On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The official version never made sense to me. I anticipated that explosives would have been required just by hearing a description of the collapse on 9/11/2001. Quick calculations I made based on conservation of momentum trying to convince people the official explanation was false gave a 120 second collapse time for a gravitational collapse & 35mph to 60 mph lateral mass ejections which are not possible if only gravity driven. Newton's 3rd Law required the complete destruction of the falling top of the towers that should have left 60 stories of intact buildings standing after a gravitational collapse ended. Energy available from a gravitational collapse was insufficient to explain all features of the actual collapse. Core columns could be seen disintegrating in sections after the collapses ended. Steel frame buildings, by design and properties of materials, could not fail from oxygen-starved hydrocarbon fires. The buildings were designed to withstand airplane collisions of the 757/767 class and had withstood natural forces far greater over the life of the buildings. In short, I'm an engineer and understand the laws of physics and the official explanation violated at least 1/2 dozen of them.

I've seen other investigations of the 9-11 attacks and they all point to the same thing, but the listing of reasons for doubting the official story as found on this web site is both the most succinct and compelling I've yet seen. As I read some of those points I thought Of course! I should not have needed an architect to point out those things! It is clear that further investigation is needed with testimony by experts such as Richard Gage.

Now after my own research and seeing Building 7 fall I can trust my initial gut feeling - this is a controlled demolition not a building collapse. The work of Richard Gage and Professor Steven Jones and others has provided scientific evidence to warrant a new, independent investigation into these building collapses and the events of the day.

I do not believe the building would fall from the impact of an airplane alone. The lower structure is designed to retain the weight of the structure above. Wind loads alone on the building would be greater on the superstructure in the lower floors. And how could it fall so uniformly in it's own footprint? No lean and partial collapse? Very strange.

Like most people who viewed the event, and as a mother of two young children at that time, I was so emotional and deeply sadden by the loss. The event sent chill down to my spine and I was numb and speechless everytime I watched it on TV. My heartfelt thanks to those who initiated AE911 Truth and its supporters. As a civil engineer, after watching the AE911 Truth movie, I could not agree more with the fact that we need to learn the real truth behind 911. The truth must be revealed not only for the sake of the victims' families but for the whole world. As a US citizen and as God's child, I feel responsible to join AE911 Truth in demanding for an unbiased scientific investigation. The way that the three buildings fell on 9/11 certainly raises doubts that they fell due to the reported causes: damage by the aircraft and the subsequent fire. The fact that Building 7 also fell in the same fashion (completely vertical), and the abundant physical and photographic evidence of explosives, convinces me that an independent investigation of this matter must be undertaken.

It is impossible for the highly asymmetric damage caused by the second plane hitting WTC 2 to result in the completely symmetrical collapse of that building. The incredibly symmetrical implosion of WTC 7 into its own footprint confirms that controlled demolition was involved. This could only be done well in advance of 9/11/2001, and only with the full knowledge of the security firms in control of the WTC site. It could not have been perpetrated by a ragtag group of desert desperadoes.

Pure physics and basic structural engineering fundamentals prove that these buildings would not collapse at an accelerated rate (i.e.due to gravity) without the structural members below being completely disintegrated. The structural members would normally resist the forces of the floors above UNLESS they were destroyed by means far greater than heat produced by burning jet fuel. Structural collapses are typically slow to start and are not as uniform as collapses resulting from controlled detonations, which is likely the cause of these collapses.

1. WTC1 and 2 failures were instantaneous and uniform across the floor area. 2. WTC1 and 2 had large amounts of molten steel in the rubble, produced by significant non-oxidizing exothermic reactions. 3. WTC7 uniformly and instantaneously fell at or near free fall for about 2 seconds, 20 meters, or 6 stories. Every column must have failed at the same time over a height of 6 stories. 4. Starting from these unmentioned and inexplicable observations, one can critically examine the evidence of a terrorist attack that day, and realize there is nothing there at all.

