PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Have been designing building structures for 35 years both in the UK and the Middle East with local UK based consultancies and with a large project management company in Saudi Arabia. For the last 14 years, I have owned and run a structural design consultancy in Edinburgh, UK specializing in steel framed, masonry and timber building designs.
From the outset, watching the collapses on television, it was clear there were very serious questions to be asked about how three robust steel framed buildings collapsed into their own footprints, one of which had not been struck by an aircraft and had been subject to a relatively minor fire. Given the evidence from multiple witnesses regarding explosions in the buildings before and after the planes struck, the stand-down of the US air force, the admission by the owner of the buildings of the decision to demolish Building 7, the immediate removal of structural evidence, the high temperature fires in the basements, the evidence for explosive residues in dust and obvious unwillingness of US authorities to offer a reasoned and full engineering explanation for the collapses. Since 911, the two relevant UK engineering institutions have failed to provide an analysis or to offer advice to structural engineers on progressive collapse and fire protection in steel framed buildings in complete contrast to previous serious building collapses. In my opinion, the official report on the collapses, or any other that I am aware of was entirely inadequate and should be reopened to fully investigate the reasons for these building failures and offer advice and guidance on limiting risk in future, and existing, structures.

As a Reliability and Quality Engineer for over 30 years, I was required to consider all of the facts associated with any engineering failure. Disciplines that required my constant awareness are design integrity, manufacturing defects, environmental exposure, life limiting factors, etc.
I was acutely aware of Engineering Cost Analysis and Life Cycle Cost Analysis, with many post graduate courses in these disciplines. My career was heavily biased toward statistical analysis and Warranty Cost Forecasting, requiring me to consider all possibilities, emphasizing the likelihood that the less likely events should be considered less heavily. Perhaps, this is why I was extremely reluctant to even consider the possibility that 9/11 could have been a staged event. What is the chance that our own government could pull that off and get away with it? I pondered. When I was confronted with the facts, and I considered the reality that the temperatures of jet fuel combustion do not support the suggested failure modes posed by the government's official report, I was forced into a paradigm shift. This reality has changed my entire perspective on the groups that I had previously dismissed as emotional, uneducated fools. I was wrong and I am grateful to the 9/11 Truthers for holding me accountable for the Truth! Now, I too am a 9/11 Truther. The facts about the collapse of three WTC buildings on 9/11/2001 just do not support the theory posed by the PBS Report, or the US Government's publication. There must be further explanation to satisfy my hunger for the truth about the horrible realities of the WTC and Pentagon murders. As an engineer, as a patriot, as citizen of the United States of America, I demand that the government which is accountable to its citizens appoint an independent commission to investigate and report on the Truth of 9/11/2001.

The fact was already established after the bombing investigation that the buildings were originally built and inundated with asbestos protective coating, recognized as dangerous hazardous material even then. All the beam structures were coated in this covering and removal would have taken many years and billions($) in losses due to the closed buildings. The WTC towers and adjoining buildings were essentially condemned for the hazardous asbestos content, now killing the first responders (although squelched by the media). When I watched the buildings fall on 9/11, no mention was made of the dynamic stabilization dampers originally built as an afterthought on the upper levels of the building, consisting of concrete and steel and weighing 400,000lbs each. The force of these huge weights was essential to the planned and carefully controlled 'footprint' demolition. The 9/11 wives were paid for their silence and contractually obligated to never ask questions. Beverly Eckert, leader of the 9/11 wives group, publicly questioned the official report for its lies and inaccuracies, never took the pay-off. Eckert sued the government and consistently lobbied for a legitimate investigative commission. She died suspiciously in a very suspect plane crash, immediately after personally meeting with Obama and cabinet members and disclosing her plans to take her concerns and inside knowledge of the fraud to the public and the media.

Our active 9/11 group has hosted Robert Bowman, David Ray Griffin, Cindy Sheehan, and in Sept., Kevin Ryan as speakers to enlighten and inform the local population. I have had an AE 911 Truth bumper sticker on my car for over a year. I just finished Hal Sisson's Modus Operandi, and though it is fiction, it sure offers a lot of plausible explanations for how 9/11 happened. I listened to Paul Zarembka recently on Guns and Butter, and wow, he has a lot to say as well. A lot of good information out there, people need to get it. Donating to NYC CAN to help their effort--how I wish the mainstream media would pay attention to that drama instead of the stupid crap they focus on! I have a very good understanding of how buildings are constructed and how they behave under the influence of outside forces. Most buildings are constructed with redundancies so that they don't collapse catastrophically.
It is virtually impossible for WTC building 7 to collapse as it did with the influence of sporadic fires. This collapse HAD to be planned. For the twin towers, it seems odd that both buildings came down the exact same way. Also, someone made a comment the buildings were designed to implode downward. For me more information is needed here because I don't design high rise structures but it would seem odd that engineers would design in a buildings destruction. That's why explosives are used.

I graduated from college and passed my Mass. state E.I.T exam in 1991. Upon graduation, I began working for a local engineering firm doing HVAC design for commercial buildings. I then moved on to performing structural analysis/ design for the same firm, and finally ended up as a manager in charge of demolition projects for a Natural Gas equipment company, where I worked for 8 years. I have since moved on to being self-employed in an unrelated field.
The buildings that fell on 9-11-01 appeared to me, to fall at near FREE FALL speed. Without performing any experiments or calculations, and just relying on pure, old fashioned common sense, this is not possible in a steel building .... even one that had the structure weakened by fire. If the Pancake theory is correct, it stands to reason the resistance that the falling mass would encounter as each floor collapsed, would slow down the fall, at least intermittently. I simply DO NOT believe the official report and would like to see a new independent investigation.

