To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

This does not imply 9/11 was a government conspiracy, but it does mean that important facts are being withheld from a public that has a right to know them. I believe the focus should be on Building 7, which underwent a symmetrical collapse that did not account for the mass resistance of the vertical pillars that were designed to hold the building up in the first place.

I`m a 25 year old engineer working for the Canadian Federal Government in Motor Vehicle Regulations. I have obtained my bachelor`s degree at Ottawa University in 2009. I have designed a steel structural chassis for an amphibious vehicle which was fully analyzed, designed, and documented with drawings for manufacturing of the parts.
The core column for the twin towers was a combination of massive steel rods and cement and were amongst the strongest steel columns in the world. A fire in open air could potentially have weakened the steel in the column at a single point on the 100-sotry buildings, although this is highly unlikely given the steel melting point is much higher than a fire by kerosene in open air. But the cement in the column would still have sustained the building upwards. The problem is the column could have flexed and broken at that point, but the building would have fallen sideways. The floors below were designed to sustain 10 times the weight of all floors above at full capacity. The only way the column could have collapsed upon itself is if it was brought to malleability from top to bottom simultaneously, including the skeleton structural steel rods. But this was not the case. And even if it was, all the floors, walls, and other structural components would have created resistance and the collapse would have been slow. What the evidence shows is that they collapse at free fall speed minus air resistance. This is only achievable in a controlled demolition which removes the matter with explosives before the above floors reach the ones below. This is not to mention building 7. You don`t need expertise to break that one down.

Like many other professionals I'm concerned about the visual evidence of controlled demolition of the three WTC buildings seen on many videos. This concern is reinforced by Niels Harrit et al's recent scientific analysis of the dust from the site finding nano-thermite - an advanced military explosive. It is furthermore reinforced by Hamilton's ignorance of the fact that the collapse of building seven is not mentioned at all in the report from the 9/11 Commission as expressed in a Canadian TV interview. He apparently had not read his own report. What I find especially alarming is the claim put forward by former Vice president Dick Cheney that an even greater similar catastrophe will happen again soon and then with nuclear explosives. This might become a terrible reality if a real investigation is not performed soon and the truth brought to the surface.

As a leader in the fire rated glass and metal systems supply I have witnessed and performed many tests to ASTM E119. For 20+ years we have developed, manufactured and supplied fenestration and framing systems with up to 2 hour ratings. Having a pilot scale oven and running the time/temp curve in development of new products I know how steel performs. I was one mouse click away from being on Flight 93 so it only seemed right to fight what I knew could not be.

My sincere hope is that there are enough honorable men and women, like yourselves, to win this conflict. UL is scum for keeping their mouths shut and I hope they are held to account as well. When I saw the towers fall it was very clear fire was not the cause. It is great to not be so alone in this view anymore. Controlled demolition beyond a shadow of a doubt! Isn't it a coincidence that the first three skyscrapers ever to be brought down by fire happened all in one day and to buildings which were built with the ability to withstand just such impacts and with a poor fire that was mostly smoke and little flame, and the third building, no. 7, wasn't even impacted.....

When first viewing the collapse of WTC towers 1 and 2, I found it incredible the uniformity of each collapse. Obviously, the planes had struck in different places, the fires could not have burned identically, yet the towers fell straight down as if some other force beside the plane collisions had unified the reaction. Yet, as the official story was in place, I did nothing with my own empirical questions. Still the sliver of it remained in my mind, and eventually I found myself on the internet looking for truth. It just didn't make empirical sense and I had to ask the hard questions that witnessing the horror of 9/11 demanded. I excelled at math and physics at school, read philosophy & economics at university, and have a successful career in Information Technology (including working as a software developer) - all of which should clearly indicate that I am a man of science and rational thought.
It is beyond belief that asymmetrical damage and fire could possibly lead to symmetrical collapse in such incredibly strong buildings, let alone for the destruction to occur at the near-freefall speed that is observed. This is only possible if the floors provide little or no resistance, and hence need to have been destroyed internally before the collapse zone reaches it. Finally, no genuine building collapse has ever been known to result in the pulverization of concrete (and the contents of the building, including computers, desks, and telephones) and the detection of fingerprint chemicals from thermite and other demolition explosives in the analyzed dust has no plausible explanation other than that they were used to demolish the building.

I am an artist and scientist who grew up with a constant curiosity of physics and science in general.
As a person who received a Bachelors of Science as a double science major who has completed two semesters in physics, I am in disbelief that the fall of the WTC buildings are attributed to anything other than controlled demolition. Anyone with a background in physics could see that a pancake theory is simply ludicrous. One would have twisting uneven forces affecting their fall, which did not happen.
