PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I was fascinated with physics in high school and constantly try to keep up with advances in the field. I'm excited about CERN and my conception of god is based in quantum physics. I've never watched an object, any object, fall through a much larger greatly more massive, upright, stable, structurally zealous object - composed primarily of steel and concrete - at near free-fall velocity, and come to the ground in massive clouds of dust. The underlying theme of the collapses, w/r/t the theories set forth by investigating agencies, is that of crushing; it is not that of annihilation, which is what we have all witnessed, countless times. Critical analysis is the only skill necessary to notice the discrepancies between official fact, and the findings of genuine, caring, and bold individuals concerned with that elusive thing we identify as truth.

I am/was a project engineer with 15 + years in the energy industry and exposure to gas engines and fuel combustion. I have experience in ASME/AWS code material (steel) selection and material strength calculation and loading analysis, plus pressure / temperature calculations.
The nearly uninhibited free-fall of all 3 buildings is contrary to laws of physics (Newton's laws of motion and the conservation of energy / first law of thermodynamics). The collisions during the building collapse (i.e., upper floors dropping into lower floors) would demand that the falling body (upper floors) should slow down far below natural gravitational acceleration value (32.174 fl/s^2 or 9.81 m/s^2) due to momentum and collision losses. The momentum / mass of the lower stationary floors (f=m*a and m1v1 & m2v2 products) would reduce the average speed and acceleration rate of the falling mass, and 2) the energy absorbed (force * distance) via the collision and material distortion (i.e., steel bending), or material disintegration (i.e., concrete crumbling) as the falling upper floors collided with the floors beneath must also reduce the acceleration rate. Also, the jet fuel and office fire burned BLACK (indicating an oxygen lean/fuel rich fire), which would not produce a temperature hot enough to melt such a massive steel structure, much less weaken the structure to the point of collapse, especially as the collapses do not occur with any sort of directional bias (falling toward the failure or weak point).

My experience has included a wide spectrum of building types and sizes including; large retail mixed-use projects, single family residential, education, sports and recreation, and urban design. From the very first moment I saw the images on the TV of the towers falling, I felt there must be some reason for the collapse other than the plane crashes and resulting fires in the buildings. It seemed to me that the damage would be limited to floors where the planes hit and the fire was able to spread and therefore any collapse would be partial, but not total. I also wondered how the failure of this magnitude was possible when buildings are designed with redundant fire and structural systems to address instances specifically like this event.

I am a Union Operating Engineer, and work in the field of heavy construction. I have helped build iron framed structures, so am very familiar with what is involved with the integrity of the buildings. I have 20 years experience in the industry.

I have watched Ironworkers cut big iron with oxygen/acetylene torches and know that a fire from jet fuel could in no way cause buildings to collapse the way the Twin Towers did on 9/1/11. Not to mention all of the rebar in the concrete floors and the conduit that held all of the electrical wiring... both of with would have caused major resistance in a natural fire. These buildings disintegrated into dust... they did not collapse. They fell in the path of greatest resistance... not possible without the help of explosives. The iron is BIG IRON... as I have heard it called by Union Ironworkers...

After watching the precision with which the towers collapsed, I was then, and remain today, of the opinion that it was a controlled demo job. I did calculations at the time estimating that the rubble pile was much too small...material had to disappear/ vaporize in order for the pile to be as small as it was. Conservatively, the pile of rubble would have to have been about 30 stories deep (including accounting for the 7 stories below grade being packed tight with debris, no air spaces!); a 'pyramid' with a base of 600 ft square. Anyone who has ever witnessed a controlled demolition would have immediately recognized its 'signature in this collapse. Not likely to cut off all of the columns on only one side of the building and still have it come down vertically, virtually within its own footprint, like it did.

