On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

When I found the information about the collapse of the three WTC buildings, I noticed that it is clear that the official account of what caused the collapse does not explain all of the observed behavior of the buildings before, during, and after their collapse. I think that a more rigorous investigation is required into what caused these buildings to collapse, regardless of how uncomfortable some of the information that may uncover may be.

It's becoming increasingly clear that important details of the 9/11 horror are not being reported. For example, and in addition to to the demolitions in New York, an airliner (757?) could not have hit the Pentagon without leaving large holes (from the massive engines) on either side of the central (fuselage) hole. Those engines are made of steel and titanium. They couldn't simply disintegrate.

I graduated from Clarkson University in 1998. I focussed my attention on structures, optimization, and renewable energy. I took a graduate level course in Finite Element Analysis and that gives me some background to critically review the NIST studies on the WTC collapses.
Upon seeing the video of the WTC 7 collapse, I could see immediately that this was a classic case of controlled demolition. Clearly the core columns were cut first -- as shown by the center of the roof beginning collapse before the rest of the building -- and then the rest comes down at free-fall. Classic and unmistakable. If the WTC 7 was demolished, why not WTC 1 & 2? If there were any demolitions, then clearly 9/11 was an inside job. Period. We must find out who did this crime before they strike again in America -- perhaps with an even greater crime.

J'rg Schneider was appointed Professor of Structural Engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETHZ) in 1967. He retired in October 1999. Born in Cologne in 1934, he graduated as a civil engineer from the ETHZ in 1958 and worked as a research assistant until 1962. For another four years he worked in industry, where he mainly dealt with the problems of precast and prestressed concrete. As a professor at ETHZ, his research was in the field of safety and reliability in building construction. For many years he was active in various Swiss standardization committees. He was Chairman of the Safety Expert Group of AlpTransit (EGSi) which supported the project management of these two new transalpine railway tunnels in matters of operational safety. He was a member of the Joint Committee on Structural Safety (JCSS) and its President for five years. For many years he was one of the Vice Presidents of the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE). In 1991 he was elected as an individual member of the Swiss Academy of Technical Sciences (SATW). The University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences (Boku) in Vienna awarded him an honorary doctorate degree in 1998 and, finally, he was elected honorary member of IABSE in 2002. In 2000, together with former employees and friends, he founded the engineering office Risk&Safety AG.
Clearly, I cannot believe that the George W. Bush administration willingly sacrificed 3000 lives. I'm not a conspiracy theorist. But I am convinced that the group around Bush gratefully used this terrible event to start the long-planned war on terror. However, there are so many inconsistencies in the official reports on the tragic event and so many gaps, especially in the collapse of WTC7, that only a new independent investigation can confirm or delete suspicions and remove existing ambiguities. I therefore fully agree with the request to have the events re-examined independently. Of course, even a new investigation will not bring people back to life.

Here is my synopsis of the situation: 1. The 3 World Trade Center buildings that collapsed were designed to withstand commercial jet impact and the subsequent fire. Unless the design margins were compromised, they should not have collapsed. 2. If the design margins were compromised, and they were reason for the collapse, the buildings would still not have collapsed in the extremely controlled fashion that was observed. Thus, design margin does not appear to be the cause of the collapses. 3. In searching for a plausible cause, the evidence first pointed to explosives. Evidence of explosions was provided by the numerous people that reported hearing them, by the evidence of high velocity radial trajectories of debris, and by the degree to which the debris field was pulverized. 4. The evidence then pointed to demolition-class explosives. Evidence of demolition-class explosives was provided by people seeing molten steel in a fire that should have been at least 1000 F below steel's melting point, by the debris field being permeated by bb-sized steel-based spheres that shouldn't have been 'vaporized', by the presence of elements unique to a demolition-class explosive in the debris field, and by the fact that all 3 buildings 'free fell' to the ground as if their infrastructure had suddenly disappeared (as is typical of demolition). 5. The evidence finally pointed to the use of military-grade demolition-class explosives. 6. If the conclusions from this evidence prove true, and to date they have not been refuted, the group of people responsible for the destruction of the WTC buildings remain at large, and the threat that destroyed the WTC buildings remains. 7. Unfortunately, the official root cause report does not account for the use of explosives at all. 8. For the United States to hold its own in a rough world, the reality of the situation must be irrefutably determined, and appropriate corrective actions taken. The current official report may be right, incompetent, or a cover-up. If the current official report does not withstand challenge, and the demolition claim stands, corrective actions must be taken against the people responsible, as well as the people that authored the root cause report, either for incompetence or for a willful cover-up. To do otherwise is to encourage a repeat performance.

The impact of the plane to the Twin Towers were scaled to a ratio of throwing a brick into a house window. Although footage of 9/11 looks horrible and billowing smoke looks extreme, reading and researching for 15 minutes makes everything confusing. So much smoke suggests that the fire inside the towers was either weak or cold burning. Jet fuel burns at maximum 1000 F, steel needs to be heated up to at least 2,500 F to melt (and for those who believe fuel softened steel enough to collapse them, the twin towers had fire proofed steel.) That information alone leads to more questions, to more unexplainable issues, to more doubt about what truly happened. Please let us figure out which alloy was in the Twin tower's steel to figure out what exactly happened.

