PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have a Diploma in Building Control/Building Surveying and I am a retired Member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers. I was employed within local authority building control and had responsibility for ensuring that building work within an area of central London complied with UK building regulations. It is beyond credibility for the twin towers WTC1 and WTC2 and for building WTC7 to have all collapsed in such an unpredictable and totally unprecedented manner. All three had failure characteristics which defy logical explanation unless controlled demolition is considered. The observed fire and impact loads have all been shown by independent professional investigation to be well within the design parameters of each building and that total collapse should not have occurred in any one of them never mind all three. It is time for politicians and the media to carry out their public duty and call for a new and impartial public investigation where all the evidence both for and against the official position can be seen and heard.

I have no reason to believe that the Bush admin. (or any other for that matter) are any more honest or innocent than say the brutal Roman powers 2000 years ago, amongst a whole slew of other corrupt governmental powers throughout our collective history (including many that are currently in power throughout the world). I think it is quite clear, or rather glaringly obvious, that something happened on 9/11 that 'they' don't want us to know, and I'm pretty sure We as The People are not going to be too happy when it is finally revealed, if (and that's a big if) it is ultimately revealed at all.

I have been a web programmer for 18 years. I am trained to think critically and logically; my job on a daily basis is to analyze everything. Building a program can be a lot like building a skyscraper, I suppose. There has to be solid foundation throughout the program to ensure it won't fall and crumble.
It took me a long time to consider it a possibility that this was a planned attack from within. I've been on the fence for a long, long time. But after seeing this video I have 110% fallen to the side of foul play. The science says it all. I believed the official story at first but always questioned the lack of debris at the Pentagon, and lack of debris and people at the rural crash site. I also remember being struck with the free falling building and the ash that looked exactly like a volcano ash, not that of a building falling because the structure was weakened by fire. My father owned an auto-body repair shop and I have melted steel with an oxy-acetylene torch. It takes an amazing amount of energy to melt steel, not something that normal fuel could do which is why we needed oxygenated gases to melt even the smallest of iron parts.

It is and was physically impossible for these building to fall at free fall speeds (the official record also stated free fall speeds) unless they were professional demoed using explosives. Something had to remove the resistance. If nothing else all of America should at least question the official story, because it contains many discrepancies. The fact that this is the first time in history a steel building collapsed by fire alone on a day filled with controversy is hard for me to believe. The fact that they found traces of thermite informs me this was a controlled demolition. When I visited WTC a month after the attack it was still smoking which is odd considering the blast was 77 floors up.

I disagree that the towers would fall at the speed of gravity if they had only been hit with airplanes. The squibs, the evidence of thermite, the previous explosions at the base minutes before any plane had hit all point to the truth; which does not coincide with the official story. I remember September 11th 2001 even if I'm Canadian and if I'm not living in the United-States. I remember where I was that day. I remember the moment when I heard about the first plane that crashed on the World Trade Center building. I quickly turned on the tv and I was astonished to see a second plane to hit an another building. I first thought that it was a terrorist attack. But I was totally stunned to see the buildings to collapse so quickly. I immediately thought that something was wrong and that a plane crash, even a violent one, could not cause a so quick collapse of the building. During the following years, I couldn't understand that. This is why it was easy for me to believe what the experts of AE911Truth are saying and I'm grateful to them because they provide me the understanding that was lacking on September 11th 2001.

To my mind, the smoking gun of 9/11 is not only Building 7--which fell, to the best I can surmise, to 'peer pressure'--but the molten steel that was reported by rescue workers and cleanup crews to be found in pools at the base of the debris for several days. This molten metal is also seen in videos spraying in jets from the side of the building. There are pictures of this molten metal in the cleanup pictures--you may recall the iconic picture of a loader holding a glowing orange girder being pulled dripping from a pool of magma. This is a smoking gun because it defies physics: the fuel, materials present were not sufficient to melt steel because they did not burn hot enough. Nor does the 'heat concentration' hypothesis fit due to the 2nd law of thermodynamics and the heat conductivity property of steel, inasmuch as this law directly indicates that the steel lattice would behave 'not unlike the fins of a computer's CPU heat sink'--they would too quickly disperse that heat energy through a much larger structure. Finally, one thing that's never talked about is the enthalpy of fusion, which is the 'additional energy requirement' to change the phase of the steel from a solid to a liquid. This is chemistry 101, an experiment where you take the temperature of ice as you melt it and it remains constant. The tremendous amount of energy melts the ice but the temperature remains the same. That is because the additional energy is used in changing the phase of the material. Ice takes quite a lot of heat due to a high enthalpy of fusion value of water. Steel has a far lower value than water, but it's still high enough to cause an extremely high requirement of additional heat to overcome the enthalpy of fusion, and melt. No one talks about this, but it's just science. My point is this: the molten metal betrays a simple fact in science-- a heat higher than was present in those towers is the *cine qua non* for a molten metal; making the official story of oxygen-deprived office fires quite obviously a red-herring. This story is similar to saying that a sugar packet fueled a marathon runner for several days. It's the case of the missing kilocalories, worthy of Sherlock Holmes. Someone get Watson on the phone because we are on the case.
