The AE911Truth Petition
To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I am not an engineer. I am a nurse. I possess adequate investigative skills and common sense, which I think are all that are required to decipher the truth.
I was exposed to the truth of 9/11 by a c-span presentation on 'FORA.TV entitled Theories of September 11th'. This was October of 2007. I was impressed and began my own research. I was convinced it was an inside job when I heard the statements of people coming out of the WTC stating there were explosions in the sub-levels that killed, maimed, and burned people. How could that be unless there were people on the inside? The official story did not stand up to examination. My view of the world was radically changed that day. I have not been the same since. We who know are compelled to action.

I started my working career as a piano technician. I went through the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Machinist Apprenticeship. Later got a BS in Mech E from Seattle University, then spent 4 years with Boeing as a Liaison engineer in the Wing Responsibility Center. Finally worked 16 years with US Navy as a Nuclear/Radiological engineer.
The NIST scenarios are not believable. The WTC 1 collapse is equivalent to crushing two US Nimitz class nuclear carriers in 10 seconds, given that they have about the same amount of structural steel. It's simply not possible. The NIST explanation for the WTC7 collapse is even more ludicrous. Their model shows massive failure at the back of the building, but somehow that doesn't distort the glass windows on the front of the building. I used Working Model 2D to model the effects of the conservation of momentum on WTC1. It showed that the upper stories would be significantly slowed by impact with the lower stories, adding several seconds to a free fall collapse, which takes it outside of the actual collapse time. Ergo, the lower floors were already falling when they were hit by the upper floors. Frankly, I'm extremely disappointed by the almost total lack of curiosity displayed by most of my working colleagues over the years. Lots of really smart guys who lacked the courage to ask a few rather obvious questions.

I'm a curious citizen of this country and I have questions that no public official has been able to answer. The lease holder of the WTC complex said in his own words we decided to pull the building. I have never heard of this being possible to do in 1 day. It is my opinion that this nation has the strongest homeland security and there must have been stand down orders of some sort. I do not believe the official story!

B.S. Materials Engineering at NMIMT, class of '78 . Did some graduate work in Materials at Stanford but did not finish as I joined a more exciting effort, a start up named Starstruck formed to launch a rocket for delivering satellites into near earth orbit. Then went onto another start up, Metcal, using shape memory alloy materials in creative applications. In my third start up, Crystallume, I designed and built the first system in a garage to grow diamond from methane gas. Now I own a regular company that inspects and tests fire trucks throughout Ca & Co.
After reading everything I could find for four months on the subject to where my head was spinning, I realized that all the evidence you need to see the truth is in the 10 second video of the Bldg. 7 collapse. You don't need an engineering degree to see it.

I have been in the Mechanical Engineering field for over 25 years and have a strong working knowledge of structural mechanics and physics.
It is very obvious from the data collected that these buildings were taken down by controlled demolition. The highlights include the near free fall velocity at which they fell, the periodic lateral explosions that preceded the fall of each zone, the manner of collapse, and the evidence of thermite in the rubble.

I had 4 years of school at Oklahoma Christian University, a private ABET accredited university in Oklahoma. I graduated with a B.S.E.E. I worked for Boeing for 2 years and studied electrogmagnetic effects onboard military aircraft. There is no other rational explanation other than a controlled demolition. Even someone without a degree could see that the pattern is completely consistent with a controlled demo and that there is no excuse for an entire skyscraper to fall at nearly free fall speed with zero resistance below it. Additionally there is no evidence presented to explain how the top sections of 1 and 2 were vaporized into dust within seconds of collapse. Clear evidence of squibs from every camera angle far below the point of impact. Complete impossibility of cell phone calls being made at such altitudes and speeds as claimed. Far exceeds the capabilities of 2001 technology much less the technology of cell phones today.

