To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The acute similarity between the collapse of the twin towers and building 7 on 9/11/01 to typical controlled high-rise building demolitions simply does not allow me to accept the official United States government story. Further, it seems to me that the weakened areas of the buildings where the airplanes impacted, upon failing, would have caused the building structure above the point of impact to topple about the point of impact, rather than fall as a they did in the manner of a controlled demolition.

You would have as much success melting steel with ice cubes as you would with jet fuel. I must concur that all of the tenets of the AE911truth.org arguments for a controlled demolition of the WTC buildings 1, 2 and 7, if truthful, are all valid reasons for a more comprehensive investigation as to what actually caused the collapse of the WTC buildings 1, 2, and 7 on September 11th, 2001. I would further state that simply one of these tenets would be enough for a reinvestigation of the destruction, and that, combined, they make an overwhelming case for a reinvestigation. The implications of these allegations are far reaching and disturbing. I feel it is our duty as public servants to seek truth and in this case to expose a conspiracy that threatens not only liberty and freedom but all of the lives of the inhabitants of this planet. If this is in fact the case, I am surprised you are even allowed to speak or be heard.

It definitely appears that Bldg #7 was a controlled demolition along with the other towers. It was announced on TV that #7 was going to come down and I also saw a clip of Larry Silverstein say pull it, which is a demolition term. Popular Mechanics said it was brought down by fire, which is totally contradictory to what the news and silverstein said. How could all these explosives be set for #7 between 11AM and 5:20PM? It takes weeks of planning to set explosives for demolition. This leads me to believe that the explosives were set long before 9/11. The fact that the ground was still burning up to 3 months after is also an indication that jet fuel was not the culprit. Witnesses said there was greenish smoke coming from the ground and some rescue workers said there shoes were melting. What happened to all the office furniture and door knobs in the buildings?

Born in Seattle, Washington, in 1978, I was raised by my parents who always taught me to seek the truth and to be honest with myself and those around me through all my endeavors. My father was the City Planner/Developer of the town in which I grew up, and he had a keen sense of the engineering field as well as the mathematics, physics and science behind it all. I'd like to believe that he passed that sense on to me and that I have been able to develop it through education and experience in the field. I cannot offer technical support, so I offer support to the goal of an independent re-investigation of 9/11. Physical evidence, visually, chemically, and professional technical testimony points to a controlled demolition of the three WTCs buildings. The evidence that causes me not to believe in the official story is the 45 degree angle the steel beams where cut, the almost free fall of the buildings, the squibs of smoke timed ahead of the fall appear explosive, the fall of WTC7 is unexplained. The Bush administration and White House official's actions are that of the guilty covering up. The list goes on.

When I first started reading the information contained on the AE911truth.org website and found thermite being mentioned, I was immediately intrigued. After watching Experts Speak Out... I am very intrigued as to why evidence of thermite and explosives has been ignored, and especially why NIST never even looked for evidence of explosives. I believe that the truth has been hidden from the people of the United States and that that truth must now be reveled by a proper, independent, scientific investigation. I grew up loving science. My father minored in Chemistry at St. Johns University (MN) and I received my first chemistry set at age 10 as a Christmas gift. From there, my father began to relive his days as a chemist and we proceeded to put together a fairly substantial chemistry lab in our basement, much to the dismay of my Mom. We performed many of the typical experiments that younger kids would enjoy, reactions that produced brilliant colors or lots of bubbles. My father always made sure we wrote out the chemical equations and also made sure we understood why these specific reactions were occurring, chemically. We eventually graduated into more violent reactions, igniting balloons mixed with various types of gases at different concentrations, etc. That was when I came across a table of reactions and their associated heat output, in one of my father's old chemistry books. As a younger kid, I of course immediately scrolled to the bottom to see what was the HOTTEST! I remember mentioning thermite to my father and he described the reaction and how thermite was used in the real world.

I have doubt whether the official 9-11 statement is true. I saw the fall of WTC7 many times on video and I am convinced that this can only be a controlled demolition. Even if the other buildings where destroyed through the impact of airplanes it does not apply to Building 7 which was never hit by any airplane.

