On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I am a scientist and engineer. My BS degree is in electronics engineering. I work with analytical instrumentation used to measure elements and chemical compounds. (Gas Chromatography, Liquid Chromatography, Mass Spectrometers, Atomic Absorption Spectrometers, and Inductively Coupled Plasma- Atomic Emission Spectrometers.) These instruments are used in water, food, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, forensic, military, environmental, and university research laboratories. We prove every analysis is valid by running independent standards. The results of an analysis can be used in a court of law. I am also a volunteer fireman.
Currently, there are 2,800 architects and engineers, and over 20,000 US citizens that have signed a petition requesting the US government to reinvestigate the events that occurred on 9/11/2001. (Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth.) These architects, engineers, and US citizens assert that the official report of what occurred that day is not supported by the evidence. They are simply requesting that the details surrounding the events of that day be investigated properly. The fact that the US mainstream media has not examined and reported these assertions shows that the news we receive from mainstream media is incomplete, and therefore unreliable. The details and assertions of the petition are articulated in many books, and videos. These include the presence of molten metal and incendiary material, near perfect symmetric destruction of three steel and concrete buildings, and near free fall collapse. There are also many other questions about the events that occurred on 9/11 including how a passenger plane got through a 50 mile no fly zone and was able to crash into the defense headquarters for the Unites States of America with the military on high alert. No clear picture has been released of the plane that was able to crash into the defense headquarters for the United States of America. All together these facts prove that the official version of 9/11 is incomplete. There are also numerous other organizations that question the official version of events that occurred on 9/11. These include Pilots for 9/11 Truth, Scholars for 9/11 Truth, and Firefighters for 9/11 Truth.

I was formally trained by the government in aerospace technology: airframe structures, hydraulic and pneumatic power systems and the materials and methods for repairing and replenishing these systems. I was also trained and refreshed annually in aircraft firefighting. I was involved in aircraft accident recovery efforts and reconstruction. I worked as an aircraft corrosion specialist dealing with composition and subsequent treatment of metal alloys and their deterioration properties. This included metals subjected to many different stresses such as heat, vibration, acids, salts, biological attacks, and deterioration due to improper alloying.
Based on my past experience with aircraft fuel fires and their documented effect on metal structures, I simply cannot accept the official version of what happened to the three buildings that fell on 9/11. Given the temperature at which jet fuel burns, and the quantity involved in this particular incident, I believe it is patently impossible for it to heat a steel structure of the kind found in WTC buildings 1, 2, and 7 to the point of catastrophic, free-fall collapse such as was exhibited by all three of these buildings on that day. I have personally witnessed mild-steel structures subjected to repeated applications of burning jet fuel over the course of days and weeks with no significant damage resulting to these much weaker structures. There is simply no logical reason to accept the NIST evaluation of the fuel fires on 9/11.

Free-fall acceleration is -9.8m/sec^2. The only way there could've been free fall with buildings 1, 2 and 7, is if the buildings were intentionally demolished. They fell within free-fall times, so it is conclusive that the WTC towers were demolished intentionally.

I am a technical person, although I do not have skills in the engineering of metal structures, I am not stupid. The investigation by NIST was remiss on many levels; not looking for evidence because they did not think it was there....Please. In mathematics this is assuming what you are trying to prove... makes it pretty easy. Further, the 9/11 Commission publicly stated that there was no reason to follow the money .... well only if you do not want the TRUTH!

Today an independent researcher from Norway says he can explain why the Twin Towers fell. He says the aluminum of the plane melted to liquid, mixed with water and caused explosions. How about the thermite dust found at Ground Zero? The stuff should not be there, military grade explosive. Why did Building 7 go down??? There was never any aluminum in that building. No plane hit Building 7. Never have had an explanation of that. Lack of wreckage at Pentagon and in Pennsylvania.

It's plain to see that if a skyscraper were compared to an 18-wheeler, that you could easily compare a jetliner with a beer can full of jet fuel. I couldn't imagine a beer can full of jet fuel traveling at any speed taking out a semi.

There are many, many problems with the official version of what happened on that day. A great source of material in this regard is the excellent book 9/11 Contradictions, An Open Letter to Congress and the Press by David Ray Griffin. For the preservation of our democracy, the evidence from the destruction of all the buildings must be followed wherever it may lead.

