PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The official stories of WTC building collapses do not make any sense in the physical world I deal with daily as an engineer. I fully concur with Fourteen Points of Agreement with Official Government Reports on the World Trade Center Destruction submitted to the Open Civil Engineering Journal. Especially with NIST's statement regarding WTC 7 that Although the total diesel fuel on the premises contained massive potential energy, the best hypothesis has only a low probability of occurrence. Further research, investigation, and analysis are needed to resolve this issue. Indeed it does require further investigation and as an engineer I take this language to mean that there is no official theory that adequately explains the collapse of building 7 of it's own accord.

I also cannot believe how the American people so easily accept whatever nonsense our newscasters and media put out without even applying basic common sense, let alone the laws of physics. In view of the pervasive reluctance of officials to release critical evidence, the numerous scientific and engineering anomalies and research results regarding the event, an unbiased investigation is imperative. Anomalies include: uncharacteristic free-fall collapse of buildings, hit or not hit by planes, complete destruction of buildings specifically designed to take impact of large airliners, never-before seen collapse of steel-frame buildings due to fire, persistent molten iron well beyond the temperature of burning fuel, projection of massive debris far from the towers, upward ejection of debris, complete pulverization of concrete and, it appears, even steel, evidence of thermate in dust plus the quick removal of twisted, severed steel columns from crime site. These are professional technical assessment issues specific to WTC 1,2&7. There are a multitude of other anomalies, and a chain of suspicious behaviors and subsequent hasty legal and foreign policy activities with suspicious basis, all which strip validity from all the ad-hominem attack arguments and scientifically untenable studies which have sought to discredit anyone honestly skeptical. Truth and reconciliation came to south Africa. In the land of the free and home of the brave, justice can and must be carried out. If the government story holds water, those who advocate it would only be vindicated and so no objection is reasonable.

The pancake theory of the collapse of the World Trade Center is not logical. It is clearly evident that the buildings came down due to pre-positioned explosive charges, set to go off in sequence. No other steel framed buildings have ever behaved in this manner due to fire. World trade center seven is even more proof that this whole thing was orchestrated by entities unknown.

The particular report that triggered alarm bells was the BBC reporting of the second plane crashing into the tower. I was watching a live transmission of BBC World in New Zealand and remember the very minute they broke into the regular broadcast with the incident of the first tower in New York. There was no doubt some confusion in the news rooms and i expected some uncertain details in the reports. I did not expect the complete absence of normal production standards, especially in a global newsroom The announcer was doing the talking head thing as the live transmission was broadcast behind her. the first tower was burning with a heavy dark smoke and the choppers where buzzing around looking for clues as to what had happened. Then the second plane entered shot and exploded as it penetrated the face of the second tower. i waited for the announcer to say something. The announcer waffled on repeating adnauseum the only thing they knew 'something has hit one of the towers at the World trade Center' nothing about the second building being hit. I waited. I waited a full four to five minutes before the words i will never forget we are getting reports that something may have happened to the second tower I always remember thinking the world witnessed that detail about five minutes ago so how come the announcer was not told what had been broadcast live on a screen behind her. This troubled me and was not raised as an issue until later in the day with the Building 7 fiasco where BBC World reported the collapse of a 47 story building twenty odd minutes before it happened. From that day i have been a Truther. I have limited resources but used creatively, i am finding numerous ways to bring questions to people, and answers to questions.

years ago i saw the nova documentary on the collapse, accepted it and never thought about it again. it was several months ago a friend (himself a mechanical engineer) brought to my attention the possibility of controlled demolition being used to bring down the towers. i went online and within thirty minutes (and having as well gained about fifteen thousand hours experience in construction since the nova video) was convinced that explosives were used to bring down the buildings - with building seven video being the so-called smoking gun, both the way it fell in on itself and the rate at which it fell seemed highly suspicious. to commemorate the tenth anniversary I spent some time looking at the videos again and spent time reflecting on the ramifications of the day and the implications of the truth being covered up. this left me a bit angry and wanting to do something. (currently I'm trying to figure out if an inelastic collision can described the pancake model of collapse, together with conservation of momentum and the equations of motion to come up with a minimum time, according to newton, of the collapse. surely someone has done this already?) best regards, troy mcgarrigle

There is no one specific event (however WTC7 is a bit of a no brainer) but there are so many holes in the official story that it would be hard to believe there ISN'T a cover up. If there is no cover up then why would the authorities withhold evidence that would prove their case. It makes no sense to do so does it? Pentagon video footage for example. As I'm sure no-one believes that a building of that nature would not be covered from every angle and in real time. I believe that anyone with a little common sense would question the official line.

I have always been concerned that something was fishy regarding how a high hit on the Towers could cause this kind of a structural collapse. I spent some time in aerospace during the moon lauch period and witnessed an oxygen/hydrogen fire on our test stand during hot firings. The metal burned because of the high fire temp, but did not collapse. Yes, the floors above the impact area rightly collapsed due to lose of structural integrity but that has no bearing on the lower floors collapsing.

WTC Building 7 fell on Sept. 11, 2001. All video evidence implies that the building fell from a demolition explosion, not from a fire as previously suggested. There was found evidence of thermite at the site that has never been investigated. It is time now, to fully investigate. I have been involved in construction for years. I have seen the implosions of buildings brought down to make room for newer taller buildings. I know beyond a doubt what an imploded building looks like when it comes down and i have seen a building after one side did not come down immediately.

Free fall speed of a collapsing steel building with no resistance from the undamaged part of the structure itself. The Laws of Physics suspended; how is this possible? 7WTC collapses with very little impact damage from the planes. The WTC site was technically a crime scene but evidence was allowed to be removed without investigation. Unexplained explosions in the sub-basements of one of the WTC building; I think it was the North Tower.

Years ago I read about and saw videos of the Conspiracy Theory and explanations about how the towers actually fell. I believe the investigation should continue.

I was in New York on 9/11/01. It was my home. I would like to add my name to the others asking for a new investigation to uncover the truth about what brought the towers down. Policies undertaken in response to the events of that day have caused so much human suffering. The official explanation makes no sense to me. From history I can see that if I do not speak up, I am endorsing all that has followed. I cannot do that.

I just can't believe official story. We need truth. There are too many contradictions in the official theory. It's not a chance that it justifies the American foreign policy. Passports found intact, the trajectory of the plane into the Pentagon, WTC 7 falling on its base after fire, for me it's too big to be believed. I studied the mechanics of static and dynamic forces and also have some knowledge of material strength, my instinct leads me to skepticism.

The collapse of WTC 7 in perfect demolition style within minutes of the owner Larry Silverstein giving the Fire Dept. Chief direct orders to Pull It (as seen on video and heard on audio) is enough evidence that 9/11 was in fact an inside job. There is no reason for this building to collapse in almost free fall speed into itself from a few office fires.

NIST itself reports the jet fuel from the airliner impacts burned off within fifteen minutes. Small office fires do not bring down major steel structures. One hundred and eighteen official eyewitness testimonies to explosions throughout the buildings completely ignored by the mainstream media and never even considered by NIST. Firefighter communications describing small pockets of fire on the upper levels minutes before implosion. Clear evidence of molten metal ignored, illegal removal and destruction of crime scene and evidence of high tech explosives.
