To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have been tangentially involved with fire rating of control and transformer rooms.
The building collapses have never made sense to me because of the following reasons. - - 1: The free-fall time. Objects colliding do not operate like that. - - 2: The melted steel. Without preheated air, I see no way to obtain those temperatures. and oxygen starved fires, as shown by the red and flames and smoke, make it impossible to obtain those temperatures. - - 3: The instantaneous collapse. Although I am not a structural engineer, that makes no sense to me. Heat processes take time. - - 4: Even the NIST says the jet fuel burned quickly and the fires were office fires.

I have a bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Rhode Island. For over 5 years I have researched and designed with specific architectural structures such as geodesic domes. I personally believe the Bush administration had full responsibility and most likely executed the idea and fabricated the account in the media. As thoroughly explained by Steve Jones and Richard Gage, the free-fall symmetrical collapse of the 3 WTC buildings on September 11, 2001 cannot physically be caused by fire alone. The law of conservation of momentum demands that the lower floors be blown out in advance from the path of the falling upper floors, so that their inertia does not slow down their fall. This can easily be proven using simple high school physics. An engineering degree, architectural degree or Ph.D. is not required to understand this.

I was an electro-mechanical draftsman for about four years in the late 1960's. In the late 1990's in another occupation working for a private corporation, I helped establish an international labor union. I served on the negotiating team for the first contract, representing about 100 employees. A collective bargaining agreement was eventually agreed upon, and I was then elected the first shop steward, remaining in this capacity until the union was firmly established. Working with others in 2003, I helped convince the City Council of Sacramento to pass a resolution affirming the Constitution and opposing measures that infringe on Constitutional rights (such as in the USA Patriot Act). The Bush Administration defined 9/11 as an act of war - not a crime - so that an investigation could be avoided. 9/11 was a crime, and there has never been an investigation of this crime that has followed the evidence, and evidence of the use of explosives is overwhelming. Simple common sense should tell us that 110-story steel and concrete structures cannot be leveled in about 10 seconds each by fires (initiated by burning jet fuel) alone. WTC Building 7 was not hit by an airplane, and this 47-story steel and concrete structure imploded in about 7 seconds at 5:20 PM. WTC-7's implosion was not even addressed by the Commission.

I earned a bachelors degree from Florida International University in Mechanical Engineering in 1997. I have a very good understanding of machine dynamics and kinematics. I am a very successful reliability engineer because I understand the physics of how machines are supposed to work, and subsequently, why they don't work.

I was suspicious of the news stories that said that a jet fuel fire collapsed a modern steel frame skyscraper....as if kerosene had the heat capacity to melt steel or there were even enough calories in the fuel tank of a single airplane to melt the massive steel columns of the WTC buildings... all the way to the basement. It also bothered me that two chaotic events (separate airplanes hitting WTC 1 and WTC 2 in different locations) resulted in identical failures.

There are many examples of buildings burning for hours and not falling down like the twin towers did. There is televised video of victims (and journalists) from 911 claiming that they heard, felt and were injured by explosions on the ground floor...and yet this was never questioned or addressed. Police officers somehow knew the buildings would fall...how??? The firemen that risked their lives that day thought they could put the fires out (according to documented transmissions). But then we see the buildings fall to the ground in 10 seconds. We hear Larry Silverstein said to pull building seven - that is a demolition word. We hear about FBI confiscating security camera video around the pentagon...why?? We see a hole so small...and claims that the explosion vaporized the plane when somehow the bodies were identified?!?! How on earth was a passport from one of the terrorists found in the twin tower rubble? Why no black boxes?? Why were the members of the Bin Laden family the only humans allowed to fly out of the US that day? Why were cell phone calls made from only one plane...and then how were they so clear?!?! And to top it all off, the world trade centers were scrapped and made into what? A warship?!?! How ironic. There is an act of treason here, and not necessarily from a bunch of Arabic terrorists.

I have a B.A. in history. I've been working for a small business for 25 years and have been doing home renovation and dog training as well. I am fairly well educated on 9/11 truth and hope to become more active in the movement possibly starting an organization in central Vermont.
The frustrating thing to me and I'm sure to others as well, is that it has to be possible to completely rule out the official theory--effectively proving controlled demolition even without any of the forensic evidence-- by the video evidence alone: There is no pile driver as is pointed out by Richard in either tower! It should be conclusively calculated that the top block of floors can not crush the bottom floors under any circumstances, but without a pile driver--which from the video evidence it can be proven dose not exist--there is know mechanism available and the official explanation is gone. The odds should also effectively disprove the idea that one skyscraper could collapse symmetrically as the result of asymmetrical damage. The odds that this could occur three times in one day have to be zero.

