PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The more I inquired, the more I discovered that the official version was not credible. In 2007/2008, I did extensive research. I have read over 20 books related to 9/11. I watched movies on the internet. The shock was to visit ae911truth. Indeed, as an engineer I was looking for objective data and I found them! Also I looked carefully at the officials documents, mainly reports of NIST. To find the official explanation of the collapse of the towers. I was really angry, because there was no explanation! Only: And then the towers collapsed as the videos show ... Incredible! And even more when I discovered the case of WTC 7... I wrote a report (33 pages) which I entitled Indecent Proposal - Reopen 9 / 11 Report. I sent this document to my contacts, friends, family, etc... I was and now I am even more convinced that the official story is a lie. But I wanted to understand the why. I then continued my reading and my investigation: R. Heinberg - Mr. Chossudovsky - etc. And also the movie Oil Smoke & Mirrors. To find the last missing piece of the puzzle: the geopolitics of energy. I just finished the last book of D. Ray Griffin and I am currently reading one of Peter Dale Scott, who confirmed my convictions. Now I never see the world as I saw it before September 11, 2001 ...

As I watched the collapse occur on the morning of 9/11/01 I was shocked because I had been sure that the buildings would not collapse as I watched for the time between the impact and the collapse. The failure mode made no sense to me as I watched it. I read the article in the New Yorker about the structural engineer of the building about a month later. He wondered if the fault lay in a cost cutting measure at the time of construction that was forced on him - one in which less insulation was wrapped around the steel. He blamed himself for the failure. I find the 9/11 Blueprint for Truth Evidence far more convincing.

There's simply too much to ignore or dismiss. Conjecture about the US Government being involved in the destruction on September 11th, 2001 is insensible, and ignoring new questions and scientific evidence is equally insensible.

Another question that came to mind, being a former Navy pilot and knowing SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) for hijacked aircraft, was where were the interceptors? That is a question that has never been adequately explained, to my knowledge.

After witnessing a number of live video clips, documentaries, and after countless hours researching the available evidence, I believe we need to have a new, independent investigation about what happened on 9/11. The way the buildings fell looks like a controlled demolition. Building 7 has not been addressed sufficiently in my opinion. The mainstream media blackout of the event is shameful -- as is the lack of thought provoking discussion which does not seem to be permitted in any of the mainstream corporate controlled media mediums. This is very troubling.

I started residential construction at the age of 22 and worked in that field for more than 7 years in California with fairly high earthquake standards.
It is clearly a controlled demolition. Even a wood frame building would not suffer total collapse under the same conditions. If anything the upper damaged part would fall and the fire could be easily extinguished.

After seeing a number of other interviews with first responders ie: firefighters/police personnel regarding their comments that they heard explosions before the buildings began to collapse. There are too many things that occurred that day which cannot be explained away, or be explained in another way!!!! A fair dose of common sense can lead anyone who's not looking for an excuse to cover this up in the right direction.

What the 9/11 Commission Report stated as the explanation of the collapses of the WTC Towers, doesn't address what appear to be key elements of the evidence. I feel that we owe it to the people who lost their lives that day to have a full, independent, open investigation that answers ALL of the questions raised by the scientific evidence. I was at a software conference in Boston when it happened. I came home to San Diego by hitching a hide in the back seat of a car of another attendee. Crammed between golf clubs and suitcases...it was four days of adventure. I saw the country though. What a gorgeous country we have. The skies were empty. So strange. We kept passing the same cars going west. As time passed, I saw what Bush/Cheney were doing to America. Doubt crept in. I opposed their wars, especially Iraq. I began to question. Bush refused to investigate 9/11. Then he appointed a whitewash team. Then he wouldn't testify under oath, and only with Cheney present. I read Clark's book. It really bothered me. I found the Loose Change videos. That was my turning point. I didn't believe anything the govt. said about 9/11 after that. It has become apparent to me it was their new Pearl Harbor and they murdered 3,000 plus citizens to control America. It saddens me deeply that our govt. is so corrupt and no justice has been done. Over 1,000,000 Iraqis are dead. I don't know how many Afghanis. 5,000 of our soldiers now? And endless casualties; lives destroyed and damaged forever. For what? To control the flow of oil. So that a few become mega-wealthy. This is NOT what America should be. I'm sorry. You said non-political but I can't see this event any other way. I pray that someday enough people will wake up to change this injustice. I don't care how old they are, the people behind 9/11 should be brought to justice.

After seeing a lot of footage of the twin towers and Building 7 especially, I held grave reservations that those buildings could collapse so perfectly. It seemed to defy all reason.

I appears obvious that the twin towers would not have collapsed totally from just the impacts of two planes as evidenced by the imploding manner in which they fell. I totally doubt the official story and feel strongly that our government was involved in order to enhance their own hidden agendas. I suspect it was to manipulate public opinion to gain support for escalating wars in the Middle East, i.e., Afghanistan and Iraq and beyond. All of which are part of a larger, long range plan for Global Government.

I want to know exactly how the building collapses happened from a technical engineering standpoint.
I don't think the buildings should have collapsed from the plane collisions. Only the upper floors should have been damaged.

I'm tired of all the politics involved with the 9/11 issue. Americans want the Truth and we want it now.
After researching the evidence, I find it very likely that members of the US government were involved in not only the terrorist act itself but the cover-up that followed. A new independent investigative team should review the evidence (that have no ties to corporations, agencies or individuals involved with the world trade center attacks). When the truth comes out, and it will, those responsible in government (no exceptions) should be tried on treason and punished to the fullest extent of the law. Mandatory jail sentences with no parole and a forfeit of their personal finances to be given to the victims of the 9/11 attacks.
