PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I worked at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory on the MAGELLAN Venus Probe in Navigation Systems. I ran computer simulations of deep-space trajectories for orbit accuracy analysis studies. Additionally, I worked at Rockwell International Space Systems for two years on the Space Shuttle, in Ground Support Systems. I worked for five years at Ford Motor Company, Transmissions and Chassis Division in product engineering for the E4OD, the transmission that went into F-series and E-series trucks. While at Harvard, I worked at the Boston Heart Foundation, testing a prototype computerized blood pressure monitor. I created an educational 3D animation of the embryologic heart for Harvard Medical School's Center for Education Technology as well. I am currently working as a teacher while I blog at Powers and Morrison, develop an educational system I began research on while at Harvard, and am a writer.

It is my opinion that a more complete and thorough FEA survey than the one I performed will help erode the credibility of the 9-11 report of record, and provide political pressure to bring those responsible for the 9-11 murders to trial. I'm an EE, Lamar University 1988. Moved to Vienna Austria in the early 90's. I've run my own consulting firm since 1994. We make software systems for industrial clients, specializing in refinery finished product blending advanced process control and optimization, as well as power generation. I don't work in construction (although I did back in the US), but the physics and math presented to refute the claims of NIST are simple enough for me to understand.
I don't know what happened, but having read quite a bit, and watched quite a few videos, it is clear that the official story is not true. We need a new investigation. Particularly easy to follow is the WTC 7 situation, 2.5 seconds of free-fall, after it was NOT hit by a plane and only had office furniture burning for some hours. No variables in that situation lead to free fall destruction of a steel frame skyscraper. It's collapse by fire is just not physically possible. Very many factors in WTC 1 and 2 also need a new investigation, but WTC 1 and 2 are (obviously) more complex than WTC 7.

I've seen a dozen documentaries on the 9/11 truth scenario and they very convincingly show and tell how the WTC buildings, including Building 7, could not have collapsed the way they did (in some 8 seconds?) because airplanes hit them near the top. It is apparently a matter of physics that steel can't heat up that much or that fast from the initial burning of jet fuel on the top floors to take down the entire buildings in a short time. I was also concerned about how all the evidence of the melted beams on ground zero was removed so quickly, almost over night, so that they couldn't be adequately examined. Then there was the taped voices of the firefighters who heard explosives going off as they were working on the ground floor or the lower floors. There was so much compelling evidence for demolition -- it's all in the documentaries on this subject available to anyone I think.

Upon hours and hours of video review and listening to other professionals regarding the 911 events, it is clear to me that the story I have been lead to believe requires further investigation. That is to say, the pancake collapse theory that is being suggested by FEMA & NIST. Revisiting these videos years after, has allowed me to look at these events with a non-emotional point of view. My understanding of the laws of physics, structural dynamics, mechanics of materials, knowledge of explosive devices as well as the energy required to turn concrete into dust, suggest that there were in fact large amounts of high explosive devices used to bring the towers down.

I am a software engineer who majored in Computer Science and minored in Information Science. I attained my associate's degree in 2009 while working on my bachelor's. I left college and pursued a career in software engineering after completing all technical courses required for my bachelor's, not wanting to pay for 'filler' courses to attain the degree.
After doing much research on the 3 WTC building collapses, I decided to do the math myself, as there is much debate on the topic. I have concluded that the buildings did indeed collapse at near free fall speeds while traveling through the path of most resistance and finally landing in their own footprint as they fell vertically with little horizontal trajectory. The findings of molten metal and thermitic residue in the buildings remains by multiple, independent, and credible sources drastically add to the question: What really happened that day? There is more than enough evidence to support the need for an independent study to determine how and why the 3 WTC skyscrapers collapsed in the fashion they did.

Having spent many hours viewing video recordings of the event from many different angles, it looks clear to me that the WTC could not possibly have simply collapsed at nearly free-fall speed. It was obvious on the day this happened that the twin towers were a controlled demolition. Being a New Yorker I have seen this kind of demolition many times. As I watched the towers go down I knew what had happened. At that point I still believed we were learning the truth from the news media. Over the years watching what has happened as a result of this one incident I became more and more aware that we were lied to and the why. How do you take a free people's rights and freedoms away... have them exchange it for security.. and they will have neither. Further study proved the lies continue on this event. I've been a software engineer in several fortune 500 companies for over 30 years.
It was clear to me that something wasn't right when Building 7 fell. Never in the history of skyscrapers have any fallen due to a fire (jet fuel initiated or not) and never has a skyscraper fallen into its own footprint. It takes weeks of planning and precisely placed and timed explosives to bring a building down into its own footprint. Yet we are told to believe that not one, not two, but three skyscrapers came down into their own footprint in the same location caused by a plane crash and the ensuing fire. Oh, and pay no attention to the fact that no plane hit Building 7. It really doesn't take an expert to figure out that something is seriously wrong with this whole scenario. A serious independent investigation should have been done 13 years ago. What are the government and powers-that-be afraid of if their 'official story' is accurate?

