and remove existing ambiguities. I therefore fully agree with the request to have the events re-examined independently. Of course, even a new investigation will not bring people back to life.

I remember watching the event unfold on TV and seeing some of the steel columns sliced off at an angle. Multiple people the day of the event used the words pull it with reference to Building 7. The physical and anecdotal evidence for the destruction of the Twin Towers and Building 7 by some means other than the official cause seems logical to me. The abundance of engineering, architectural, demolition, and first-responder expert opinion about the possible cause of the destruction carries much more weight with me than any of the official reports that have been created.

I was at the University of Missouri-Columbia on Sept. 11th, 2001 studying the Computer Science when the WTC buildings were brought down. I obtained a B.A. in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from the University.
It's painfully obviously that all three WTC buildings to come down that day were brought down intentionally, by means of controlled demolitions. It's a true injustice to the American people that there has not been a public, thorough, deep investigation into the events leading up to, on, and after 9/11/2001. I saw the planes hitting the two WTC buildings on television. After that I saw the collapse of the two buildings and I didn't believe already at that time the planes nor the fire were the reason for the collapse. The Towers collapsed straight into their own footprints and I immediately thought it was controlled demolition. A few years later I saw a documentary and heard about Building 7. This seemed even more like controlled demolition... After that I did research on the net and I mentioned I wasn't the only one who didn't buy the official story.

As a physicist/engineer/chemist type with knowledge up through elementary quantum mechanics, I have watched dozens of recordings of professional building demolitions. There is absolutely NO WAY Building 7 wasn't a professional demolition, because it was NOT struck by any aircraft, observable fires were minor, yet it came straight down into it's own footprint at free-fall speed, as has been described in greater depth elsewhere on this website. The official story, in my personal opinion, is simply a pack of lies, a cover-up which MUST be independently investigated until the real truth is known for the good of the people, with serious legal consequences for whomever the perpetrators were.

I did not need to see the towers fall to know that the official story was outside the ream of possibility. One need not be an engineer to understand the laws of physics. We have all watched the videos and graphics for over a decade. This phenomenon, I have said here before, is called Cognitive Dissonance. In psychology, cognitive dissonance is the discomfort experienced when simultaneously holding two conflicting cognitions: ideas, beliefs, values or emotional reactions. The first concept with which most of us must struggle is what we have been told and shown to have happened hundreds of times - about the hijacked planes. The second concept is what we can plainly deduct when we watch Building 7 fall in an obvious, controlled demolition. The media masses have also seen this video many times by now.

I will never forget watching on television the collapse of the Twin Towers and especially Building 7. I have spent a good deal of time studying/watching building destruction -- the collapse of the penthouse, the uniformity and speed with which it fell -- stunned me. I couldn't understand how this could be because of two airplanes crashing into the Twin Towers.

I have been doing PC/Server networking for over 20 years with a recent transition to Cisco networking products.
I doubt that skyscrapers will come down at near free fall speed, in their own footprint, without the use of explosives. I began questioning the dominant media theory of planes causing the destruction of the WTC buildings when looking into the collapse of Building 7. No planes had hit it, fires were small and spread out on different floors, and then there was the Silverstein comments. He told viewers that the building was pulled'. Why would he use the term pull unless demolition was involved. This would obviously require months of planning if true. I learned a great deal and cried for several years later, and still continue, when I heard the heart breaking story of a man determined to save his friends at the top of the North tower. William Rodriquez was in the building when he heard and felt explosions from below the WTC moments before the plane hit above. He told how David Felipe ran to him in shock explaining what he just encountered while standing near an elevator shaft. To Williams' shock David was standing there with blood and melted skin from face, hands and arms, where the flames had engulfed him. William had the courage, and the only key, to assist the firefighters up many flights of the North Tower to save people. He could not rescue his friends. What saddened me the most is this gripping story was told to the commissioners of the 9/11 investigation but not one word of it was in their report. To top it off the audacity of those heartless folks, if possible, a former federal prosecutor and mayor told a panel of commissioners that he did not know anyone wanted the materials from the WTC site so that a proper forensic investigation could be performed. This person, Rudolph Giuliani, with all his credentials and know how did not seek any such recommendations as can be clearly found in NFPA 921? Wow, is this a fictional movie what? Yours truly,

The explanation given for WTC7 is not sufficient. The report must give detailed explanation that is independently verified. 1. Office fires melting Steel support beams is not a theory that was independently verified. 2. The theory that all support beams failed concurrently from the office fires has not been independently verified. 3. The entire structure was completely destroyed leaving no intact stub. This means that the melting was applied uniformly to the structure at all levels. The theory that office fires could uniformly melt the support structures has not been independently verified. 4. The official report is incomplete because super-thermite was found in the dust from the WTC yet it was not accounted for in the report. 5. The official report is incomplete because testimony of explosions were ignored or thrown out. 6. The official report is incomplete because molten steel at the crime scene was not investigated. 7. The official report is incomplete because the investigation illegally discarded crime scene evidence including structural debris before it was investigated and documented.

I am most concerned with the scientific fact that office fires and jet fuel can NOT burn hot enough to melt steel and the apparent cover up of the molten metal on that day. Despite the physical evidence and eye witness testimony of molten steel pooling, the government's report omits this information as if it were not relevant. This concerns me deeply.

I'm half American half Kuwait living in Kuwait as of now. I was raised 15 years of my life in the US and left in 2003 to live in Kuwait.
9/11 in my opinion was one of the biggest crimes of the Century. The fact that no outside country around the world has stood up and openly questioned the validity of that day is especially alarming. Building 7 isn't an issue of Possible foul play and manipulation, but it is one that when the laws of Physics are applied is utterly an impossible occurrence.

I have always shared the opinion with the initial observers of the events that it looked like a controlled demolition on all three accounts. I've never felt any official explanations remotely compelling. Evidence arrives or develops yearly that strengthens this hypothesis, and from a scientific perspective, I think that the controlled demolition model is the only one shown so far that has any basis in fact (in Dawkinese, I'd consider it a theorum).
