To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The collapse of the Towers always gave me an uneasy feeling that there was something very suspicious about it, but most people seemed to accept that it was not that unusual after buildings had been hit by planes. When I heard Mr. Griffin on C-SPAN, I knew instantly that he was right about the collapses--it was the first time I had heard anything that made sense about that day.

I didn't pay much attention to US politics before the tragedy of 9/11. Right after 9/11 and without any investigation I believed the government story, but I couldn't shake the feeling that the tower collapses looked like controlled demolitions. When the U.S. attacked Afghanistan for so many weak reasons I started to question what really happened. I found many things that were highly questionable, and have found an enormous amount of information that shows the 9/11 Commission Report is filled with errors and omissions. So what really happened? The only explanation that scientifically answers most of the observed phenomena to date is controlled demolitions. End of story.

I've watched countless hours of video evidence from 911 starting in 2005. The collapse of WTC building 7 is clear cut in that it resembles a collapse into its own footprint due to demolition when comparing to video of other multi story buildings deliberately destroyed by this method. No engineering degree or architectural qualification is needed to know that the twin towers did not fall due to fire - simple high school physics is proof enough. The collapse of both towers happens incredibly quickly - with stories seemingly finding no resistance below as they fell. There are other glaring anomalies such as a top section that was keeling over but then stopped its rotation movement and collapsed vertically ' this makes no sense if the official fire-based collapse is to be believed. Other glaring evidence includes steel beams being jettisoned outwards for huge distances as the tower fell ' there is simply not enough kinetic energy present in a fire-based collapse to cause heavy beams to make this movement outwards. The only explanation can be demolition by explosives. Moreover ' the fires were oxygen starved and cool burning (burning with dark smoke) which allowed people to walk down past the fires to escape and allowed a woman to stand calling for help in the hole created by one of the planes. Such small cool burning fires could never cause the towers massive steel structure to collapse ' the core center girders were several meters thick.

The official explanations of the 9/11 events defy basic principles of physics, structural mechanics and science of materials; therefore, they all need further investigation. The collapse and pulverization of almost the entire twin towers required such a gigantic input of energy that it could had not been caused by jetful (burnt almost instantly), the kinetic energy of the airplanes, office combustible materials or the potential energy of the buildings. The collapse by implosion of building #7 was an obvious case of controlled demolition. Controlled demolition requires weeks of planning, study of drawings, design and installation of explosives and wiring. This could not have been done the same day of the event.

I have excelled in the manipulation of steel and have been in many positions of leadership i.e. Forman leadman etc. I now own a handyman bussiness and do ornamental iron work @ home in my shop. I was very traumatized. I later was informed of the propaganda through TV and public discourse. I always felt the blame did not fit, that the attacks by Muslims was incorrect. But just being a gut feeling and busy with life I suppressed these feelings. After the initial report came out my feelings strengthened to action and I investigated more. Looking back I found the basis of my doubts. The buildings collapsed in a way that my mind could not accept. With my knowledge of steel the official story could not be true. Then, seeing the Pentagon damage, I was convinced knowing that a plane cannot crash through walls and have enough velocity to crash through several more walls . I personally do not want to leave this event open for my children to wonder about as was done with the JFK assassination for my generation.

In my former life as an obsessive/compulsive banjo picker, I worked at different jobs to support my music habit, including a few stints in the construction trades. As a union carpenter, I worked on various state-of-the-art steel and concrete structures, including two high rises. Tn the course of gaining this experience, I've seen these materials subjected to diverse stresses and I have an understanding of the energy required to reduce cured concrete to powder and to deform and/or cut steel beams.
Have you ever seen someone break up, say, a section of sidewalk with a sledge hammer? Note that the hammer has a metal head. What would happen if we were instead to affix a piece of the sidewalk itself onto a long handle and use it to try to bust up a bigger section? Common sense and Newton's third law of motion both tell us that this kind of hammer head would itself shatter in the process, and long before the task could be completed. By this basic logic we can see at once that NIST's explanation for the collapse of the Twin Towers is a silly canard. The notion that a small section of a high rise can, in two cases, fall upon the much larger, sturdier sections below and so thoroughly destroy them is a fantasy. That's my argument against NIST's theory: The kinetic energy of the small sections is insufficient to wreak the kind of damage observed. Based on the active thermitic residues that are pervasive in the dust of the towers, logic promotes explosives as the strongest candidate for squaring up the huge deficit in the energy accounts.

