PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

A couple years ago, I was lying awake in bed, surfing the TV stations. I happened upon Loose Change being played on a local cable access channel. That sent me off into a fury of research into 9/11. In my mind, there is NO POSSIBLE WAY the building fell because of the plane impact/fire. Building 7's collapse explanation is so ridiculous I don't even know what to make of it. I worked at Merrill Lynch during 9/11. I personally witnessed molten metal pouring from the buildings prior to their collapse. I also heard explosions before and during the collapse of towers 1 and 2. I can also state that the fires took weeks to put out and were still burning underground. Approximately 1 week after the disaster, I had wanted to go to an office location near the 9/11 site. A colleague of mine said I could not go their because firefighters were still putting the fires out. I was incredulous that the fires were still burning such a long time (1 week or more) after the towers came down. From what I saw, the initial fires looked like they were going out when the initial collapse started. I gave a 47 minute interview to Truth Action Ottawa with the full details of my experience on 9/11. I knew something was wrong with the official story regarding 9/11 from the moment that 9/11 happened. Nothing that was stated by official US government sources could explain the molten metal that I saw. I had been troubled by that clear evidence for many years until I saw the paper written by Steven Jones and heard about his research. As a witness to 9/11, I can state that the evidence of molten metal presented by Steven Jones was visually observed by me. In fact, I was aware of the existence of molten metal at the 9/11 site long before Steven Jones paper was published. I am certain that this fact alone is sufficient reason to re-investigate 9/11. I have not ever been asked to testify or provide my evidence to anyone investigating 9/11. I would be willing to if ever officially requested.

Drawing on my structural engineering experience, my knowledge of physics, the evidence presented in numerous credible websites and books, and above all basic common sense, I consider gravitational collapse to be a wholly inaccurate description for the collapse mechanism as it is not in keeping with any of the physical evidence. Such evidence is easily accessible online for anyone who is willing to do their own research, though willingness appears to come second to willful ignorance in many cases, then worst of all there is apathy. Out of the many unexplained anomalies uncovered in the official story of 9/11, the building collapses (particularly WTC7) are the aspects most communicable to the public in raising awareness of these anomalies along with the puzzling fact that we do not yet have any proof of who orchestrated the attacks.

I believe all the official stories about what happened on 9/11, particularly with regard to the collapse of the three buildings, are patently false, evidenced by application of the facts. I am appalled that the all the metal beams and other locations of metal, including molten metal, did not go through thorough metallurgical testing and failure analysis. Plane crashes and other accidents or failure events receive full analysis, with no stone left unturned. Here we have the largest metallurgical disaster/attack in our nation's history and the analysis and investigation has been woefully inept. We may never know fully what happened because much of the evidence was destroyed rather quickly after the event. With what I do know, it appears as if these buildings collapsed with the assistance of timed demolition. A thorough independent official investigation has not happened yet and must happen in order to glean as much truth about this major event as possible. The integrity of our nation depends upon this and the responsibility to our nation's citizens demands it.

I am a relatively affluent young adult raised in California, and am well educated in the sciences, particularly physics, which I took an interest in throughout my high school and college education.
Free fall speeds of collapse are the most glaring inconsistency between understood and accepted scientific theory and the official explanation put forth by government agencies. Evidence of explosive compounds and molten steel (both before the collapse in the debris) are pieces of evidence in direct conflict with official government statements, and demand for a new investigation to be opened. Other notable pieces of evidence for me include: explosive forces necessary for the recorded horizontal ejections of multi-ton structures, pyroclastic flows that melted paint on cars near ground zero which look unlike concrete dust from any other high-rise destruction, eyewitness testimonies that describe explosions immediately before and during the collapses, appearance of core column failure preceding rapid onset collapse, and extreme denial of basic utilization of the scientific method in the official government investigations.

Earned my Associates degree in Architecture with Red Rocks Community College, and in the process of going back in the fall to continue my education in the field towards a Bachelors degree in Architecture.
The symmetrical collapse of all three towers, the free fall rate of speed for building 7, the nanothermite composites and iron microspheres found in the dust samples, the claim of one failed column causing building 7 to collapse, and the recycling of building 7 in China, are just a few examples of why there are gaping holes and unanswered questions regarding the events surrounding 9/11. These are valid questions, and a new investigation is strongly encouraged. As I type this, additional Engineers and Designers at my firm are watching this documentary, and the demand for a new investigation will soon be too strong to ignore.

Everything about the destruction is completely bogus. The buildings were designed withstand a crash from an airplane, so how did it happen that both failed, and collapse? I am very skeptical that a tower would collapse like that from burning jet fuel alone. The world trade center was a very structurally sound design. I would like to see (or even perform myself) a macro scale structural finite element analysis, with the entire potential energy of the aircraft applied in the most destructive way possible. I seriously doubt it would fail the way we all saw on 9/11. Also, thermal modelling could explain the molten steel witnessed at ground zero.

Given my experience and mechanical knowledge, I believe the building (wtc7) could not have collapsed in the fashion depicted in video evidence without the aid of demolition tactics.

I have spent an extensive amount of time investigating the events of 9-11. After educating myself about what actually happened and realizing the fraud that was being perpetrated I began reaching out to others about what I had learned. Many people are not open to considering the conspiracy but there have been several whose eyes have been opened to it.
I am certain there was foul play and the whole story is not being told. This appears to be a large conspiracy that deserves further investigation. The families of the victims deserve to know the truth and justice should be served.