I have a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Penn State University. I worked for a developer (commercial and residential) for two years after graduating. During my engineering courses I studied structures with Harry West, an excellent structural engineering professor. During that semester, we did a case study on the disaster that happened at the Hyatt Regency in Kansas City in the 80's. I recently looked up the information about the event (in particular when I was watching Mr. Gage's videos about WTC 7 and the 9/11 disaster in general) and was surprised to discover that the Kansas City disaster was the biggest structural steel failure, in terms of loss of life, until 9/11! I wonder what engineering students have to study now when the facts about 9/11 are so unclear and decidedly incorrect in the government version that NIST released. Why can't we get a proper investigation into these events that addresses the real facts presented to us, like free fall collapse through path of greatest resistance. It's nonsense that the government would even have high school students believe such stuff, let alone advanced university engineering students. Please include my name in your petition. I think the victims of this disaster and the subsequent victims (both US soldiers and Iraqi citizens and US citizens in general) deserve the truth.

Even newscasters of the day reported they thought that was what they were seeing. Why is the government hiding the truth from us? It is obvious that explosives, at the very least, were used; more than likely, based on the finding of the microspheres of iron in the dust, the incendiary thermite was used. I am not a 'truther' or kookspiracist. I simply have an engineering background and am amazed that people who see Mr. Gage's presentations would think that he is making things up: that the laws of physics took a break on that September day. I now think and feel so differently about our government and even about agencies like NIST and the ASCE that have failed the engineering community on this incident. Why didn't these agencies explain the obvious fallacies and discrepancies present in those events? I feel betrayed by our government. I also feel a deep sense of distrust for such agencies that have the responsibility to protect the general public by providing unbiased and truthful investigations into incidents that harm and kill us citizens. I remember studying the Kansas City Hyatt disaster in engineering school. We were taught about the consequences of negligence in our work as engineers, how loss of life and property can occur as a result of poor work on our part as engineers. How can current day engineering students look at 9/11 and learn anything when so many paradoxes and controversies surround it? Our government needs to reopen the investigation and find out what really happened. So many lives have been lost and continue to be lost as a result of the rash decisions and outcomes based on what was perceived to have happened, most of which is unsubstantiated by facts and scientific laws that must not be disregarded. I wholeheartedly support Mr. Gage's movement to get a new investigation, and I hope he is able to achieve what he has set out to do: reveal the truth.

We should not seek the truth simply for the foregone desire to avert a similar instance in the future; we seek the truth--transparent and repeatable--to prevent continued governmental abuses on various levels, utilizing increasingly dangerous and deadly tactics as can be easily demonstrated in the 40 years between the assassination of a president and the mass murder of nearly 3,000 innocent people.

There is overwhelming evidence of misconduct on the part of the NIST in the investigation as a whole. Except for 4 frames, information from the 80 plus camera's that were confiscated, which showed the flight crashing into the Pentagon, has been withheld from the public. Washington's story is in conflict with the many documented eye witness accounts. The circumstantial evidence of a conspiracy to commit crime and the questions that have never been answered satisfactorily to the general public warrants a new investigation under oath.

The evidence the towers were deliberately detonated is encyclopedic in volume and cannot be dismissed.The implications are many.I would be stunned to see you prove these architects and engineers are incorrect. The buildings could not have fallen at that speed into their own footprints unless they were detonated.There was no logical explanation (other than detonation ) for the 3rd tower to have come down.No skyscraper has ever toppled before or since because it was struck by a jet.Nothing jets could carry other than a nuclear bomb could bring the towers down (but that would not have been an orderly collapse!).Steel cannot melt at the temperatures that could have been reached without other means of deployment.There has been inadequate investigation and reporting done on the subject.No alternative opinion.

I fear that if the underlying issues of 9-11 truth are not demanded, that Iraq may be but a flame on an ocean of gasoline that may be used to ignite war after war after war. We cannot, as a peace & justice movement only address the flames. We must look at the fuel being used to justify the flames of war and repression at home and abroad. We must look deeply at the events leading up to, on and since 9-11. We must demand full 9-11 truth.