I am just a college student majoring in Dietetics. I am very skeptical about the 9/11 incident. I have no doubt in my mind that explosives were used to take down the three buildings. I just want the truth to be spread to the American people.
It is very hard for me to believe that jet fuel can melt steel. This is the first time in human history that something as hot as jet fuel can melt steel. Also, the first building that was hit fell faster than the rate of gravity, which was seven seconds. The rate of gravity is 9 m/s. It would take more than an airplane and fire that burns at 800 F to take down that building. Explosives like thermite can make it possible for the buildings to fall at that rate.

When 3 high rise buildings crumble into itself like the ones on 9/11 did, it really shouldn't take anybody long, if examined without predjudice, or any other form of closed off mind and sight, to figure out that the trade towers didn't collapse due to internal fires. The top didn't break off and leave at least a little bit of building intact.. no.. instead after 2 hours of having a plane hit them there was nothing left of them except big chunks of metal. Don't even get me started on WTC 7. Wouldn't you move out of those kind of buildings if it's normal that buildings come down due to some internal fires? Look up towering inferno's on google and see how many skyscrapers and other huge buildings have been on fire so much more intensively, so much less strong then the WTC and some having been a blaze for over 20 hours. No collapse. It's just not realistic. A commercial airliner didn't hit the pentagon and I don't hear the name Shanksville anymore.... the worst of the worst.

If there was high explosive residue in the rubble of the twin towers and building seven, then there is clearly ample reason to doubt the official story. The media has truly failed the American people by not publishing this information.

Metal doesn't collapse like it did in the twin towers. It usually bends and then falls over. In other words the failure of metal is slow and gradual, not explosive.

The report provided as the results of the governmental investigation related to 9/11 was inconclusive. There are many unanswered questions and cooperation from within the US was not even analyzed. There was only one theory investigated and the investigation failed to conclude that such theory was correct. The towers did not collapse due to melting as a consequence of burning jet fuel.

I have been in the construction industry for 33 years and I am truly shocked that The official story does not correlate with known facts that buildings do not not collapse as a consequence of fire in the way that the twin towers actually collapsed.

It is absurd for anyone to believe that Building 7 collapsed due to fire alone. I have not heard any reasonable explanation regarding it's collapse to this day, nine years later. As for the official story, I am very confused as to why the FBI has not charged Usama Bin Ladin with the September 11th attacks after we have blamed him for it.

I am a second-year student in Helsinki University of Technology in the department of electrical engineering. My studies have covered lots of physics and now looking at the collapses of 9/11, I feel like the official story defies not only common sense, but also laws of physics. I have even seen the conductors of the official studies tell outright lies in interviews.
There are massive amounts of evidence to be studied with care. The thermite residues found in the dust, the molten steel in the basement levels, photographs of a glowing substance that are according to the official story molten aluminum from the plane. That said, I need only to look at how the buildings imploded! You only need to see other buildings brought down by a controlled demolition and you know there is something seriously wrong about the official story of 9/11.

Even I know that the towers could not have fallen the way they did without help from professionals, on the inside. I was as outraged as all Americans when I heard the news that morning back in September, 2001. I was working in Raleigh, north Carolina, and I rushed to the lounge to watch. My horror and outrage soon grew to disgusted shock, and then more outrage, when I later saw the footage of the buildings falling. I've seen that several times- in controlled demolitions! , I thought. The government would like all Americans to be stupid enough to believe the 'official' explanation, but we are not, and we demand truth.

After reviewing various clips of Tower 7's destruction, I cannot help but question the official explanation provided by the government. If you watch the tapes of Tower 7 falling, it appears to share the same structural impact of a controlled demolition. Not even mentioning that an airplane never struck Tower 7, the Tower falls into its own footprint, which is a result that could ONLY be cause by demolition. I honestly don't know who did it, all I know is what I read and watch, and based on my perception, Tower 7 was meant to be destroyed.

I would like to know why the hundreds of people questioning the final 9/11 report are being ignored. There are many people who have found explosives in the dust samples of the towers and the American people have a right to know the truth of 9/11. Anybody who has done metal work at school knows how hard it is to melt steel. Those buildings were built to the highest safety standards with high redundancy and could not collapse in the way they did without some kind of explosives.

I'm an art student, and my father is an Architect. We are both convinced that 9/11 was more than a terrorist attack. It was a mirror of a controlled demolition. I'm in college right now for art and new media but my dad has been an architect for many years now.
It looked like an explosion, and I've researched this subject for years. I've seen demolitions and so has my dad; WTC 7 looks exactly like one! It makes no sense that it could fall that way due to fire, not even for the illogical minded.
