To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in architecture from the Oxford School of Architecture, Oxford, UK. I then moved back to the US to work as an apprentice in the Master of Architecture program at the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, Scottsdale AZ. During this time, my interest in the connection between landscape and architecture grew. After spending a year as an apprentice, I met a multidisciplinary designer named Pliny Fisk in Austin, Texas. I then moved to work with Pliny on the Texas A&M solar decathlon project, and I eventually attended Texas A&M where Pliny was signature faculty in the architecture department. While completing my Masters degree in architecture, I constructed my off grid shelter in Tuscola, Texas near where I grew up. I also collaborated with numerous architects and designers on award winning building projects around the world. Since that time, I have continued to work on projects at a variety of scales and types with an emphasis on connecting buildings and people to places with design. I'm currently a project designer at Laguarda Low Architecture and Planning in Dallas, and owner of Taproot Studio: a residential and commercial design practice.
To AIA members who voted down AIA Resolution 15-6: Why wouldn't you investigate a circumstance indicating that current best practices in steel building construction are endangering the lives of everyone in and around the building? How could you assert that you are upholding the reasonable standard of care if NIST says that low temperature fires in steel buildings can and do lead to free fall collapse scenarios as seen in Building 7? While some of you may suspect that NIST is being deceptive, you may view the incidents of 9/11 as disconnected with your own life and practice. If so, you're wrong there. If you let building 7 go uninvestigated, you set the stage for a repeat scenario (and in so doing fail to uphold the professional standard of care), as it could be your building next. We don't know how to safeguard against the real threat until we investigate a circumstance and determine the cause. Anyone with university level education in architecture in the U.S. has no excuse for not demanding an investigation into the collapse of WTC 7 in the interest of improving design factors and codes for steel construction.

As an engineer, the evidence presented here seems to be overwhelming and definitely warrants further investigation and answers. As there is such an abundance of evidence to the contrary then I don't see any reason to not re-investigate 911 and get to the truth. Even if the official theory is correct, then a real and independent investigation will find that out anyways so there is nothing to worry about. If AE911truth are wrong, then they are wrong and we put it to rest, however if they are right, then the implications of this are huge. Good luck - I admire your courage, and fully support your call for a new, independent investigation into the destruction of the three skyscrapers at the World Trade Center on 9/11.

It was immediately obvious from examination of dust from all three towers that nano materials were used to damage the floors after aircraft impact resulting in smoke clouds of Al2O3 + micron spherical Fe particles. Also the supporting columns were cut using nano thermite.

Having seen footage of controlled demolitions I have a hard time believing two 110 story buildings could have fallen so cleanly into their own footprints without some careful planning. A child with a stack of building blocks could understand the likely direction of those buildings' fall. But, the damage to the Pentagon was really what convinced me we were not being told all of the facts. I've watched a lot of documentaries on plane crashes, and I find it incredibly hard to believe we would have seen no evidence of the plane wreckage around the building if, in fact, a plane did the damage.

If you believe the official story then you'd believe that if you whacked off the top 20 or 30 feet of a 200 foot tree and then lit a small fire on top of it that in rather short order that tree would collapse free falling into a pile of ash and pulverized chips. I'm still waiting for an official statement based on a professional investigation... Either the amount of kerosine or the kinetic energy of the aircraft can be responsible for bending, melting... powdering to dust solid steel beams along the cross section of a building like that with over 250 (!) of it. The fuel value of kerosine is nearly the same as diesel which also concerns the burning temperature. Show me one person on this earth that can melt, bring it to melt or powder a nail in equal conditions (less oxygen). The main part of this aircraft, the fuselage, consists of 2-3mm bended, riveted aluminum alloy sheet (mostly 3.1364), the only solid parts are the gear an most part of an engine that could accelerated take on with a steel beam - but not with that dimensions like in this building. How many of 250 could be affected by crash of a B-757...?

I was very interested in engineering in high school. I took many classes and a specialized course in engineering from University of Denver. I find myself to be a quite logical person and no matter what the outcome, I think the American people deserve a real investigation of 9/11.

I find that there is enough doubt and questions about the 9/11/01 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center from the American people that the government owes a more thorough investigation as to the events leading up to, and during the attack. It is a tough subject for all Americans, but to let such an event that has shaped US policy so profoundly go unscrutinized would be wrong. It may have been 10 years ago, but we still need to know definitively what happened that day.

Even to the lay person it appears clear that controlled explosives were used. Any reasonable person looking at the available facts can see that the truth has yet to be revealed about much of what happened on 9/11.

I attended a SUNY college were I first obtained my degree in Human Services, and then also received my AA in humanities and social science, with an interest in psychology. I have been in this country all my life. I read quite a bit and research as much as my brain and body can take. I strongly believe you do not need a degree from a college to find out and recognize the truth. Common sense, I believe, goes a long way. It's how we apply this common sense is what separates us from the 'I know now whats true' and the 'believe what bullshit is given to me' people. I wish the gap was not so far away from these two truths. Wish the gap would quickly go away with people, U.S. and the world, understanding each other and knowing when to call, 'bullshit.
Some of these people may not be engineers, architects, or have some other form of expertise under their belts, but we all share a question of 'what-is-out-of-context?' so to speak. This question has become a common place and an invitation to scrutiny for a growing number of just not Americans but people in other countries around the world. The truth is being brought to the service, only we, the people, can push hard enough if the number of us is great, to get the truth ultimately in the open and the people responsible no matter what title they assume, to pay for their gruesome and tyrant acts.

From the very first viewing of the twin towers falling - it was common sense obvious the towers did NOT fall, they were exploding. I have seen buildings fall; I have seen demolitions; these were demolitions. Building 7 was incredibly obvious, obvious to the point of being ashamed of what we have been asked to believe.

After watching several, 3rd party conducted, analytical videos of how the NIST has disregarded visible evidence that Building 7 fell at a rate only in accordance to free-fall and created models to show their false theories, I am incredibly skeptical of their investigation, of the government officials that employed the NIST to conduct this investigation, and of our government for possibly being the cause of such evil crimes.

I have watched many demolitions in my lifetime. I have always taken a interest in how it's done, and when I saw the Towers fall that day, I was 14 years old.
Building 7 had no damage but a few office fires and yet it fell just like any other controlled demolition, the middle slightly caved in and fell altogether at once.

I am a moderately well informed student of history, religion, science and human nature. I have long been aware of the difference between words and actions but the apparent acceptability of this in our culture prevented me from taking even modest action. I believe that knowledge as a means to understanding is the only hope for humanity's salvation and this is derived from God. I do not differentiate between religions because they serve their own purpose but the truth that unites are stronger then the lies that divide.
I think suspicious goes far enough. There are a lot of unanswered questions left unaddressed. The assassination of Bin Laden threatens to close the book on a subject that we have not yet learned our lesson in. Since our government had the most to gain from these attacks, this makes them suspect. It seems illogical to have the suspect determine its own guilt or innocence. An investigation is necessary and it needs to be fair, open and unbiased to be legitimate. The government should be required to supply the confidential information that it has on this subject sooner than later. Similar incidents in the past have been declassified and we should not have to wait decades to be given the truth.