Dr. Jones was an archeologist/physicist at BYU before resigning due to the controversial nature of his research into the 9/11 attacks. BYU had no desire to have their name associated with controversial topics of political nature, as I'm sure it is something most institutions would seek to avoid. Dr. Jones makes a compelling case for controlled demolition on the WTC towers.

When I watched the collapse of the WTC buildings, I knew there was something fishy about the whole affair. No building of that size goes down in free-fall speed, and collapses in his own foot-print. It looked to me more like a typical controlled demolition with explosive charges, remember the King Dome in Seattle. Jet Fuel is like Kerosene with a low flame point, its fire temperature is never high enough temperature to melt steel. There was a high-rise in Madrid that burnt for days without coming down.

I always felt that this happened too precisely and that it was very odd how it happened. Never thought that the way that the planes hit and went through the buildings could actually happen that way (the Wiley Coyote pattern). There needs to be a structural evaluation of the failure of the World Trade Center towers and Building 7 on September 11, 2001 in New York City. I believe there is no possibly way the buildings could have collapsed the way they did without a professional demolition effort. All three buildings should have fallen over first.

I obtained my degree in architecture from the University of Dundee, then my registration at the Architectural branch of the Jordanian Association of Engineers. In 1983 I Joined a Jordanian Architectural and Engineering firm, Jordania Consult as a junior architect. Soon after, I was offered to become a partner after winning the first prize in the architectural competition for the design of a mixed-use project. I am very concerned that the government can present a story about what happened on 9-11 and everyone, including the press, just believes it because they say so, regardless of conflicting evidence or lack of supporting evidence for the official story. Something terribly bad happened on 9/11 and after. This country can not get back on the right course until the events of that day are THOROUGHLY and TRULY investigated and justice served for the 3000+ of my countrymen that died that day and those first responders who are still dying.

Clearly there is NO WAY the buildings of 9-11 could have collapsed (especially at free fall) from the fires and damage they sustained. Why there has not been a total debunking of the official 'report' before now is a total mystery to me.

I think 911 was an inside job. I'm less certain about the bombs in the buildings. I saw a video on the web showing controlled demolitions. The explosions were huge concussions and louder than the sound the fall made. I'm signing this petition because a real investigation needs to be done.

The aircraft were not controlled from the cockpit when they hit buildings 1 and 2. The aerobatics with aircraft full of people, full of fuel, full of cargo, could not have been done by human control. They precisely bank and swerve into specific floors, middle, with precise bank to allow floor above and below to slice open the fuel tanks in the wings for immediate surface-of-building fire and smoke (maximum psychological/terror affect). This required a quartz altimeter (accurate to two feet elevation). The inexperienced Saudi alleged pilots would have simply flown straight into the buildings, open above surrounding buildings, not requiring any radical maneuvering what-so-ever.

Plethora of evidence which the mainstream media has done a good job of covering up. Simply look at some of the evidence, allow yourself some time to research it, and you will become a 9/11 truther. The key is to prove it to yourself, on your own terms, with your own mind and and your own heart. It does not matter from what angle you approach it, the truth is the truth.

I have 35 years experience in instrumentation supporting structural testing. I worked in aerospace for 28 years testing strength of spacecraft materials. I am still active in material testing and hold US patents for load sensors.
After viewing the building 7 collapse, I have to say if somebody told me that a demolition expert was reducing building 7 to rubble I would agree. The thermite connection is strong evidence that somebody orchestrated cutting the under-pinnings of building 7 and probably had the twin towers prepared for demolition.

I received a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering in 1990 and have worked in the field of engineering for over 15 years. I also earned a secondary teaching credential and have taught math up to the high school level.
The few videos I have seen and interviews I have heard were taken with much skepticism. However there are many troubling questions that I feel the 911 commission did not answer. The most troubling to me is that the investigation was obviously not done in a completely objective and scientific way. Much evidence was neglected, and those on the panel most likely had prejudices to the findings.

I am extremely concerned about the melted metal found versus temperatures found in a normal 'office fire', as well as the quickness and direction of collapse. A friend of mine receives full physicals every 3 years, paid for by the government, since he helped in the recovery effort; knowing that he could have/has inhaled metallic microspheres is alarming.

First, verify the facts. Leave the speculation to later. Based on the photographic evidence of the collapses alone, there are a host of issues that cry out to be openly debated until there is a complete and consistent explanation of events. Without a truly independent commission, speculation will remain rampant and conspiracy theory(ies) flourish. It would be even less likely that those responsible will be brought to justice if we can't agree on what brought the buildings down.

I am a licensed civil engineer specializing in water resources engineering. My engineering experience includes projects such as: pressurized irrigation systems, water storage tank design, canal structures, dam spillway design, water rights, SCADA telemetry management systems, soils testing, and design of reinforced concrete structures.
It is difficult for me to believe from a technical point of view that building 7 collapsed as the official report indicates from fire and debris damage. Portions of the building may have collapsed from damage however, the entire building collapsed symmetrically including the portions of the building which were in no way compromised as a result of the collapse of the twin towers.
