PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Didn't seem right from the get-go. Spoke to an electrical engineer during an inspection on the morning of 11 Sep 2001. He had not yet heard that the two towers had collapsed, and couldn't believe, from the simple facts we knew at the time, that aircraft impacts could precipitate a collapse of the World Trade Towers. Soon the President announced names of the highjackers who had crashed the planes, and propagated the story of Al Qaeda as the terrorism perpetrators. Right, and a highjacker left a passport that survived the pulverization of the Towers! Too many plain tall tales and improbable explanations surround the circumstances of that day. Now we can begin to understand that, as Barry Zwicker's Towers of Deception book sketches out, the traumatic shock of the spectacular experience makes the mind need explanation, and the initial propaganda catapulted by Bush and the media that most people did accept as explanation even if tentatively, causes pain when contradicted by countering evidence. Statements of the A/E professionals here provide ample brief summary of that evidence.

I have 20 years post graduate experience as a structural engineer working in the offshore oil and gas, and laterally, renewable energy sectors. I have been running my own consultancy company for the last 10 years providing structural engineering services to offshore wind, wave and tidal energy projects.
The collapses of the towers appear to happen in a symmetric fashion at free fall velocity - indicating the use of demolition. Molten metal in the basement and columns sliced neatly at 45 degrees indicates the use of thermite. The collapse of Building 7 is particularly suspicious given that it was only hit by falling debris - and if was going to collapse at all - it certainly would not have been symmetrical - nor complete.Fire endurance tests with actual models failed to cause collapse. The NIST structural simulations - are not full simulations from the moment of impact to final collapse and the failure mechanisms seem to have been manually adjusted rather than relying on the pure physics capabilities of the software. The pulling forces on the perimeter columns by the sagging floors were adjusted' (NIST, 2005, p. 142) to cause yielding. A full and proper non-partisan peer reviewed set of analysis simulations has yet to be carried out. I suspect proper simulation will verify the physical model test results i.e. the buildings would not have collapsed due to aircraft impact alone.

Having watched several documentaries on the destruction of the towers, I have come to the conclusion that the latest information I saw in PBS supports my belief that the destruction of the towers was NOT a normal collapse for bldgs of their type. My experiences with explosives and cutting steel using military demolitions supports the evidence I saw on this informational documentary. I DID believe the initial graphic documentaries describing structural failure of the steel pins attaching the exterior shell to the center core. However, the evidence of explosions, and the chemical traces that have were shown in 911truth documentary are correct in my opinion and support a further investigation as well as prosecution of the parties involved in ordering the destruction of the towers. Lastly, the suggestion that the purpose of the war in Afghanistan is to seek out the cause/director of the plane bombs leaves me with great disappointment and a failing faith in the leadership of this country.

If we look at WTC 7 and think that a few floors of office fires can make a steel structured building like that fall straight down at the speed of gravity - free fall, then I am sad to be a human being. Amazing. How do indestructible jet engines disappear? How do bodies and blood, disappear? Wake up America !!! Osama Bin Laden is EXACTLY what Lee Harvey Oswald was......a patsy. Tie in Afghanistan to Iraq saying Iraq was harboring terrorists, then plant the idea that Iraq has WMD's. Recipe for war folks. False flag operation. They admitted, NO WMD's were found. I remember sitting in class at ISU as the instructor canceled class to watch news coverage on 9-11. I remember being surprised that the building hit second was the first to disintegrate. I also was surprised that a plane crash could cause a building to disintegrate. I believe that there were explosions on the first floors or a controlled demolition. I would like to know more and believe that there is a cover up concerning this topic and the possibility of this happening. People who had first hand experiences with the collapse of the World Trade Centers that have said that they first heard and felt explosions below them have suddenly died mysteriously and their claims have just disappeared. How can a Boeing 747 disintegrate? No wreckage, no jet fuel in the ground or water and no sign of any passengers? I do not see how this is possible. The plane that hit the Pentagon was also disintegrated. How can planes with steel and titanium engines just vanish? No engines, no wings no sign that they were actually there. I believe we have the right to know and somewhere in our government lies the truth about 9/11.

Then the first building came down like there was no super structure in place, it fell straight down into it's own foot print! I have been a state licensed building contractor in the state of Florida for 20 years and have read many blueprints, even finding flaws in some architectural engineering that could not conceivably work. I have a hands on knowledge of how buildings are put together down to the foundation. I like to trace and find reasons for structural failures.
The way that the WTC were build to withstand such tremendous stresses would not allow the buildings of such a large floor area to collapse so evenly upon itself when the planes and fuel only weakened one side of the floors. There were also walls on the floors that would prevent the fuel from freely flowing throughout the floor. What I see in every building collapse is too much uniformity in the way that the total floor collapsed as a whole, without resistance from the non damaged side.

