The AE911Truth Petition
To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I am just finishing my last year of Graduate school at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Architecture. A couple years ago I came across videos of WTC 7 collapsing and immediately recognized it as a planned demolition. I have taken structure classes and construction classes enough to know how a building should fall down if it was damaged by debris hitting it or if it was demolished by explosives.
Everything makes more sense now that it has been explained in a logical manner. I had seen the squib explosions being pointed out on video before I saw this presentation. People said I was crazy and they couldn't believe that I would even think that our own government could be behind something like this. I tried to come up with some logical explanation on my own and the only thing I could think of was that the floors above caved in all at once and caused the debris to fly away from the building like that. But when the statistics for the velocity of that explosion were given it seems impossible for it to be anything other than an explosion.

Following my BS in Civil Engineering, I ended up working 25 years internationally in upstream oil and gas. My background in structures as well as with explosives has helped me understand the issues regarding the destruction of these buildings.
While watching the first edition of Loose Change on TV here in France around 2003, I saw the collapse of Tower 7. I knew immediately that this was a demolition. And then I jumped down the rabbit hole, into an uncertain world. For me, the US government has no credibility at home nor internationally until it resolves this crime.

Science is not conspiracy theory, it is just science. Let us open our mind to it and see where it leads. The fact they refuse to release all their data and workings is the most unscientific stance imaginable. It simply must be challenged.

well, I found it strange that the buildings collapsed on top of itself, millions of man hours have been put into these buildings to resist loads, wouldn't the buildings have toppled over and taken the least resistance path?, WTC 7 collapsed from a fire?, comparing this building to the building that was on fire in China that did not collapse is strange, the 3 structural steel buildings to have collapsed by fire in the history of the world are these 3 buildings as to spit in the face of our Engineers and the centuries of American Engineering, why Engineer anything if this can happen to any of our buildings?, another puzzling factor is how fast they moved the steel from the site to be melted down, they sent it to China, tracked the trucks, it is just steel, why keep track of it?

The official story is fundamentally flawed due to the fact that much of the physical evidence (the wreckage of the WTC) was both denied access to by independent investigators and literally removed and destroyed before any crucial analysis could have been implemented. And the glaring fact the WTC7 was never even mentioned in the report yet fell in the same manor without even being hit.

After being hit, the World Trade Center towers demonstrated their resilience by staying in place. But after an hour they collapsed at free fall speed, from what we are told is a fire initiated collapse. The idea that an office fire could demolish over 100 floors of building is absurd. I have to wonder - how did all of the core columns become dismembered, and how was a free fall collapse possible? When I take all of the evidence into consideration, there is no way I could justify believing the official story. It just doesn't make sense.

I am regarded as an engineer but a fully licensed engineer must sign off on everything I do. In the drafting/robotics company that my independent company works with, I am a sort of ideas person - engineers tend to come to me with custom requests from clients that they don't know how to achieve. I have a good working knowledge of live load acting on static and dynamic structures, and I know how to apply this knowledge to practical real life situations.

I am a homeschool graduate living in Massachusetts. I became aware of the 9/11 truth movement in August 2009. Initially, I didn't accept the ideas I heard about the government knowing ahead of time, explosives planted inside the buildings, etc. But after careful research, I realized there were so many unanswered questions (like why Building 7 collapsed, which I only recently heard about). I acknowledge that I am a 9/11 truther, not a conspiracy theorist or terrorist. I have questions I want answered. It's my duty to inform others about this movement and defend those who believe 9/11 did not happen on its own.
My question is how the 3 buildings apparently collapsed straight down when the towers were mostly filled with smoke and there were no major fires at the time (as a firefighter said in the North Tower he was in just minutes before the collapse). Why have statements and interviews from firefighters and others on the scene been kept from the public? Why have communication recordings been kept private? We want answers. Many people label 9/11 truthers as terrorists or conspiracy theorists. When did it become wrong to ask questions the government doesn't want to answer? When did it become treasonous to think and ask something different from what people think happened? Unless the government provides clear answers about the true happenings on 9/11 this movement will continue to grow and proclaim the truth about what really happened.

I'm a student in Montreal and I think it's important for me to support this. I believe there is no way the incident was only caused by the plane crashes. When you see WTC7 on fire across the street which was also destroyed it couldn't have been solely due to fire but must have involved explosives.