My educational path towards understanding Canada's monetary policy led me to support the Canadian Action Party for political change, yet their 'controversial' position on the official 9/11 story didn't sit right with me. So I started researching on 9/11 and came across an interview Richard Gage did with Alex Jones. Shortly after I begun watching Blueprint for Truth via the ae911truth website, and became convinced that these towers must have been brought down by explosives.
It's hard to imagine how I ever believed jet fuel and a few office fires could have reduced 80,000 tons of structural steel and reinforced concrete to dust. Even if the planes were enough to severely damage the structure of the buildings, it wouldn't have collapsed through the path of greatest resistance. And it wouldn't have reduced the buildings to dust. I remember the day it happened, how surprised I was when I learned that there was nothing left, both buildings were just pulverized. Yet it wasn't until 8 years later that I finally understood why.

Retired accountant. The remarks of the Chairman of the 911 Commission included words to the effect that ... it would be impossible to address all of the questions relating to the WTC disaster ... . This comment is clearly inadequate and demands a response. It demands what, indeed we now have: a large petition signed by the most eminent practitioners of the most relevant professions to this event - architects and engineers.
As a layperson having observed many controlled demolitions on TV, and having observed the lengthy and expensive preparations necessary to bring down a building so that it implodes, my observations of the collapsing WTC buildings have raised questions that have not been adequately addressed by the 911 Commission.

I am an artist, musician, analytic thinker, my focus is on the commonality between concepts and forms in the arts/sciences/philosophy/metaphysics, primarily in the form of geometry and dynamic systems (sound, light, quantum particles, biology, etc). I am something of an information addict, interested in an extremely wide range of subject matter because I seek to understand how everything works together as a united system.
I knew the building went down from a controlled demolition from the moment it happened, although I didn't think it was done by Americans at the time. There wouldn't be a need for an entire profession trained in structural demolition if it worked that precisely, just by chance, twice, on after the other from completely different impact points. The odds of just one building dropping so perfectly straight after receiving a side-on collision seem highly unlikely, two is just impossible. Later on other facts (or lies if you will) made me suspect more. The Pentagon being struck in the one section that was empty and under construction seemed very convenient, The collision left no identifiable debris of plane of bodies, it went though too many reinforced walls, and there was no sign of impact of the wings on the exterior. Building seven went down, I remember seeing that on TV but soon after coverage on the seemed to stop altogether. Then the wreckage (evidence) was sent away to be melted down. And I knew the signs of thermite explosives and the resulting molten slag and dusty smoke, which matched the TV footage of the incident. Not to mention I understand the psychology necessary to perpetrate this act (but that's another topic). Honestly I could go on and on.

I saw with my own two eyes the dust and papers flying in the air as the towers collapsed. My house was 2 miles away. From my rooftop, I smelled the fumes and dust. I had to go inside my house and close the doors.

I was born in N.York but i grew up in Athens, Greece. I very soon dropped the idea of studding at a college and starting traveling independently for many years. I would like a true independent investigation launched the soonest possible about the so called terrorist attacks on 911. Since the US has taking military action on an international level to hunt down the people responsible for these deeds, it would maybe sound logical to have a better investigation as to why these buildings came down, and who got benefits from these at the end.

Have never believed official story, want to know the truth. Building 7 was just to blatant an error on the part of the perpetrators, why did it fall? Reports of paramedics, police, firemen regarding explosions occurring prior to collapse is a red flag that cannot be ignored. Saw some of the I beams at the NYS Museum in Albany after the fall, where did they go from there? They were intact and some were bent, but don't know what caused that.

I saw the movie Loose Change and the information is very compelling. Buildings falling at a free fall speeds, nano-thermite in the debris, the ignored testimony of so many describing explosions, among all the other questions leave a lot of questions the American public deserves to have answered. This was an attack on American citizens. The real question is who made these attacks and why?.

I am a college educated American citizen who's very concerned about what REALLY happened on 9-11.
Anybody who commits any time to studying what happened on 9-11 cannot accept the official story. Building 7 is such a glaring example ,by itself, that something very unusual -if not sinister-happened on that day.The fact that building 7's collapse was not addressed in the official report should outrage all Americans.

I do not have a degree in engineering. I attended Oakland University in 1999. I do independent research in many areas, such as genetic studies. I have studied the OS and all of the evidence from the OS, and other researcher's papers.
