To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

From the photographs, I can observe hundreds of full-length girders being flung up and out around the tops of the buildings. No plausible official explanation explains this phenomenon as a product of collision of fires at lower levels; i.e., implosion due to the force of gravity could not have made the top explode. Furthermore, I observe white-hot molten metal pouring out of some of the openings; jet-fuel fires cannot melt metals to white-hot temperatures, especially with the preponderance of black smoke, which connotes oxygen-poor flames.

I have a B.S. in Applied Physics from Caltech, and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering both from the University of Michigan. I have two patents and several scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals. I received a prestigious Howard Temin early career grant from the NCI/NIH to fund my research in cancer and biomedical research during the past five years.
I visited NYC the weekend before the 9/11 demolitions and was lucky enough to see the Twin Towers before they disappeared from the landscape. I am fully convinced that Al Qaeda could not have been fully responsible for what happened on 9/11. I have watched 911 Blueprint for Truth and feel it is the most honest, lucid, and probable explanation for how those buildings were destroyed. I do not have any expertise in demolitions, but I understand basic physics concepts such as conservation of energy, conservation of momentum/angular momentum. There must have been additional energy imparted to those structures other than airplane impacts, burning jet fuel, and release of gravitational potential energy in order to take them down in the spectacular shock-and-awe fashion in which they were destroyed.

The evidence produced as the official story related to the supposed collapse of three buildings at ground zero in New York City simply cannot be true. Much more comprehensive, scienfitic evidence has been independently produced. Mounds of evidence were rapidly removed from the site, and the presence of molten metals and dust particles containing evidence of thermate are too compelling to ignore. The official story, however, does just that. It is an insult to our professional intelligence to take the official story at face value. Too many questions remain as to exactly what happened on 9/11/01.

The most academic and reasonable proof that 911 was committed by the US Government: The black smoke coming out of each building at the time of collapse means that the fuel was gone and the fire was dwindling. They had to be brought down before the fire went out to avoid being caught in the worst act of American Terrorism.

When first viewing the collapse of WTC towers 1 and 2, I found it incredible the uniformity of each collapse. Obviously, the planes had struck in different places, the fires could not have burned identically, yet the towers fell straight down as if some other force beside the plane collisions had unified the reaction. Yet, as the official story was in place, I did nothing with my own empirical questions. Still the sliver of it remained in my mind, and eventually I found myself on the internet looking for truth. It just didn't make empirical sense and I had to ask the hard questions that witnessing the horror of 9/11 demanded. I have reviewed much of the evidence available for public scrutiny and have learned the maximum temperature at which kerosene (jet fuel) burns and at which steel melts. Since I have found no precedent for a steel framed building collapsing as a result of fire alone, I have no satisfactory explanation for the WTC towers that doesn't involve planned demolition. I excelled at math and physics at school, read philosophy & economics at university, and have a successful career in Information Technology (including working as a software developer) - all of which should clearly indicate that I am a man of science and rational thought.
It is beyond belief that asymmetrical damage and fire could possibly lead to symmetrical collapse in such incredibly strong buildings, let alone for the destruction to occur at the near-freefall speed that is observed. I am an artist and scientist who grew up with a constant curiosity of physics and science in general.
As a person who received a Bachelors of Science as a double science major who has completed two semesters in physics, I am in disbelief that the fall of the WTC buildings are attributed to anything other than controlled demolition. Anyone with a background in physics could see that a pancake theory is simply ludicrous. One would have twisting uneven forces affecting their fall, which did not happen.