From the looks of the videos being shown to me, it is very clear that Building 7 was a controlled demolition. The fact that there is no media coverage on an issue that is ranted about so much on the internet, proves that there is something to hide. An investigation should be no inconvenience if otherwise.

Physically and scientifically it is impossible that the three towers collapsed vertically as perfect as they did without the use of explosives. The airplane's fuel could not have burned hot enough to bring the steel to its melting point (1534 celsius). And the tower would have fallen on its side.

I believe the collapse of the towers was due to explosives and that this was not given enough consideration by the people who wrote the report. Also, the clean-up was done too quickly and not enough of the wreckage was salvaged, leading me to believe that there was some ulterior motive behind the damage done. Finally, I have witnessed George W. Bush give two different stories on how he learned about 9/11, leading me to understand that there is a fundamental wrongness about this whole situation that screams conspiracy.

Non-biased at this point of who or why, in concern of the events of 9/11. However; the facts of every event related to 9/11, have convinced me there is more to this story than the government will ever admit. I am a 28 year old Political Science major at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I became skeptical about 9/11 about two and a half years ago. It has consumed more of my time since that faithful day than I would care to admit. I am not claiming to know just what happened or who the real culprits are, but I feel that a cover-up has certainly been in place. It must be noted, however, that there are only so many parties with the capability to effect such a cover-up. I stand in solidarity with these architects, engineers, and laypeople and demand the truth!
I feel that the pancake theory, the pile driver theory, and other theories advanced by such entities as Popular Mechanics, FEMA, and NIST cannot be factually defended. Furthermore, I feel that Steven Jones and others have raised serious concerns that the WTC dust contains thermitic materials. I also feel that the extant video evidence of Building 7 looks, as Dan Rather said on 9/11, a lot like those buildings we've all seen [intentionally demolished].

I am suspicious of the building collapses with all of the evidence pointing towards preplanned demolition explosives. It is only more suspicious that the government chooses to ignore these suspicions. I completely understand not wanting to fess up to a huge mistake, such as a country organizing a terrorist attack and taking the lives of innocent citizens. Who knows what would happen if the government admitted to having a part of the events of 9/11. It would completely discredit all forms of American government, Americans would revolt. It would cause mayhem. So again, I do understand not admitting to such a thing. However, some form of blame needs to go somewhere, so that the victims' families can feel some sort of minuscule form of justice, as opposed to the current feeling of betrayal and injustice.

There are simply too many troubling unanswered questions--scientific, engineering, circumstantial, bureaucratic and political--for any person educated for careful, reasonable thought about events and issues to be convinced by the official 911 story. At the same time, it is likely, given the high stakes, that no truly objective investigation will be permitted to unfold. One does what one can to agitate for one, though.

After this happens I saw a documentary called Fahrenheit 911 and it sounded a little far fetched to me. after all that's just the opinion of one person where are the facts? this sounds like we should look at the facts again and get some real proff. there isn't ANY reason the 3rd tower should have dropped the way it did. If this IS the work of others then they need to be brought in front of the courts and convicted of their crimes. I see no reason why we shouldn't have a chance to dbl check the fact just to make sure.

WTC Building 7 was a 47-story steel building that had three fires blazing for eight and a half hours, which then went on to collapse in an extraordinarily orderly and compact fashion. Two months before the attacks, insurance was purchased on the asbestos-filled buildings, which had been devalued due to the cleanup and removal costs. Eyewitness testimonials have been captured that portrays an explosion in the basement in one of the two main Towers.