I was raised on the scientific method, in a family of scientists, and I found the evidence of controlled demolition convincing. I always felt it was wrong to make war against Iraq or Afghanistan or terrorists as revenge against terrorists if they were responsible for 9/11. (I always said, George W. Bush shouldn't take Osama bin Laden as his role model, kill a bunch of people, and get the whole world against him.) But if Americans were responsible for 9/11, as I'm now sure an independent investigation will show, this makes the revenge idea absurd and meaningless, and makes the wars against Iraq, Afghanistan, and terrorists even more unjustified and immoral. Also, to deprive Americans of our basic American rights and freedoms (right to know the charges against us, right to a lawyer, right to a speedy trial) is letting the terrorists win at destroying America in an even deeper way, if terrorists were responsible for 9/11. But if Americans were responsible for 9/11, depriving all Americans of our basic American rights and freedoms is absolutely absurd and immoral in the extreme.

On September 11, 2001, I watched major network coverage of the alleged 9/11 attacks, from just after the first Tower was reportedly hit by an aircraft until after WTC7 fell late in the afternoon. The reports from the news agencies that a third building was going to fall from damage was known in advance. The word was, that a third building may collapse, and it did. It took about a year before I realized that WTC7 had not been irreparably impacted by falling debris and that video footage of WTC7 revealed a structure that was not damaged on a level that would cause a free fall collapse. Later, Larry Silverstein was shown in the infamous PBS video about pulling WTC7. Forthcoming video confirmed it: controlled demolition of WTC7. There would not be enough time to plant extensive explosives in WTC7 on the day it fell. There was no surprise attack. It all worked as planned, and the American media to this day, support the lie that 9/11 was a surprise attack carried out by foreign terrorists.

I may not be educated when it comes to architecture or controlled demolition, but I can certainly say that it is common sense and obvious that it was a controlled demolition for many reasons.
I'm a strong believe of truth and justice, and neither of these has been met in the past 10 years since it has happened.

I am a working class person. I have no degree. I know that what I was told about the destruction of the WTC and Building 7 do not make sense to me and am just looking to find out the truth based on what I have been learning from College Educated Professionals who have been in the business of building and designing buildings for years and have the credentials to back them up. I believe in the truth, regardless of whether or not we want to know. It is necessary, I also believe, that the truth lets us know which direction we need to go in order to take care of ourselves and make sound decisions. It sets us free from fear and also provides the natural progression of things to take place for the better. I have no affiliation to 9/11, and other than that, I am a human being and have a high regard for humanity. I believe that transformation cannot take place without awareness. Please bring light to the truth.

I work for a family business in South Eastern New Hampshire. Just a very curious person. Seeing car collisions on a daily basis, I have some awareness of how strong any modern structure is today, whether it be a car or a building.
Everything about the collapses are amazing in their own way and nothing about them AT ALL resembles a natural collapse. None. All of the white smoke trailing off of the beams at a constant pace. There is absolutely ZERO floors left of either of the 3 towers, yet somehow a couple Hotels/Banks which were dumped on by thousands of tons of molten thermite laden beams were still able to stay standing to some degree.

Anyone who does any true unbiased research on this matter can only come to one conclusion. That conclusion is that 9/11 total building destruction was done by explosives. The second conclusion, after arriving at the first conclusion, is that people in the highest offices of government had to know about it.

I'm a Midwest girl studying to be a chef. I have a love for art and photography as I love to take photos of the clouds, birds, horses and flowers, as well as what I make for breakfast, lunch or dinner, for my personal records.
When I saw the planes hit, I said they have to implode the Towers to rebuild them. What happened next was a systematic implosion of both Towers, and this would not happen as the Towers were built to resist collapse due to an office fire. This was intentional implosion of both Towers. There is no way, two very strongly designed buildings could fall with the damage caused. Something else other than the planes caused the towers to come down.

The whole public explanation for what happened on September 11th does not make any sense even to a layperson. There was no reason for Building 7 to fall at free fall speed, as the result of small fires. This building was designed to withstand much more. For the sake of all American's who lost their lives we want a truthful explanation that includes the presence of thermite and the funding for the attacks. For the official government reports to not include this is not good enough.