I was born and raised in New York City and don't think I'll ever be able to live somewhere else. Too many experts agree - if we want to preserve truth, justice and the American way we need a new investigation based on scientific evidence, public testimony and document discovery. A standard police investigation was never done in NYC and I think New York has an obligation to investigate the situation.

I have had 30 years experience in professional software engineering. I also took a foundation year in Systems Design engineering at University of Waterloo, Ontario, in which statics and dynamics, and structural forces were examined in great detail.
From my UW engineering studies alone it was always clear to me that three giant steel-frame buildings - one of which (WTC7), a 47 story building reinforced for Giuliani's office, was constructed in a completely different way from the others - cannot collapse through aircraft fuel heat. Since the temperature not hot enough, it would be a freak occurrence, violating the laws of physics, if even one collapsed like so much oatmeal. So for all three - one of which (WTC7) not even suffering any structural damage - to fall as if demolished from the inside - is impossible. It isn't just far fetched, it's completely impossible. It therefore proves the buildings were wired up for demolition - a suspicion given further weight by other factors, like a loaded truck full of gold ready to flee from underneath WTC4 and a hundred other factors. This was a crime; it was a massacre, and the culprits are dangerous men: they need to be tracked down and kept away from society.

My education, technical knowledge doesn't agree that a high-rise like WTC can free-fall as in a demolition, when only the top was hit by a plane. As an Engineer, I've never compromised quality, stability at work. Any product or program I've designed so far is the best in class. Same way, I believe that the WTC engineers/builders are the best, and they would never build something as weak as shown on TV !! Definitely the conspiracy to bring down the WTC itself shows the way it was demolished. Otherwise, the building would take a very long time to fall due to fire. And when that would happen its definitely from the side where fire impact is huge and the collapse will be beyond its own footprint and probably into adjacent buildings.

The probability of three steel framed buildings, without exactly identical damage or construction, completely collapsing at near the acceleration of gravity on the same day is, by itself, far beyond statistical expectation. From a scientific and engineering point-of-view, the cause for these collapses cries out for a thorough and objective investigation.

The events of 9/11 are extraordinary and represent a serious miscalculation of unprecedented proportions on the part of its perpetrators. Because, any engineer or architect, or anyone else with a degree in science, must accept that in the case of 9/11 very basic questions have been left unanswered in a way that cannot be easily excused. The mere fact that the NIST report fails to explain the collapse is sufficient evidence that the incident has not been duly investigated let alone conclusively explained. And so much evidence is available capable of being communicated uncensored through the internet. However, and as I have witnessed so often in my career, even the most accomplished professionals when faced with the daunting prospect of realizing that they have been duped systematically, prefer to opt for willful ignorance rather than accept the burden of understanding uncomfortable truths. In the case of the demolition of buildings it would seem hardly possible for anyone with any technical training to bury their heads in the sand ignoring: freefall speed, pulverization of concrete, severing of beams, twisting of beams, complete stand down of the military defense, chemical signatures of specialized incendiaries, molten metal, etc., etc.. None of these have been explained in a rigorous scientific manner by the official story. Therein lies the seed of success for A&E, which asks nothing more than a full independent investigation be undertaken. It is the tremendous moral burden inherent in abandoning one's own perception, supported by sound science and fact, that hopefully will compel scientists all over the world to investigate the evidence and join the movement.

I grew up in Berne and mostly lived there until now. I visited all schools here including university. I am interested in mathematics (including computer science), physics and history. I think the official version is very doubtful. Even if there would have been some local structural failure the Towers themselves would have never been come down -- and never in this way.

I got married a few days after 9/11, and fortified an extended honeymoon to be able to get back to work and help restore connectivity to NYC. I spent the rest of September through late October working long hours at the Municipal Credit Union, helping them bring up a temporary site and getting WAN connectivity for ATM's working again.
When I saw the Towers go down live on TV my gut reaction was controlled demolition. After watching videos of WTC7 go down in free fall speeds, I knew instinctively that the building was professionally demolished. I am surrounded by otherwise intelligent people that belittle my views on this. The end of the AE911Truth video that explains why many people have cognitive dissonance on 9/11 was very helpful. I now understand why many people don't want their world view challenged.