I am a sociology masters student, and I am currently using the scientific data here to write a paper on the 'public understanding of science' and the 'role of experts' with regards to the events of 9/11. I hope to reevaluate notions on expertise from social studies of science perspective.
Arguably the most critical event shaping the 21st century to date, that required scientific expertise to generate a new paradigm of perceptions of risk has largely gone either unchallenged or limitedly examined by the field of social studies of science. September 11th (9-11) 2001 brought 'a superpower to its knees' through apparently a Promethean use of commercial aircraft to take out iconic sky scrapers. Yet, the scientific evidence that supported this claim was largely imagined to be self evident by much of academia and for the global community at large ' except for a significant number of esoteric experts, namely the 1500 and growing, architects and engineers from the scientific community who have genuinely engaged with the evidence, and are critically calling still for a new investigation. As a sociologist interested in the social studies of science this event may bear great importance to the debate in the importance of the questions: How should the input of scientific experts shape the wider public understanding of the world? Should policy wait for scientific consensus or move unnecessarily at artificially created speeds? Who should be deemed experts? Should lay-men attempt to be experts? What is the difference between certified and non-certified expertise? Should the general public understand more about how science works instead of know more science themselves? 911 has been the greatest manipulation of scientific facts for private gain so far in the 21st century. If this challenge is not had, it will set a president for many more in the future of humanity (as though it has not set one already) - for the malicious and privately interested to abuse public power through getting the masses to 'trust in the facts', without really trusting the facts (pseudo expertise through titles vs wider scientific consensus).

There is much more to what happened on 9/11 than what the public is being informed of, and as these attacks have truly shaped many Americans lives today, the real truth must be discovered about what happened. Planes and office fires did not bring down those buildings. This is certain.

My son yelled at me urgently to come see the TV, we were in a motel en-route by car from LA to NYC, where I was living at the time. My immediate response was that I thought he was watching some B movie faking the destruction of WTC, because, I have witnessed, in person, the pre-planned demolition of a large building and watched from a close, but safe distance. I yelled at him change the channel, that's so stupid cheesy and fake looking! That's not funny, change the channel!!, to which he had to insist, it was not fake, but happening as we watched. I still insisted, because of the obvious demo effects.

I am doing a science project on 9/11, and have watched the David Chandler videos multiple times. My dad had to talk to my science teacher to get him to let me do my project on this. I hope the kids will observe and be logical about what they see and about facts on the project about the temperature there has to be to create molten steel.
I don't understand why people can't just see these videos and not comprehend the evidence of demolition. Hopefully they don't go with the debunkers which none of their statements are backed up with scientific reasoning. Building 7 is the most obvious because no plane hit it and only 10 of the stories were barely on fire in a couple of the rooms.

I'm a 30 y/o single Mother of a 7 y/o boy. I'm currently attending EMS classes and look forward to volunteering for my community after I'm certified. I'm terrified that my son is going to grow up in a far more corrupted country than what is present.
I don't believe that the Bush Administration has supplied enough evidence linking the 9/11 attacks to al-Qaeda. And furthermore, if they had ample proof that al-Qaeda was involved then common sense tells me that they apparently had to have some knowledge of the attacks prior to Sept. 11, 2001. I don't think it takes a genius to notice that the WTC collapse was the result of a controlled demolition. There is more probable cause to support foul play than there is evidence backing up the Bush Administrations claims to the 9/11 attacks.

I found it hard to believe that I didn't hear much about Building 7 and all the controversy. I live in Springfield, Mo, and I was living here when the towers went down. I will never forget the images on the news and where I was that day. I grew up in New Jersey, and the towers where a part of my daily view. Recently I learned about Building number 7, and I watched video of Building 7 coming down. Before reading any statements I thought to myself that looks like demolition.
