To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The most important issue confronting the United States citizen is the courage to demand the Truth, and not to be satisfied until an independent, objective, through and complete investigation is conducted into the collapse of the Twin Towers as well as Building#7, and also the attack on the Pentagon, and the overall events of the entire day on 9/11. The investigating committee must be well funded with subpoena powers. No one is above these subpoena powers, and Contempt charges must be lodged against anyone not obeying the subpoena. The hearings should be broadcast across the country, around the world every day until they are concluded. The findings will be made public and law enforcement will be expected to continue any further investigation if necessary and to indict anyone suspected of being involved in this national tragedy. The government explanation of the events that day are fantastic and unbelievable. The major media, free press has for the most part disgraced itself. Buildings don't collapse at free fall speeds unless the bottom structure is blown out. Nanothermite is not a natural ingredient found in Manhattan soil. Airplane fuel does not melt steel. Steel structured buildings do not fall from fires. Paper passports do not fair better than steel and concrete. Concrete does not become a powder from collapsing. Buildings do not collapse on their own.

Worked for over thirty years as a fire protection engineering consultant for a world wide insurance company not involved with the towers. Have a BS in Environmental Science and nearly enough credits for an M.S. in Fire Protection Engineering with classes taken at OSU and UMaryland. Spent a number of years in an investigative role both with the insurance company and as an Assistant Fire Marshal with a town in Pennsylvania. In addition, have taught at University level on fire protection systems, and building systems for fire protection.
I have, since the buildings fell, had questions about how they fell. I mentioned to my wife, shortly before they fell, that is would be almost impossible for the buildings to fall due to the lack of sufficient heat loading and due to the fire protection systems in place within the buildings. In addition, in over 30 years in the fire business, I have never seen a pancake collapse of the nature that happened here. I have long wondered about water weight loading from the shattered sprinkler systems, which would have continued pumping until empty or without power, yet have never seen anything about water weight presented by any official investigation that takes that into account in any way.

I am attending CSN, currently in my second year, seeking a B.A. in Philosophy. I have done research in the field of the World Trade Center collapse for a couple years now, and it is evident, beyond any hint of doubt, that further inquiry is necessary within this field.
I would like to understand the origins of the termite powder within area of collapse; how the temperatures reached sufficient levels to melt the steel; what produced the blast within the basement prior to the collision of the first plane. History has proven time and again that atrocities of such an overwhelming magnitude are often obscured for the public eye. Primarily in the enterprise of maintaining the interests of those at the upper echelons of society. I figure, it is ultimately a question of whether the elected officials of this nation maintain any ounce of regard for the condition of the core population. Whether the truth, and the future, is of any relevance to them. For actions established upon a false foundation are only as stable as the very foundation upon which they were built.

The fact that there hasn't been dozens or hundreds of independent federal investigations in cooperation with all of the 'on scene' police, fire and rescue workers is suspicious to me. The fact that the debris from the towers was immediately removed, to a foreign country without being subject to independent analysis, shows obfuscation of any true investigation. The list of facts and questions concerning 9/11 is overwhelmingly long that, one must conclude that our own government is complicit in a cover-up.

I was in middle school when the towers were hit and at the time I was too young to understand what was happening besides that I was afraid. Now that I am a college student studying architecture I can see that there are too many things that are unexplained and untrue. During a lecture at my school an Engineer on the 9-11 commission presented the official finds on 9-11. When I asked him why WTC 7 fell even when it was nowhere near the towers and why it had the characteristics of a demolition implosion, he had nothing to say and dodge the questions. Some have said that the quality of the steel is at issue in the case of the twin towers; the equivalent of made in China. It seems highly unlikely to me given the structure's innovation at the time it was built .I would like a rebuttal to give them on this!! The way they collapsed & the sight of possible ballistics gave pause for sure. The most compelling for me was the piece from Major General Stubblebine, lately of the US Army Intelligence division.

I believe that Tower 7 was brought down by controlled demolition, and that various policeman and news stations knew about the collapse before it happened (Plenty of evidence out there for this). Shock would definitely (initially) rule out any suspicion or concern about the manner in which events took place. The same was true for me. But using common sense, I can reason that the official explanation and the actual outcome do not add up at all. Free-fall speed, completely pulverized material, and molten steel long after the event are telltale signs of some alternative cause--namely some sort of controlled demolition.

I never gave much thought to question the official story of 9/11 until I saw a video by Prof. Harris. He presented evidence that massive amounts of nanothermite was found in the Trade Center dust. My curiosity was aroused and I began researching the events of 9/11. After seeing numerous photos of the molten steel and especially the severed steel columns that were sliced at near 45 degree angles, I could no longer buy the official story because there is simply no way that office fire could possibly create enough heat to sever steel in that way.

Since many professionals who publicly challenge the 9/11 commission's findings end up effectively blacklisted by the media and many times fired from their jobs, I will only state that I completely agree that there should be a new independent investigation with subpoena power - and that this process should be 100% transparent and none of this investigation should be done behind closed doors. The entire process should be recorded (videotaped) to ensure transparency.

I am an Engineering student at Florence Darlington Tech where I've achieved an A student status in a majority of my classes including physics.
After reviewing the footage of all three buildings and examining their falling speeds relative to that of objects in free fall and that of other buildings during controlled demolition events, i feel that all three buildings had to have been collapsing due to some kind of sudden and almost instantaneous loss of structure not structural failure due to fire as the official story stated.

I am a 27 yr. old political science student, I just wanted to be entirely clear that I have no professional expertise in this area. However, there seems to be sufficient evidence that something is amiss when so many professionals in the field are willing to petition congress. If they have nothing to hide, what can it hurt? Lets not wait for however many years (per HSCA, AARB, etc.) till everyone is dead or can't remember the truth. Lets do it now!
I do not think that there was sufficient investigation of all possible theories in this tragedy. The fact is that they have lied to us before and I don't think that we can allow our government to be beyond speculation. We need to let the recent past guide our speculation into the true nature of these events. Who benefits? We must seek the truth at all costs.
