PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

One does not need to be an engineer to understand that contradictions cannot exist. If the pancake theory is true then we should sure have seen some pancakes, not pulverized concrete and neatly severed sections of steel. Further, buildings such as WTC 7 do not spontaneously collapse from being hit by debris or from fire. The fact that public officials intentionally destroyed most of the evidence is, itself, as in any crime, a suggestion of guilt or complicity in the crime.

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in architecture from the Oxford School of Architecture, Oxford, UK. I then moved back to the US to work as an apprentice in the Master of Architecture program at the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, Scottsdale AZ. During this time, my interest in the connection between landscape and architecture grew. After spending a year as an apprentice, I met a multidisciplinary designer named Pliny Fisk in Austin, Texas. I then moved to work with Pliny on the Texas A&M solar decathlon project, and I eventually attended Texas A&M where Pliny was signature faculty in the architecture department. While completing my Masters degree in architecture, I constructed my off grid shelter in Tuscola, Texas near where I grew up. I also collaborated with numerous architects and designers on award winning building projects around the world. Since that time, I have continued to work on projects at a variety of scales and types with an emphasis on connecting buildings and people to places with design. I'm currently a project designer at Laguarda Low Architecture and Planning in Dallas, and owner of Taproot Studio: a residential and commercial design practice.
To AIA members who voted down AIA Resolution 15-6: Why wouldn't you investigate a circumstance indicating that current best practices in steel building construction are endangering the lives of everyone in and around the building? How could you assert that you are upholding the reasonable standard of care if NIST says that low temperature fires in steel buildings can and do lead to free fall collapse scenarios as seen in Building 7? While some of you may suspect that NIST is being deceptive, you may view the incidents of 9/11 as disconnected with your own life and practice. If so, you're wrong there. If you let building 7 go uninvestigated, you set the stage for a repeat scenario (and in so doing fail to uphold the professional standard of care), as it could be your building next. We don't know how to safeguard against the real threat until we investigate a circumstance and determine the cause. Anyone with university level education in architecture in the U.S. has no excuse for not demanding an investigation into the collapse of WTC 7 in the interest of improving design factors and codes for steel construction.

Degreed as a chemical engineer in June 1965, in a French engineer school. I prepared a thesis on a physical chemistry subject until obtaining a graduate Docteur-Ingenieur in january 1970, at the university of Lille. The main results of my work were published in 'Le journal de physique' (French scientifical journal about physics) in march 1971 under my name and that of my bosses. After that educational period, I joined the steelmaking industry for my whole career. I worked much of the time for french USINOR group and finally during some years for the german THYSSENKRUPP when this company bought some parts of USINOR activities. I retired in May 2002. During my career, my job was about liquid steelmaking (special converters AOD for stainless steel) and hot rolling. I was a good specialist of reheating slabs of very special steels at a temperature as high as 2550 'F ! I've got a medal from the french steelmaking technical association (ATS - Association Technique de la Sid'rurgie fran'aise) for that job.
Concerning the 9/11 events, I am absolutely convinced that the softening of any of the inner columns of the WTC under a fire is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE. These colums were similar in shape with the slabs that I had to reheat from the room temperature to that of hot rolling mill. Flames, as high as they can be, are unable to heat the metal in the whole thickness. As a matter of fact, to reheat a 10 inches thick steel slab, it takes a least 3 hours in a very special hot rolling furnace. The system is very close to the theoretical black body (radiation is the main heating process, despite the type of fuel used). This furnace demands two complete days of preheat to be operating. And, naturally, the slabs are not insulated as the colums of the WTC.

The laws of physics also apply on 9/11. The way WTC1, WTC2 and Building 7 collapsed cannot be explained by just the impact of planes and fires. The video footage available (showing almost freefall) and other evidence clearly points to controlled demolition, a hypothesis that should be thoroughly investigated. The symmetrical nature and large portion of freefall speed during the collapse of WTC7 is even more puzzling as no plane ever hit that building.

I have a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada and eleven years of professional experience. Currently I am a senior engineer for a Danish company that makes wind turbine blades. I am part of the Composite Mechanics group that is responsible for determining and documenting the mechanical properties of the materials and substructures that are used in the blades. I am also currently attending a masters level fracture mechanics course at DTU (Danish Technical University) in order to become more specialized within my field. Previously I have worked in Vancouver, Canada with hydrogen fuels and their cooling and exhaust gas dilution systems and in Melbourne, Australia as an engineer designing industrial wheels and castors.
From my understanding of solid mechanics, I don't see how a steel constructed skyscraper can collapse under it's own weight at near free fall speed within it's own footprint. Steel is a ductile material and a space frame construction that is overloaded in compression will bend, buckle and twist, but will remain essentially as one structure. In my opinion, the failure mode observed for the twin towers can only be explained by a series of controlled explosions.

Three buildings came down in a demolition fashion that day, and one was not even hit by a plane. The official version never made sense to me. I anticipated that explosives would have been required just by hearing a description of the collapse on 9/11/2001. Quick calculations I made based on conservation of momentum trying to convince people the official explanation was false gave a 120 second collapse time for a gravitational collapse & 35mph to 60 mph lateral mass ejections which are not possible if only gravity driven. Newton's 3rd Law required the complete destruction of the falling top of the towers that should have left 60 stories of intact buildings standing after a gravitational collapse ended. Energy available from a gravitational collapse was insufficient to explain all features of the actual collapse. Core columns could be seen disintegrating in sections after the collapses ended. Steel frame buildings, by design and properties of materials, could not fail from oxygen-starved hydrocarbon fires. The buildings were designed to withstand airplane collisions of the 757/767 class and had withstood natural forces far greater over the life of the buildings. In short, I'm an engineer and understand the laws of physics and the official explanation violated at least 1/2 dozen of them.

I Attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering for an undergraduate Degree in Architectural Engineering with a specialty in Building Environmental Systems. I learned about the design and theory of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Systems. When the Events of 9-11 took place, I was 13 years of age, and did not fully feel the gravity of the situation. Upon reviewing footage of the tower collapses, they appear to be too clean of a collapse to not take further investigative actions. In any situation, there needs to be a third party, non-biased investigation. I did not think twice about how the towers collapsed until i stumbled upon AE911truth and saw the comparison videos and design professional testimony. With such a National Impact, every question should be answered, and investigated to explore every possibility.

Video evidence alone reveals that official story is corrupted. Anyone who has actually viewed the abundance of problems with the official story, couldn't honestly say they accept the official story. Molten steel coming out of tower before collapse is a dead giveaway of thermite.

I would like to initiate discussion of the different patterns of the collapse of WTC1 & 2 (from the top-down) and WTC 7 (from the bottom- down). As far as I know, this aspect has been ignored, so far.

Born in Iran, came to US in 1976 at age 10. Received BSME in 1992. mainly do structural related mechanical engineering work. Have been very vocal about the events on 9/11/01 since 9/11/01. It has been the most painful event in my life, has caused me incredible grief and set me back in life, but I believe that if the real truth about those events does not surface, there will be no healing, and the world will be destined to lose its humanity and self destruct completely.
From the time that I watched the planes hit the towers that Tuesday morning, I completely believed that those planes could not maneuver themselves that accurately without the level of expertise that only the military of united States can have. The fact that the height difference between the first and second tower impacts was considerable, the mass of the building in the first tower hit above the impact point had to be on the order of 1/3 to 1/2 that of the second tower. That mass difference should have manifested itself in different crash behavior, yet both towers collapsed in exactly the same manner! Building 7 was so obviously demolished by internal explosive that the government story was never anything by a comic farse to me. God bless those brave enough to not let the true perpetrators get away with what they have done to this planet and this humanity.

The more I inquired, the more I discovered that the official version was not credible. In 2007/2008, I did extensive research. I have read over 20 books related to 9/11. I watched movies on the internet. The shock was to visit ae911truth. Indeed, as an engineer I was looking for objective data and I found them! Also I looked carefully at the officials documents, mainly reports of NIST. To find the official explanation of the collapse of the towers. I was really angry, because there was no explanation! Only: And then the towers collapsed as the videos show ... Incredible! And even more when I discovered the case of WTC 7... I wrote a report (33 pages) which I entitled Indecent Proposal - Reopen 9 / 11 Report. I sent this document to my contacts, friends, family, etc... I was and now I am even more convinced that the official story is a lie. But I wanted to understand the why. I then continued my reading and my investigation: R. Heinberg - Mr. Chossudovsky - etc. And also the movie Oil Smoke & Mirrors. To find the last missing piece of the puzzle: the geopolitics of energy. I just finished the last book of D. Ray Griffin and I am currently reading one of Peter Dale Scott, who confirmed my convictions. Now I never see the world as I saw it before September 11, 2001 ...

I am retired from Saudi Aramco where I was a Loss Prevention Engineer for 12 years. I conducted several major industrial investigations at Saudi Aramco. Previously I was an investigator with a forensics engineering firm in Kingwood, TX (1993-1997), a research engineer with Amoco in Naperville, IL (1985-1992), and a design engineer with UOP in Des Plaines, IL (1972-1981). (Between 1981 and 1985 I was at Northwestern Univ completing my MS and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering.)
I was always more skeptical about the collapse of WTC7, i.e., as compared with WTC1&2 which pancaked down. WTC7 seemed essentially whole in its upper floors, as it fell, indicating failure of support columns lower in the building. However, after reviewing ae911truth films, I'm now no longer so sure about WTC1&2, i.e., thermite/thermate evidence. I certainly would support an unbiased thorough investigation. I would volunteer to be on it, but I have a strong bias after my years in the Middle East, i.e., very much anti-Israel, which could hurt the investigation.

The big key when trying to educate a novice, it seems to me, is the collapse of Building 7. So few have even heard of it, and they are startled and initially incredulous when you tell them of it. This gets their attention and provides the titilation that encourages them to listen further.

A recent graduate who designs Open-Source Hardware, but not currently employed by an engineering firm, partially due to conscientious objections to work available.
To me it is obvious both by physical intuition and training that dropping the top 10-15 floors of a circa-100-floor steel-framed building onto the rest intact below can not possibly cause the entire structure to collapse under its own weight, regardless of how much fire is blazing in the building. If nothing more had happened in Manhattan on the morning of 11/9/2001 than airliners each hitting those floors of WTC buildings 1 and 2, it is possible that sustained fire could have allowed the remaining beams supporting the top section of either building to buckle, and for said section(s) to fall to one side into the street below, but nothing more. Within the present spectrum of human knowledge, such a complete collapse, nearly symmetrical, near free-fall speed, can only be achieved using controlled demolition.

It seems to me that the version given does not correspond to what we saw on TV. Buildings fall like that when imploded.