After studying economics at university I subsequently went on the various careers including apparel manufacturer field sales, project management of office/school furniture and auditorium/stadium seating installation and, most recently, IT sales for a large data storage company. I am by no means an architect or engineer, but my rudimentary understanding of physics tells me that the official story as to why the Towers collapsed does not seem to me to mesh with reality. Retired computer tech who on Sept 12 went to work only to hear that myself and about 270 others were to be laid off, and about 30 days later we were laid off. I am not blaming the lay-off on 9/11 but just kinda of an interesting side note that affected my fellow married techs a lot. I am single so I had a lot easier time with it.
I thought as I watched the 9/11 collapse's on TV, that something was really wrong with the way those buildings came down and I thought it was clearly some type of explosion. I don't even think you have to be an engineer to see what was obvious.

I am a concerned citizen who feels the truth behind the events of 9/11 have been obfuscated from the American people. I do not have formal training as an architect or engineer, but I do understand enough about the laws of physics that I have questioned the nature of the destruction of all 3 towers from day one.
From the first time I saw the towers free-falling on live TV, I have been questioning how these buildings could have imploded at freefall speed within their own footprint. Given the laws of physics, the buildings should have toppled over to the side due to the nature of the asymmetrical hits to both buildings. And given the temperatures that are required to weaken steel structures enough to collapse, the buildings should have withstood the burning of jet fuel. Even if the steel at the top had been weakened enough to collapse, we should have only seen a partial collapse of the tops of the buildings, perhaps collapsing a few floors together or having part of one side topple over outside the building footprint. Seeing the steel beams amongst the wreckage that show shear cuts at a 45 degree angle are indicative of charges placed on steel beams in controlled demolitions. There are just too many questions left unanswered by the first investigation. The American people, especially those whose lives were lost that day or thereafter as a result of the ensuing wars, deserve to know the truth.

To my eye the controlled demolition of the WTC and building is blatantly obvious. I demand a proper investigation.

It does seem to me through common sense and being present at a few big building demolitions such as casinos in Nevada and the King Dome in Seattle. When a big structure comes down it is an amazing sight and one you soon do not forget. When I first was able to see the WTC footage it did have a very similar look to what I have seen through my experiences of a controlled demolition. Yes I know I'm no where an expert on demolition. But being a 3D Artist I have to be very well educated and understand building design and structure. I have to make objects in 3D look and feel as though they are from the real world. I have also taken many classes in college on architecture and hard surface design. Also I know I have never seen a non controlled demolition. I just would like to know the truth about all of this and if the truth is being told to the people why does it seem that we the people are not getting the full truth when asking about this subject. If we as Americans are asked to come together at times like this and help others why are we not told the entire truth about what we are suppose to be helping with. I'm just saying. In other words I'm just being smart and asking questions on a subject before I can decide for myself on what really happened on that unfortunate and terrible day.

I was a helicopter mechanic and crew chief for eight years leading up to 9/11. During 9/11, I worked as a maintenance engineer at California Pacific Medical Center. Now I am entering the field of the Green Electrician.
No steel building in history has ever collapsed from fire. Building 7 appears to be the first ever according to the Official account. This MUST be investigated! Just watch the footage and see, in plain view, the typical characteristics of a CONTROLLED DEMOLITION!

I do not believe that WTC 1, 2 or 7 collapsed from fire. The evidence I have seen suggests to me that they collapsed as a result of explosives.

I do not believe what the US Government has said about the 9/11 incidents. We need a proper independent investigation, with complete honesty. Everyone must be brought forward and be under oath to testify. Proper punishment should be given to all those complicit.

Not an engineer, but I am very passionate about another investigation to answer many glaring physics problems with the official NIST report.
Watching buildings fall at the speed of gravity because of fires does not sit well with me. We need to know why these buildings fell so fast and the official NIST report does not explain the causes of the collapse. A new investigation would make me feel safer, I do not want future buildings to collapse from fire and we need to arm our engineers with this information on how to make them safer.

I studied Political Science at the University of Texas at San Antonio, but my career has taken me more and more into computers/networking, to the point where teaching those skills is now my primary passion. I also have a healthy skepticism, born of and supported by fusing both liberal and technical arts in my life. Be it the Kennedy Assassination, or the Twin Towers (...and Building 7), I know when something smells rotten in the U.S., and I'm not afraid of worrying that bone until I get answers.
I don't believe, even for a minute, that the Towers were anything but an inside job, a new 'Pearl Harbor' designed outright to motivate U.S. citizens to a patriotic war footing. It happened too fast, was covered-up too quickly, and left the odious stench of foul play in our own house. I've seen too many essays and treatises from too many knowledgeable people who agree that the official story does not square with published architectural and engineering, or even military fact. It could not have happened as we were told. What's really missing?
