To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The official version never made sense to me. I anticipated that explosives would have been required just by hearing a description of the collapse on 9/11/2001. Quick calculations I made based on conservation of momentum trying to convince people the official explanation was false gave a 120 second collapse time for a gravitational collapse & 35mph to 60 mph lateral mass ejections which are not possible if only gravity driven. Newton's 3rd Law required the complete destruction of the falling top of the towers that should have left 60 stories of intact buildings standing after a gravitational collapse ended. Energy available from a gravitational collapse was insufficient to explain all features of the actual collapse. Core columns could be seen disintegrating in sections after the collapses ended. Steel frame buildings, by design and properties of materials, could not fail from oxygen-starved hydrocarbon fires. The buildings were designed to withstand airplane collisions of the 757/767 class and had withstood natural forces far greater over the life of the buildings. In short, I'm an engineer and understand the laws of physics and the official explanation violated at least 1/2 dozen of them.

I have followed this sad event virtually from the beginning. Watching video of the collapse of those three buildings, it was obvious that aircraft hitting the upper region of WT-1 and WT-2 didn't cause them to collapse, especially when the collapse for one started more or less at the ground floor. The collapse of WT-7 later in the day was a pathetic joke. Like the 'in-house' murders of President Kennedy and Robert Kennedy, perhaps the official white wash will be scrubbed away. As Roosevelt needed Pearl Harbor to get the American public supporting entry into WW II, the US needed a strong reason to get support for a pre-planned invasion of Iraq.

I believe there is sufficient, reasonable doubt to discredit the official description of the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center. I personally do not believe this was a terrorist attack simply because buildings structured like that would not collapse in the matter of seconds from a plane crashing into it. In some videos you can literally see it blow up before the plane even touches the building. The real question is why would this awful attack be set up? There is no way that molten steel could have been created by office fires. There is no way that the building could have been in an accelerating freefall without the evisceration of multiple floors to allow for no resistance, permitting the freefall.

Theories on collapse are not only contradicting but troubling. Real research should be done and a real answer should be found to put the case to rest. To objectively observe the collapse of the buildings will cause any rational person to conclude that controlled demolitions were utilized. To study and analyze the evidence from a genuine scientific approach will lead to the conclusion that the planes & fires alone could not have taken down the 3 buildings at the rate at which they fell, and that the results of any honest analysis indicate the use (to some extent) of strategic demolition. To openly conclude what happened, whether we like it or not, this event entailed far more planning and engineering precision than 2 aircraft and some relatively small fires. A further investigation is needed to challenge the notions of the American people and keep unchecked powers behind the scenes balanced. It must happen soon.

I am a 30 year old woman with moderate political views. I have a bachelor of arts degree in fine art from the University of New Mexico. I have always ignored the numerous conspiracy theories around 9/11, but this information is impossible to ignore. If this many engineering and physics experts, scientists, and professors have come to the conclusion that 9/11 was a controlled demolition, then we must demand the truth and justice for those 3,000 people that died that terrible day. I am convinced from the expert testimonials, the scientific facts, the videos of the twin towers falling, and the destruction of WTC building 7 (which I was not aware of until today) that 9/11 was some form of controlled demolition by thermite. The cover-up is solid proof that the US government was involved in some capacity.

I am a physics and 9/11 nut who is studying to be a commercial pilot. One of my pilot friends in also a conspiracy theorist.
I think the official version of 9/11 is plain nuts. I could go on and write for an hour (I have, by the way). I always ask one question about each flight then each tower destruction: American Airlines 11 (North Tower): How did the passengers contact the people on the ground? United Airlines 175 (South Tower): How did the 'hijacker' fly the airplane the way he did? 1. The steep climb, 2. the rapid, almost vertical, descent, 3. almost 100mph over VMO during the descent, and he still kept full control.American Airlines 77 (Pentagon): This one is ridiculous. How did Hani Hanjour, a pathetic pilot, fly the plane? He 1. flew normally, 2. Instead of plunging onto the roof, he started a turn, 3. made a complete 360 degree turn that caused him to lose sight of the target, 4. descend so low that the plane clipped some lightpoles, and 5. maintain complete control when a professional pilot says he would have a hard time doing it. United Airlines 93 (Shanksville Crash): My simple question is: WHERE IS THE PLANE? For the destruction of the towers (plus United 93), I pose the following questions:(note: for WTC 2, the question could apply to any of the three towers)WTC 1: How can the debunkers and NIST claim that jet fuel poured down the elevator shafts? (or, what caused the explosion in the basement prior to the planes impact?)WTC 2: How can the debunkers and NIST claim ignorance to the fact that all the building collapsed at free-fall speed? (or, why did the center of the tower start falling before the rest of the building?)Building 7: Where did all the advanced knowledge of the collapse come from? Pentagon: What caused the perfectly round exit hole at the back of the building? (or, WHERE IS THE PLANE?) Shanksville Crash: Again, WHERE IS THE PLANE? Hopefully this helps get the government to realize the error of their ways.