I defer to the experts in the field. However, I do have a solid theoretical background in the fundamentals of engineering, physics and chemistry. My relevant education includes basic undergraduate courses in physics, chemistry, thermodynamics, materials science, psychology and neuropsychology. I have understanding and respect for the scientific method: the method of following the evidence wherever it may lead without prejudice or bias, to arrive at scientifically-derived conclusions, no matter how unpopular or politically incorrect they may or may not be. Science influenced by politics is not pure science; it is pseudo-science. Pure science MUST be apolitical, meaning independent of political influence at every stage. This is always a challenge for professionals, but an ideal worth striving for, both for the integrity of the discipline of science, and for the service of science to humanity.
I first learned of the twin tower collapses on one of the major TV news networks. My personal experience was one of surrealism. It felt more like a dream than reality. Immediately, the names that came to mind were Bin Laden, and Al Quada, and some time later I realized that I had been psychologically primed by the media with this information. I originally believed the story told by the mainstream media and government officials that very hot jet fuel fires caused the steel to melt and collapse. But I think subconsciously I had some reservations that the buildings could collapse at free-fall acceleration, and fall so neatly into their own footprints. I had seen demolition videos before, and the similarity was not lost on me. Many years went by and I began to see inside job bumper stickers, and internet images and stories, the first of which was the BBC story claiming that the Soloman Brothers Building (WTC 7) had collapsed even though it was allegedly visible in the background. After posting this on Facebook as a curiosity, I was contacted by a friend who had been following 9/11 truth for some time. I began my own informal research effort studying internet materials, tempered by my understanding of scientific phenomena and engineering principles. The more I researched, the more it became clear that the official story was not believable, and much of the 9/11 truth information was very plausible and realistically a much more likely explanation of events. There is much evidence to consider: eyewitness accounts of explosions, large volumes of molten metal observed streaming from at least one building both before and after its collapse, large quantities of residual heat, discovery of steel microspheres, discovery of unreacted thermite, the physics of free fall requiring zero vertical support and thus requiring ALL steel support columns to be severed simultaneously, no history of modern steel building collapses due to fire, WTC 1, 2 & 7 all collapsing in a similar manner despite differences in building structure and in structural damage, black smoke indicating a lack of oxygen and a relatively cool fire apparently not hot enough to melt steel in the volumes observed, the buildings being designed to withstand airplane impact of 10% higher kinetic energy, evidence that the government ignored warnings, and so much more... I believe the evidence supporting the case for controlled demolition is overwhelming. There are also compelling means, motive and opportunity for nefarious elements in government to carry out such an attack. At least one experimenter with videos on youtube has shown that a thermite charge placed on a steel bolt is an effective and efficient means of destruction, and offers a plausible explanation of events, and is consistent with the WTC evidence.

I do not believe the official story whatsoever. There is ample evidence indicating a conspiracy has occurred. Evidence includes scientific testing of dust showing thermite like chemicals found at the site. Also, the buildings, including number seven, all fell with acceleration close to free fall indicating controlled demolition.

For several years I have wondered what brought WTC building 7 down. The free fall rate and the level roof all the way down seemed like something that would be impossible. From the various sources I have researched, it is clear, beyond any doubt whatsoever, that Building 7 did not collapse due to fires and that the Towers did not collapse due to the impact and fires caused by the jetliners. The eye witness testimonies have been omitted from the official commission and neglected. The families of the victims would like the investigation to be reopened. It doesn't take a very experience engineer to see that the collapse of the WTC towers, in the manner that they did, was simply impossible. Unlike the old days, the baffling collapse was widely recorded. After the initial emotional had had time to calm down, most people should have started to question how something clearly impossible according to Newtonian science and all engineering principles had happened before our eyes. Shockingly, that's not the case. In the short attention span of the modern world, unscrupulous politicians no longer need to answer valid questions with matching intelligence. They can simply wave it off as conspiracy theory, and the case is closed. If a majority of the population is happy with their irresponsible labelling and devious tactic, their story, however incredible and ridiculous, becomes official. This is a heartbreaking and dangerous trend. Is the USA returning to Galileo's time in a massive scale? Most people, including learned ones, supported the Pope's planetary fantasy regardless of objective evidence. In the case of 9/11, it is particularly ironic because unlike 16th century Europe, knowledge and mass communication are at an unprecedented height today. If the ludicrous explanations in the official report stand, there should be other consequences. First, something should be done to all the buildings in the US (and the world?) erected based on similar principle as the WTC towers. Should the building codes be revised accordingly to prevent recurrence? Second, similar collapse has never been observed anywhere else. Are they implying that American structural engineering is the most backward on this planet? Third, in the light of such a fantastic structural failure, is any research work being done in the universities to understand the mechanics of a major phenomena which appears to defy everything Newton taught us? The engineering questions can make a very long list. However, we seem to have entered a new Dark Ages.

On 9/11, I watched for 15 minutes (about 2:30 EDT), by then Osama bin Laden was already being blamed. I stepped away muttering, How could he be so stupid? This is exactly what Bush and crew have been waiting for. I then tuned the whole thing out for two and a half years until an interview on KPFK radio got my attention. For the next few months, I spent my free time reviewing the evidence. The collapse of the (3) towers as described by the official 9/11 story, if true, would be the first ever documented violation of the laws of physics and would undermine the foundation of all engineering disciplines. Another energy source must be present. Explosives is the only hypothesis thus far put forth that is consistent with all available evidence. The fossil record regarding 9/11 is both detailed and overwhelming. Explosives implies fore-knowledge, making 9/11 a false-flag psychological operation. A proper investigation and indictments are long overdue.
