PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Being that 9/11 is one of the most formative events of our lifetimes (socially, legally, geopolitically, etc.), it seems imperative that the truth of the events be known. The official story has entirely too many holes, inaccuracies, and contradictions, making the need to reevaluate it self-evident. Having seen several videos over the years about 911, I thought there was sufficient doubt thrown on the official explanation to warrant further investigation. The way the towers fell (especially building 7), the speed of collapse, the claim that the fires were hot enough to melt steel, all seemed suspicious to me. Having just read David Ray Griffin's book on the collapse of world trade center building 7, I am convinced that the whole scenario needs to be revisited and scientifically investigated by a non-politicized panel of experts in all the applicable fields: structural engineering, explosives, physics, chemistry, etc.

To me the collapse of building 7 defies the laws of physics in so much that it was not hit by any aircraft, sustained only minimal damage due to fire yet collapsed into its own footprint at almost free-fall speed.

From time time I've encountered challenging information about the events of 9/11. I talk about information which doesn't fit to the official story. I talk about information which has been neglected in the official story. I talk about facts that many eye witnesses and scientists have pointed out. I talk about facts that will better explain how the buildings collapsed. A new research must be done on the scientific ground. All the facts that the official story has been unacceptable to explain must be taken on account. The real explanation must fit to evidence of facts.

It appears the World Trade Tower buildings fell in a manner impossible without additional assistance in the destruction of the core of the structures. The denial evident in the discussion of the the three towers' collapse along with the mind boggling explanation for the Pentagon explosion, can only invite skepticism and foster cynicism if not contempt.
