To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I kept watching the news for more information throughout the day until I saw the demolition of WTC 7 live and then knew for sure that there was more to who was behind the attack than what the media was telling us. Subsequent analysis, as found on the internet and in various publications released by non-government entities, have clearly demonstrated the validity of that conclusion for each of the three towers. The problem at hand is to achieve a government sponsored study that is truthful and fact based; education of the US population and electing a legislature that is reponsive to the US population is important though problematic.

After watching two of the videos on this website, and deliberating carefully and scientifically about the evidence provided, I have little doubt that the official NIST report findings were inaccurate and believe that there is a high probability that all three buildings collapsed due to controlled demolition via detonation of explosives. A comprehensive and fully independent study into the 9/11 WTC attacks should be carried out for the sake of all Americans to ensure that justice is done, especially for the sake of all the victims who died that day and their loved ones.

I attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville where I majored in Civil & Environmental Engineering and received a BS degree in 1975 and MS in 1977. I worked primarily for environmental regulatory agencies of the State of Tennessee in the areas of coal mining regulation focusing on water impacts and solid and hazardous waste. I retired in 2013.
From everything I have read (and I have been interested in this from the beginning and have read quite a bit) I seriously doubt that the impact of the planes or fires resulting from the plane crashes caused the collapse of the towers. A diesel fire just doesn't burn hot enough and not nearly enough heat near the top would be transmitted to the bottom of the support columns to cause significant weakening. Even in the unlikely event that a weakening and collapse of part of the structure started near the top, the lower structure would most likely retain enough strength to resist a 'pancake' type collapse. And if one accepts that the structure could collapse under the weight of the upper levels, it would be a slow, uneven collapse, not the 'free fall' type collapse that occurred. Such an event would only result from explosive charges placed throughout the building as in a controlled demolition which this most certainly was. And the fine pulverization of the structures also points to use of massive amounts of explosives rather than a slow collapse.

How the 3 towers failed defies the science and rules which we practice under as a profession. With respect to the future growth of knowledge, this event needs to be investigated correctly. I am absolutely convinced, based on the pattern of structural collapse, the positive results for nano-thermite by Dr. Neils Harrit in his oft-cited paper, and the suspicious behavior of the government during and after the official investigation, that the Twin Towers and Building 7 were brought down via controlled demolition. A separate, publicly funded investigation is necessary to catch the true culprits of this vicious crime.

I earned a bachelors degree from Florida International University in Mechanical Engineering in 1997. I have a very good understanding of machine dynamics and kinematics. I am a very successful reliability engineer because I understand the physics of how machines are supposed to work, and subsequently, why they don't work.
I was an FAA licensed airframe and powerplant mechanic before becoming a mechanical engineer, so I know that jet fuel is only kerosene. I was suspicious of the news stories that said that a jet fuel fire collapsed a modern steel frame skyscraper....as if kerosene had the heat capacity to melt steel or there were even enough calories in the fuel tank of a single airplane to melt the massive steel columns of the WTC buildings... all the way to the basement. It also bothered me that two chaotic events (separate airplanes hitting WTC 1 and WTC 2 in different locations) resulted in identical failures.

Concerning the events of 9/11, I think that the focus should be exclusively on the trust and integrity that we have in engineers and architects, which result in a very high level of public safety with regard to the structural integrity of our buildings. And, there should be a comparison of actual evidence with the official story. I knew that the official 9/11 story was a long way from the truth when I saw the original Loose Change video on 9/11. However, the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth have created even better quality arguments against the official story.

I have two undergraduate degrees: biomedical engineering, and applied mathematics. I am well versed in physics, and I almost completed my masters in Engineering Management. I work in the R&D department of an animal research equipment manufacturer. I had previously interned at the Penn State Electro-Optics Center working with Ultra-fast laser research.
Looking at the evidence objectively, I can only conclude that the plane crashes and resulting fires were not the sole cause of the collapse of the Twin Towers. The way the buildings collapsed indicated that there was some pre-meditation allowing for the near perfect collapse of the towers with no real damage to the rest of New York City. Furthermore, what most people forget, is that a third tower fell that day, WTC 7. I have yet to find a satisfactory answer as to why a few office fires and some falling debris could bring down the entire WTC 7 building in a manner identical to the other towers. The physics of it all make no sense based on the 'approved story', and I believe we deserve the truth.

While I am not the expert that so many are that have commented on 9/11, I did watch TV all day on September 11, 2001, and what I have seen and heard since leads to only one conclusion: all three towers were brought down by expert demolitionists who must have taken months to rig the buildings for destruction. The subsequent cover-up implicates the highest levels of government and of federal institutions.

The 'official story' is physically impossible. About the Pentagon it is so clear, the damage does not reflect the impact of a Boeing 757 which cannot go through 6 walls of 24in steel reinforced concrete. The engine of an airplane cannot vaporize, as the boiling point of Aluminum, titanium, and nickel is higher than the maximum theoretical temperature that combustion can yield at best condition (near stoichiometric). Similarly, the WTC towers cant fall down like they did naturally, so fast and straight, as the lower floors would inevitably slow down the fall from very basic physics (Newton's laws).

I watched events develop on 9/11. As an engineer, I know how big buildings are demolished using explosives. They collapse straight down in an orderly fashion so they do not fall over on adjacent buildings. It was very clear that in the twin towers collapse, they used exactly the same method.

As a civil engineer I know that the towers couldn't collapsed into themselves without the execution of a demolition plan. Steel does not fail in that manner.