I know it is impossible for the towers and wtc7 to have collapsed the way they did without resistance being removed as they fell. The near free-fall speed and uniformity of the collapse show that something (most likely explosives, as Steven Jones has shown) had to be used to remove that resistance. The towers and wtc7 would have slowed as they collapsed had the collapse been due to gravity alone. Also the collapse would have slowed quite rapidly - there would be no energy available for them to collapse to ground level as they did.

My Computer Science education and experience, combined with countless hours of 9/11 research, has provided me with more than sufficient proof that the reporting of all 9/11 events, by both government and media, were deliberately false and misleading.

I have long believed that the destruction of the buildings was deliberate simply by the manner in which the buildings collapsed. I feel that there needed to be a reason for us to go to war and pass bills that remove our individual liberties and the U.S. government used the 9/11 'attacks' as this 'reason'. The amount of money that has been spent and the length of the current war are red flags in my opinion that this was not an outside terrorist attack.

Please look at David Handshuh's (NY Post) photo from the plane impact. He snapped a photo at the moment of collision from directly below the impact. It shows an explosion. Before long, the smoke formed a 1 mile diameter mushroom cloud.Many people believe it was Jet A fuel, however, that's IMPOSSIBLE.Jet A fuel does not explode at sea level under ANY CONDITION.This is not my opinion only. This is 40 years of data collected by FAA, DOT, NTSB, Army Corp of Engineers, NASA and Caltech~Jet A is Non-flammable. A Review of the Flammability Hazard of Jet AFAA-DOT Office of Aviation Research. Conclusions presented by the NIST does not make sense to anyone who has ever tried to collect the facts about 9/11. All people just deserve the investigation that would produce credible outcomes based on all facts known so far and considering and respecting natural science laws. All tragic events of 9/11 should be reopened and re-investigated in favor of all of us and our children.

Very curious...could the Taliban have gotten into the buildings early and set these charges? Especially Building 7? It concerns me that the evidence was taken away so quickly, leaving people to believe it was our government to blame for this! Now I am confused. In the absence of contradictory scientific evidence from the Government of the United States of America; evidence which is to say can refute the clearly accurate scientific research and findings delivered by AE911truth.org which is also supported by the findings and an abundance of other independent scientific investigators; I demand that The Government of the United States of America turn over any and all evidence, documents, statements, video and audio recordings and all other components connected to the attacks which took place on September 11th, 2001, to a qualified non-Governmental body for full review and to conceit to the fact that the report by The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States is a 20+ million dollar fairytale. The North American Public on behalf of all those who lost their lives on 9/11 and in the subsequent war in Afghanistan should file a motion to have 9/11 Commission Chairman Thomas Kean, and those who support him, charged with treason!

Building 7's rapid, symmetrical collapse appears to involve controlled demolition and does not evidence the kind of gradual, organic fall that a failed column or two would be expected to cause (in a natural collapse one might expect a portion of the structure to sag, leaving one or both ends slumped inward but upright). The twin towers appear to be ripped apart and uniformly pulverized rather than simply falling due to failed upper floors slamming down. The dust plume is too pervasive and exceeds the expected amount of powderization that would likely occur in reinforced concrete flooring suffering a 'pancake' collapse. The temperature experienced at street level and in molten wreckage indicates a tremendous release of heat energy at a time when plane fuel fires had burned low.

I am an educated, middle class American. I have studied countless videos from 9/11/2001, particularly those relating to the controlled demolition of WTC Building 7.
Based on the countless witness videos recorded from that day, as well as the detailed accounts of NORAD personnel, it is apparent that the events of 9/11/2001 have yet to fully come to light. The Twin Towers, as well as WTC Building 7, were all in fact controlled demolitions, as indicated by the near free fall speeds of their destruction.
