PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

From the photographs, I can observe hundreds of full-length girders being flung up and out around the tops of the buildings. No plausible official explanation explains this phenomenon as a product of collision of fires at lower levels; i.e., implosion due to the force of gravity could not have made the top explode. Furthermore, I observe white-hot molten metal pouring out of some of the openings; jet-fuel fires cannot melt metals to white-hot temperatures, especially with the preponderance of black smoke, which connotes oxygen-poor flames.

Rogue aircraft are nowhere near the level of threat that a planned and coordinated demolition is. The towers fell as nearly free-fall speed, which doesn't hold with high school physics calculations. By many accounts these buildings housed some very important tenants, which may keep very important information files, etc. There is the possibility that these buildings have been pre-wired to be demolished if security were ever to be breached in a major way. Anecdotaly speaking: remember the opening scenes of the original Mission Impossible?...this tape will self-destruct in 30 seconds. In my opinion the term pull it had to do with orders to destroy the properties due to un-avoidable security breaches that would ensue as a result of a myriad of persons going into previously secured areas of the buildings....thus the twin towers and the third building. This is my own opinion, I have never read this nor heard this anywhere. It is only my opinion/theory.

I also remember reports of Building 7 being evacuated because it was expected to come down from sustained damage. I accepted the explanations given by the media. It wasn't until years later that I started examining the research of experts on this and other websites and rethinking my discomfort with the official account. From an understanding of steel failure, I would expect any collapse to be gradual and asymmetric. If the official story were true, it would be a major embarrassment to the US design and construction industry that these towers failed so catastrophically, especially Building 7. I want to stand on the right side of history. We all deserve a real investigation with subpoena power, that explores every possibility.

If the floors did pancake, then the basically hollow square floors outside of the exterior of the core would have sheared off and collapsed leaving the core standing. As an analogy, the core is the 'trunk' of the tower, giving bending resistance (stiffness) and vertical support. There is no reason to believe that collapsing floors surrounding it would affect it.

As the dreadful events on 9/11/2001 unfolded I was keenly aware that I was watching a planned spectacle, much like the Kennedy assassination. It was poorly coordinated, in my opinion, because there were so many glaring inconsistencies with the common assumption that we were under attack (an opinion formed too quickly and too emphatically to evade close scrutiny), such as the very obvious fact that two jet planes under human pilot control could not strike such relatively narrow targets so consistently (the first one I almost accepted as blind luck, but when the second hit in just the same way I knew they were electronically guided). The really obvious thing for me was the ill-disguised detonations timed (poorly in my opinion) to suggest that it was the planes that brought down the towers when this was not possible. I remember remarking to my engineer colleagues that there was no way the buildings would collapse: They withstood impact and the thick black smoke was clear indication that the fires were oxygen-starved and relatively cool (well below the melting point of steel). Sounds of explosions could be heard over several news feeds, each building collapsed in a very rapid and controlled way, and the demolitions were performed too soon after the planes struck. A third building, much smaller than the towers, was brought down even though it was not hit. I am sure there were good reasons for bringing it down, but did the people who did this really think no one would notice?

I estimate construction costs for industrial and commercial building projects from blue prints and on site.All of my estimates involve some sort of structural steel.
The world trade center buildings were structurally redundant.This would easily allow the weight of the structure to shift from a damaged area to the rest of the steel grid below and be supported.That is unless the lower structure had been compromised in some way.The visual and eye witness evidence clearly shows explosions of some sort particularizing concrete,and shattering the redundant steel structure, blowing it hundreds of feet away from the buildings.The nearly free fall speed of the collapse states that there was little,if any resistance from the lower steel and concrete floors of the buildings.What eliminated the resistance of the redundant steel structure below the impact sites,turning the concrete into fine dust?A gravity driven collapse should have left concrete floors piled on top of each other in large chunks of very hard concrete.I believe the collapse of world trade center buildings 1,2 and 7 were all the result of controlled demolition with high explosives.

I am not a technical expert. I work about 8 blocks from where the WTC buildings once stood - in one of the largest federal buildings in the country - on the 41st floor.
I work in NY City but was not there on 9/11. It is hard to believe that so many innocent people were killed deliberately (it appears that most people would have made it out if there were only airplane damage and fire), but the evidence of controlled demolition is definitely there. It would have been impossible to absorb this at first - but now it stands out so clear. I have always had this instinctive reaction about not believing any subsequent terror alerts. Now I know why. My colleagues say that on 9/11, as they were evacuating out of our federal building, FBI agents were in the lobby rushing them out and saying clear the area = we're next.

The attack upon the WTC was highly suspicious. The fall of the towers and bldg 7 were even more suspicious and the official reports are highly suspect. After viewing the news coverage the first time right after it happened I knew a modern, expensive, concrete and steel superstructure should not be destroyed simply by being hit with a large aluminum object.

Regarding WTC 1 and WTC 2, it is impossible that these two buildings constructed of 200,00 tons of steel and over 400,000 yards of concrete could fall to the ground at virtually the same rate of speed as an object falling at free fall. In the case of Building 7 it is a model of controlled demolition and any objective inquiry will immediately verify this.