I greatly appreciate all of the hard work and dedication of Richard and others. Clearly, one cannot see the evidence and believe the official story regarding 911. Richard, you absolutely need to debate the fine sheep at Popular Mechanics with all the new evidence collected since 2006. Every time I speak of 9/11 requiring a new investigation people raise that absurd remark stating popular mechanics debunked the conspiracy, How do they keep a straight face? Great work going up against the demo expert! I was unaware that in a debate, if you have no answer for something, you can simply deny the existence of the evidence presented. I am a fiscally conservative registered Republican. I have worked in the energy/industrial business sector for over 20 years primarily in technical sales. I have stood shoulder to shoulder with hundreds of architects and engineers some of which hold my beliefs, but are afraid to come forward. Over my career I have been involved in everything from plant design, procurement, engineering planning, detailed engineering, construction, start-up, and operations & maintenance of commercial fossil and nuclear power facilities. Having worked closely with multi-disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, process) on a range of project scopes, (including structural projects) you develop an engineering intuition supported by years of experience. Anyone who has gained this intuition over time and reviews independent evidence available should immediately understand why the official story is utter and complete nonsense and unfortunately the most dangerous cover up the world has every witnessed. During the attacks on the morning of 9/11 I was in flight from Baltimore to Cleveland OH for an engineering business meeting. For many years I believed the official government /main stream story never talking the time from my busy schedule to review alternative presentations and theories. BY chance I saw the documentary Loose Change and then 9/11 Blueprint for Truth. It only took several hours of reviewing white papers by Steven Jones and others to see the unmistakable truth and mainstream cover up.
Regardless of your politics or your technical background, anyone who carefully considers the forensic data that is publicly available, combined with all the circumstantial evidence would at least call for a new independent public investigation. At a minimum there has been an obvious and continuous cover up of information both pre and post 9/11. For me there is no question that the official story is made up and full of critical holes that remain unanswered to this day. What the real story is time will tell because secrets are not kept forever. Engineers I urge you to start your review of the data with the detailed scientific microscopic analysis of the WTC dust samples. Here: http://www.bentham-open.org/pages/content.php?TOCPJ/2009/00000002/00000001/7TOCPJ.SGM Then continue with the analysis and attempts to debunk the obvious demolition of building WTC7, the 47 floor steel frame skyscraper that was also pulled straight down at approx 5:00PM on the day of 9/11. It is way past time for a true independent public analysis and report leading to criminal investigations. God Bless America

When I saw the footage of the collapse of the towers on the news later in the evening of 9/11, I was sitting with a colleague of mine and we both said, almost simultaneously, that looks like a controlled demolition. Dan Rather repeated something similar to what we had just said later in his report. That struck both of us as odd. I had an overwhelming intuitive feeling that this was true. I put it out of my mind for 2-3 years but have had a continuous nagging feeling in the pit of my stomach that something was out of joint, to put it lightly. For the last several years, I have looked at hours of footage, read and researched it, and that feeling has refused to leave. The official reports strike me as false. The feeling that much has been left out, glossed over, explained away, and outright ignored, has never escaped me. I do not, for one second, believe that the planes themselves could have done all of that. Building 7 is the one that really gets me. One does not need to be an architect or engineer to notice that this building was, with a good degree of certainty, brought down by controlled demolition - something that would have taken days to set up. This screams for a thorough investigation, and I'm happy that people are actively pursuing this. It is of the utmost importance that the American people know the real truth about what actually happened that day.

I witnessed three buildings collapse on 9/11/01. I have combed through available evidence and have determined that these three collapses were the result of planned detonations, the type used by experts to bring down buildings into their own footprint. When I read and listen to those who say the buildings came down as a result of fire or some reason other than than detonation, those stories leave out known key evidence to make their case, which makes those stories weak. The facts are clear. The buildings were detonated.

There were just too many explosions and too many snafus allowing the hijackings. Was Dick Cheney responsible for the plane that reached the Pentagon? There is an incredible lack of evidence to support the 9/11 Commission Report's reasoning on the collapses. Furthermore many of the commissioner's of the report stated publicly that they did not embrace the reports findings.

The building collapses are just the tip of the iceberg for me. The witnesses at the pentagon and in shanksville add a whole different layer to 911. You don't need to be an engineer to see the fact that those buildings where brought down in a controlled demolition. There are many parallels between 911 and the JFK assassination. I have been working in the construction industry for many years. I own and operate a painting and wall covering business.
Buildings do not collapse that way unless they were detonated. What is very interesting is that another building that went down and nothing happened to it. But when it did fall, it fell perfectly, just like a rigged demolition.
