PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Looking back, I think because of the sheer horror of the event that I was in denial. My initial research into the WTC Building 7 collapse is what led me to research further. It became increasingly apparent that jets and fires were not what brought the three buildings down -- these were classic cases of controlled demolition. The American people need first to learn the truth about how those buildings really came down and then uncover who all were responsible, but I fear our main obstacle is that the foxes are guarding the hen houses.

In 2001, I was a mechanical engineering student at Texas A&M University when the planes hit the two World Trade Center Towers. Later, I changed majors and graduated with a Business degree, and I worked in the financial sector for a few years. Now, I work in the logistics field repairing crash/damage aircraft.
Aircraft fuselages are made mostly out of malleable lightweight aluminum. Typically, a fuselage made of such material could not severe so many steel columns. I picture such an accident to end up like a typical car crash, such as a car wreck wrapped around a telephone pole. Also, aircraft fuselages tend to have a lot of debris left after a crash. Flight 93 and the aircraft that hit the pentagon had barely any debris left as a result. This is highly ironic to have a crash with hardly any debris left over. Jet fuel fires could only have weakened the strength of the steel by 50%. World Trade Center building seven shows all the signs of a controlled demolition.

The day the towers fell, I remember watching the replay of the fall of the towers and noticing how there appeared to be an explosion at a single height on the tower that occurred on all sides simultaneously. I thought, and the commentators said, that it looked like a demolition. Within a few minutes, all commentators on all channels stopped saying that, even though it still appeared to be so. I have always found this unsettling. The jets hit the towers near the top. After hours of burning, the towers collapsed, supposedly due to an explosion in the basement. So why did both towers fall almost exactly straight down. It seems that an explosion would have favored one side in at least one of the buildings causing it to topple rather than collapse onto itself. There is a great deal that remains unexplained.

The only sure thing about 9/11 is that people died. The doubts that linger regarding the science of what occurred are significant enough to warrant a thorough investigation and report. The explanations as to the causes of building collapses given to us by the official investigations are ludicrous to me, and that's only knowing the basics of concrete and steel construction, as well as fire behavior in such buildings. I am not a professional, but the official statement of what exactly happened just does not compute for me. Also the particles found in the dust and the fact that there is no mentioning of it in the official explanation is a reason to give considerable doubt about this.

I am an electrician and son of a metallurgical engineer. My wife grew up in Brooklyn. About two months after the birth of our twins, her mother flew to Michigan from her home in Brooklyn on Monday, 9/10/2001, to visit us and to see her infant grand children for the first time. We were all together when the horrors of the following day began to unfold.
I first saw the movie Loose Change several years ago. I believe the A&E 911 Truth petition is an essential step to bring the science supporting doubts about the official story of the collapse of the three WTC buildings to those in positions of power and responsibility who dismiss the possibility of demolition, as well as to the uninformed or misled public.

I had the opportunity to watch quite a bit of television the first few days and was disappointed that reports of the explosions on the ground of the World Trade Center were never followed up on, and seemingly never pursued. I thought that was strange knowing that the mayor of New York was a former prosecutor, and certainly would be concerned with finding out about any reported wrongdoings on the ground that morning. 2 years later watching a National Geographic 3 hour documentary I realized that the official governmental story was possibly distorted by forces that I could hardly bring myself around to believe were HUMAN!
