To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I'm a software engineer, who has worked for a decade on project for the UK's National Air Traffic Control Systems.
Although software engineering is quite far from architecture, I can follow scientific arguments, and have helped with the writing of a number of research papers in which theories were suggested, then tested with experiments and conclusions drawn. So if follows that when taking an impartial analytical look at the evidence given for the 911 collapse, I have to reject the collapse hypothesis in favor of demolition, given the overwhelming number of pointers to wards the use of explosives.

Collapse of WTC-7 is prima facie controlled demolition. I have seen no alternative explanation, including that of NIST, that is even remotely plausible, given the visual evidence. NIST's continuing refusal even to examine the possibility of the obvious casts the gravest doubt upon the integrity of that institution, (or at least its management) and certainly upon the scientific probity of the NIST study participants. As to WTC 1 & 2, my military experience, coupled with some modest hands-on experience with high explosives, has given me a sense of how things behave when energetically disassembled. I find that the use of high-energy thermitic materials as suggested by Harrit, Jones et al., possibly accompanied by use of more conventional substances such as RDX, C-4, etc. provides a far more persuasive explanation of the observations, including molten iron/steel, powdered concrete etc. etc., than any plausible gravitational-collapse scenario. (Total-energy requirements alone eliminate gravity as more than a secondary input to the buildings' destruction).

The collapse of WTC building 7 is unprecedented: a building that collapsed supposedly due to fire and structural damage. The facts regarding WTC7 are compelling; it experienced a duration of free fall, it was a building outside of the main block of the twin towers, and the two buildings next to it experienced only superficial damage. Furthermore, other WTC7 evidence is suggestive, such as eyewitness accounts of explosions and news accounts and first responders as eyewitnesses that indicate foreknowledge of WTC7's collapse with certainty. For these reasons an investigation into the truth of WTC7 is warranted, and that truth weighs on the veracity of other 9/11 information.

At the time I was an over the road truck driver. I remember waking up and walking into ''Wings' truckstop and watching the towers fall. All us drivers were in disbelief about what we were seeing on T.V. I knew something wasn't right from the beginning. I think that the September 11th attacks were perpetrated against the American people and all of the people of the world by a comparatively small group of corrupt and evil individuals. I think that most of the corrupt perpetrators have remained hidden so far, and have not yet been brought to justice. These corrupt individuals sought to profit financially and to increase their personal power over American Citizens and the rest of the people in the world through the September 11th attacks and the chain of events that they orchestrated to follow the attacks.
