PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. I managed large gun programs for the military. I have experience in root cause analyses when the unanticipated occurs.
Here is my synopsis of the situation: 1. The 3 World Trade Center buildings that collapsed were designed to withstand commercial jet impact and the subsequent fire. Unless the design margins were compromised, they should not have collapsed. 2. If the design margins were compromised, and they were reason for the collapse, the buildings would still not have collapsed in the extremely controlled fashion that was observed. Thus, design margin does not appear to be the cause of the collapses. 3. In searching for a plausible cause, the evidence first pointed to explosives. Evidence of explosions was provided by the numerous people that reported hearing them, by the evidence of high velocity radial trajectories of debris, and by the degree to which the debris field was pulverized. 4. The evidence then pointed to demolition-class explosives. Evidence of demolition-class explosives was provided by people seeing molten steel in a fire that should have been at least 1000 F below steel's melting point, by the debris field being permeated by bb-sized steel-based spheres that shouldn't have been 'vaporized', by the presence of elements unique to a demolition-class explosive in the debris field, and by the fact that all 3 buildings 'free fell' to the ground as if their infrastructure had suddenly disappeared (as is typical of demolition). 5. The evidence finally pointed to the use of military-grade demolition-class explosives. 6. If the conclusions from this evidence prove true, and to date they have not been refuted, the group of people responsible for the destruction of the WTC buildings remain at large, and the threat that destroyed the WTC buildings remains. 7. Unfortunately, the official root cause report does not account for the use of explosives at all. 8. For the United States to hold its own in a rough world, the reality of the situation must be irrefutably determined, and appropriate corrective actions taken. The current official report may be right, incompetent, or a cover-up. If the current official report does not withstand challenge, and the demolition claim stands, corrective actions must be taken against the people responsible, as well as the people that authored the root cause report, either for incompetence or for a willful cover-up. To do otherwise is to encourage a repeat performance.

I have witnessed & have seen many videos of building demolitions. I have investigated buildings toppled by wind. I have investigated a fire in the core of a high-rise hotel building and one in an open air garage. It is obvious to me that the 911 towers were demolished with explosives. The fire in the twin towers was like that of cars burning in an open garage building-the fire can not become hot enough to cause enough structural members to deform to the point of failure. Building number 7 collapsed just like any other controlled demolition I have witnessed. The buildings did not topple.

I'm convinced there are multiple indications that the buildings were deliberately brought down in engineered destruction. In my opinion the towers were brought down by removal of the core structure using mainly the nonconventional cutting charges consistent with the properties and the relative amount of the remains and residues of the nanothermite material discovered by Harrit et al. in the dust samples. I believe the whole installation of the charges, if well planned in advance, could be made by a team of ~10 people in each of the towers during one extended working shift. In the case of WTC7 I believe the David Chandler's analysis strongly implies the onset of the destruction was made by explosive removal of at least several whole lower floors and the rest of the destruction was gravity/momentum driven as in the cases of conventional controlled demolitions.

I believe that 9/11 was a planned attack. It's too coincidental that something like this would happen/could happen on one of the largest war games days in history. Among other things, there is too much evidence that points to either government involvement or knowledge of the attacks. NIST has changed its explanation for the collapse of WTC Building 7 at least 7 times. On September 11, 2001, President George W. Bush arrived in a classroom at Emma T. Booker Elementary School in Sarasota, Florida, to read to students after being informed of the first WTC strike and continued after Chief of Staff, Andrew Card, informed him of the second attack and quickly withdrew as he apparently expected Bush to not respond. Bush's itinerary had been publicized and the nearest airport is four miles away. Assuming the hijacked airplane attack was an outside job, Bush would jeopardize the entire school. Smoking guns also include the collapse of WTC Building 7, the discovery of thermite in the WTC wreckage, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, twice publicly stating that Flight 93 had been shot down; BBC Reporter, Jane Standley, and CNN Reporter, Aaron Brown, reported the collapse of WTC Building 7 before it had occurred.

The manner in which all the buildings fell, in a free fall, indicates that only an explosive demolition process could have been the cause of their collapse. This is basic science. The official government explanation that the collapse of the buildings was due to a plane crashing into them makes no scientific sense. And of course there was no plane that crashed into building 7.

There is a great need for truth on this matter. The psychological healing and redirection of anger needs to be addressed, and I feel that this is a great start. I have only a general understanding of physics and mechanics, yet it is all very clear that 9-11 was orchestrated by the US Government (Shadow Government). Anybody with any sense on 9/11 who knew about buildings, especially steel buildings, should have known that: 1. The aircraft would not have had the force to bring down the huge cores, especially in the manner in which they fell. Building 7, well I don't even think there's any need for comment on that one, the laws of physics were shattered that day. I admire what AE911Truth is doing. If nobody's got anything to worry about, let the people choose its own investigation teams (all independent) to look into every possibility. If the American People don't mind paying over $40 million for Clinton's lies, then another $40 million to expose Bush, Blair & co, is great value for the money. Well done and keep up the good work.

Any rational, moderately educated, unbiased individual with a rudimentary knowledge of physics could AT LEAST find troubling aspects to the official United States Government version of why and how the Twin Towers and Building 7 fell. The far reaching ramifications of not uncovering the truth through understanding the scientific facts of the 9/11 event make it absolutely imperative that anyone who currently accepts the official version allow themselves to set aside emotion, political affiliation, religious belief or whatever subjective convictions they may hold and evaluate the 9/11 event based on the irrefutable laws of science. If we do not approach this incident through a true criminal investigation we will have no one to blame but ourselves for sacrificing our liberties and basic human rights.