I was 15 and my basic Physics class won't be until next year. I saw the 'live' coverage of the second plane hitting the tower. I thought it was a Hollywood film advert. Unfortunately, it was news. But I had a few questions, why didn't the plane get crumpled upon hitting the tower? Why did the towers collapse? Must have been tons of jet fuel to melt steel. For the rest of the year, I followed the crowd- hate the Muslims. And I went on to my boring life for another dozen of years not paying much attention to 9/11. But two years ago, my partner showed me pictures at ground zero. He asked me 'What do you think of this? That rekindled a fire I long strayed away from. If it collapsed because of weight of debris as they say, there would be no straight line. Like a can of soda smashed from the top. And oh, what happened to the resistance of the bottom floors so that it collapsed at free fall? So it began. My 'obsession' as I call it. Breadcrumbs after breadcrumbs. Now armed with engineering knowledge and after the dust of emotion settled, I see things clearly now.

The official stories are just impossible to believe, the exact same failure/collapse on three buildings, only two having been even struck/damaged. Falling in free fall into their own footprint (path of greatest resistance!). In fact, in Structural Engineering classes at Montana State, the scenario of an airliner hitting one of the WTC Towers was actually studied, (and determined to be safe). The professor discussed that this scenario was actually considered in the design of the towers, and they were designed to withstand it.

Had some doubts about the twin towers collapse soon(several months)after 911 but did not pursue the matter. Heard from others stories of 'conspiracy' but got the feeling from relatives who lost loved ones that day that any discussion of an 'inside job' was hurtful for them. In total I 'went along' with official story - but always felt that it was strange that the 'top floors' plunged straight down so smoothly and didn't tumble off to side. The Truth in Focus conference was a welcome relief for me. To hear the analyses from others who know that physics does not take a 'day off'.

From the visual, audio, physical, and individual testimonial evidence, it is not possible to believe the official account of how the World Trade Center Buildings collapsed, most certainly World Trade Center Building 7 did not collapse from fire alone. The official account of the buildings' collapse is not scientific, not based on review of the buildings remnants, and woefully inadequate in explaining the mechanisms of the buildings' demise.

Engineers don't really understand politics. We understand laws of motion as set forth by Isaac Newton. (It is probably not necessary to extend Newton's laws to incorporate relativistic effects in order to explain the events surrounding 9/11, 2001). I seek a narrative that stands the test of physical observations. Misdirection and oversimplifications fester in the form of distrust. The US Government is worthy of the truth, needs the truth and deserves the truth, regardless of the direction the investigation takes. Only the truth can preserve our existing government and keep Americans free.

Graduating with a Masters Degree in Mechanical engineering. As manager of a construction materials testing laboratory in NYC I design and manage the construction of large scale steel structures in a laboratory setting. The structures incorporate a lot of different elements of the building including the buildings windows, wall panels, curtain walls, and store fronts. On these mock-ups I conduct a myriad of structural tests, impact tests, air and water leakage tests. We can apply uniform wind loads using air pressure to apply force to facade elements and examine damage, measure, deflection, or even just blow out the windows. A colleague of mine also offers blast testing of windows doors and glass.
The ultimate destruction of all three towers in the word trade center can only be explained with high tech military grade explosive devices that would have taken multiple days of work to install. For these reasons all 'terrorist attacks' need to be investigated by unbiased investigators. All we want is the truth but are denied a proper investigation because the usual suspects (intelligence agencies colluding with the media) continue to bamboozle the American people in the present day.

On 9-11-2001 I was employed at American Airlines as a 767-757 Captain, and had previously operated both the 767-200ER aircraft which struck the WTC tower and the 757 which struck the Pentagon. From my perspective as an airline pilot and a professional civil engineer, it was apparent that the official explanation of the event was illogical. I welcome the opportunity to participate in the AE 9/11 efforts.

The lack of structural damage to building 7 coupled with the free fall collapse onto itself does not line up with the official story. As an aerospace engineer, I also find that the skill required to pilot the planes per the official story would be beyond the skill set of the supposed hijackers.

The investigation into the events of 9/11 does not seem to have met the high standards appropriate for any event involving loss of life and national security.
