To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have 20 years post graduate experience as a structural engineer working in the offshore oil and gas, and laterally, renewable energy sectors. I have been running my own consultancy company for the last 10 years providing structural engineering services to offshore wind, wave and tidal energy projects.
The collapses of the towers appear to happen in a symmetric fashion at free fall velocity - indicating the use of demolition. Molten metal in the basement and columns sliced neatly at 45 degrees indicates the use of thermite. The collapse of Building 7 is particularly suspicious given that it was only hit by falling debris - and if was going to collapse at all - it certainly would not have been symmetrical - nor complete.Fire endurance tests with actual models failed to cause collapse. The NIST structural simulations - are not full simulations from the moment of impact to final collapse and the failure mechanisms seem to have been manually adjusted rather than relying on the pure physics capabilities of the software. The pulling forces on the perimeter columns by the sagging floors were adjusted' (NIST, 2005, p. 142) to cause yielding. A full and proper non-partisan peer reviewed set of analysis simulations has yet to be carried out. I suspect proper simulation will verify the physical model test results i.e. the buildings would not have collapsed due to aircraft impact alone.

He was a manager of a hedge fund for Alliance Capital Management, a firm with close ties to PNAC. Research then revealed Alliance was one of the firms involved in the transactions of airline and other stocks effected by the attacks. I am most interested in what I call the psychology of non-perception. That is, a study of how and why people resist or deny the seeing the obvious, that this was a false flag operation, like so many others, to initiate a war under false pretenses.

Being a civil engineer and understanding the laws of physics, I know that a building cannot fall a free fall speed without the floors already falling also giving no resistance. I wish our congressmen were as smart, and also showed some backbone and got a truly independent investigation going. Also, this 911 truth movement has shown to me that our press is as every bit controlled and spits out as much propaganda as I thought Pravda did for the old Soviet Union. My eyes have been awakened to many things, and I have come to learn that we do not live in as free a country as I thought we did, and with the passage of the Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act, it has become even less so. Let's elect Ron Paul and bring our country back under the Constituion!!

Due to many different facts I doubt the official explanation on the cause of the collapses of WTC building 1, 2 and 7. AE911truth.org listed a lot of undeniable facts based upon structural and physical principles, that are in conflict with the official explanations of public authorities and politicians. Some of these facts are so obvious that it is astonishing that there are not more voices in the world who express their unbelief.

I was watching good morning America with my mother that morning and witnessed the first plane hit the first Tower and I was so intrigued that I followed it for years to come. I was a kid but nevertheless I was shocked when I saw those dramatic scenes live on TV. I remember also that I found myself crying on my bed later that day. My parents were battered by my condolence. And there are still some drawings in our basement I portrayed the Towers and the airplanes, the fires and the people jumping out of the windows and falling to the ground. Today it still seems to be so unreal, unbelievable and traumatic to me. I am really struck with these happenings for a lifetime and I want to support any movement that is demanding the truth on scientific investigations.
Anyone who disengages for a moment from the official reports by NIST, politicians and the official journalism, has only to ask his common sense for the obvious. My common sense tells me that there is no possibility of WTC collapsing only caused by the airplane hits and the fires the way it did.

The World Trade Center was attacked when I was only 11 years old, but even then, as a young child, I had trouble believing what the official report had to say. This was primarily related to the overwhelming disparity between the findings of the commission and the documented experiences of first responders and employees who were in the building the day of. Im Scott, Im based in the UK, and I watched the events of 911 unfold on my TV here. I totally beliveved everything we were told until I dug a little deeper, and now I believe there may have been some conspiracy, and that those structures should not have failed as they were designed to withstand that impact. Im a 29 year old engineering student, and while I do not know as much as most people on this petition, I do know that those skyscrapers should not have fell, and I know that building 7 certainly should not have collapsed in on itself. I want the truth.
Im simply concerned about the events of 911. I bought into the whole terrorism things until I dug a bit deeper. I was concerned about how the buildings fell on the day, but believed all the information given out by sources in the USA. I now truly believe there is a lot more to this than the world has been told. Its time for the truth to come out.

I have been skeptical since the events first happened. I am 45 and a union carpenter, which helps me know that planes hitting a building that was built like the World Trade Center would not collapse. I have returned to Purdue to pursue an Engineering degree.
In my Short Bio are statements pertaining to 9/11. I am also aware that a UL Engineer who worked on the structural specs of the steel for the Twin Towers was fired for his editorial comments in the days following the tragic event. He maintained at the time that even if any exterior columns had been sheared that the interior columns were so overbuilt that a collapse was impossible. Even in a fire the temperature would not reach the melting point.
