PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I received my BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I have spent the last 13 years working in the power electronics industry, working on both commercial and military contracts. I also spent 6 years in the active and reserve Army.
The official story defies the laws of physics in many ways. There was clearly insufficient caloric content in the fuel that the planes would have had on board to melt the steel structure. There is no historical precedent showing evidence for a steel structured building collapsing as a result of a fire, or a plane impact, much less falling at the speed of gravity, and falling straight down, with all of the floors reduced to rubble. The only known building collapses that bear any resemblance to this failure were those intentionally destroyed with explosives. Furthermore, building # 7 was not hit with a plane.

From the day it happened, the WTC Building 7 collapse looked suspicious. Seeing the collapse for the first time seemed surreal and caused me to wonder how this building could possibly collapse and come straight down. There didn't seem to be sufficient damage to WTC Building 7 for it to collapse especially when considering that the entire building came down virtually within its own foot print. Therefore, if this was a planned demolition, then there is suspicion cast on the events of 9/11.

After viewing the documentation about the evidence surrounding World Trade Center 7, and comparing it to structural characteristics of building materials under fire conditions, the explanations given by NIST don't quite match up. While some structural failure of the building after prolonged exposure to fire conditions fueled by office materials is possible, large structural steel beams would yield slowly over time and the building collapsing all at once is all but impossible, unless it was engineered to do so.

The explanation that the intense heat of the fires caused the buildings to fall simply does not hold water. I would agree that the heat could weaken the structural steel, but the probability that the members would collapse in perfect unison so that not one but two buildings would collapse straight down is simply infinitesimal! The probability that Building 7 would fall many hours later from no evident cause is idiotic. As I say, I am not an engineer, but I know that demolition teams take weeks and weeks of planning and precisely timed charges to bring a down in the proper direction.

With a focus on structural engineering and design, I received a Bachelor of Science degree (with honors) in Architectural Engineering. I assisted in the design of bridge structural components for a large project for the Texas Department of Transportation. I designed reinforced concrete and steel components for bridges. I remember watching the towers fall on 9/11 and from that day forward, i have never accepted that it was not a planned demolition. It has always seemed to me that for them to fall straight down like they did would be a difficult manouver even for experienced demolition professionals, let alone a random event. For both towers to fall in exactly the same way just seems silly. The evidence is becoming overwhelming, and i believe that the official story will not stand the test of time. WTC7 was obviously pulled. WTC 1 & 2 also look like a demo, when you consider the amount of steel, its design AND the dynamic nature of cataclysm it is possible to see that the structures should have toppled over, and in the least, should have collapsed with 2 DIFFERENT results, NOT freefalling straight down. Warfare is a dynamic expression of constantly changing conditions, energy, and results. No 2 bombed out buildings go down the same way. All that structure simply cannot get out of the way with out explosive help. Also, it is painfully obvious that only high tech explosives were used to achieve this catastrophe, 2 incidents, exactly the same, exactly like a 1000 other planned demolitions. The 911 commission simply did not ask the important questions, and avoided the hard topics. The Dogget commission found the Feds no fault in the Waco conflagration, simply by ignoring and discounting the FLIR evidence. There are just too many unanswered questions about the technical aspects, and really, just how can one place all their faith in popular mechanics? Finally, where are the black boxes? Where was the Forensic investigation? In every other plane crash, these items are done FIRST!

Although I am not qualified to say what actually happened it does not seem logical that those buildings could collapse like that. I've heard from airline pilots that an inexperienced pilot could not possibly even hit the buildings, much less knock them down. Also why were there no videos of the Pentagon.

I feel that the so called investigation of the events of 9/11/01 is far from adequate. Too many unanswered questions. There must be a new independent comprehensive investigation, perhaps international.
