To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

My name is James Alexander Moore, I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and worked in construction for two years before going to Wittenberg University for Political Science. I have never felt contempt with the official 9/11 Commission and would like to see an independent investigation especially into the WTC7 collapse. I have always taken the events of September 11th very seriously, with flight 93 crashing only an hour drive from my home. I demand to see a proper investigation of all the events that took place that day for the families of the victims and for the people of the world that have dealt with the consequences of our reaction to that day.
The manner in which Tower seven collapsed was unlike Towers 1 and 2 in that it seemed to completely cave in on itself. I did not see one side fail before another. Therefore if the fires on the one side of the Tower were responsible for the collapse it would have fallen in that direction. Towers 1 and 2 both collapsed from the point of impact taking out the stories below it in a domino effect. I witnessed nothing like that with building 7, it was identical to a controlled demolition. From the evidence I have been presented I feel obligated to sign this petition to have a true legitimate investigation into the collapse of the World Trade Towers.

I have 10 years of experience in the construction industry as an architect, mostly in conservation (as well as sustainable architecture). Conservation necessitates looking at old buildings and existing evidence of what happened in the buildings life. Looking at how buildings deteriorate or fail sometimes and assess method of rescue, reuse, adaptation and so on, is part of my everyday livelihood and experience.
Looking at the evidence of the 9/11 it makes me question what the media and government had broadcasted at the time, and that the debris was swept away so quickly without scientific investigation is not right. We need to learn from the experience, not run away from it. If we are to protect people's lives in the future, we need to know what the real destruction process was, how any aspect could be improved (whether it is building design/layout, engineering or security... ) and not let the distraction of the crashing planes play smoke and mirrors with us. Facts, for better understanding. Truth, for building a better future.

I became a licensed architect in the state of Indiana through the grandfather clause in 1977. During my career I taught construction technology at IUPUI, Ivy Tech, and Vincennes Universities. At the here and now, we must find the courage and perseverance to uncover and confront the truth wherever it may lead. Only then can we begin the work of fashioning a better world. I am proud of our profession for taking the lead on this issue. While I received a BS in ChemE some time ago, I have spent little time pursuing that elusive career. I have instead pursued other interests. This would not make me an expert but I do believe that my studies in the field do qualify me to claiming a science based opinion as to what smells and what doesn't.
With the passage of time, the preponderance of evidence related to the WTC collapse events indicates to me that there are many ignored questions which need to be addressed. IMO failure to address these questions through a proper investigation will only serve to fuel rumor and sensationalism and this is matter I think we would all prefer to see finally resolved and relegated to history.

I am/was a project engineer with 15 + years in the energy industry and exposure to gas engines and fuel combustion. I have experience in ASME/AWS code material (steel) selection and material strength calculation and loading analysis, plus pressure / temperature calculations.
The nearly uninhibited free-fall of all 3 buildings is contrary to laws of physics (Newton's laws of motion and the conservation of energy / first law of thermodynamics). The collisions during the building collapse (i.e., upper floors dropping into lower floors) would demand that the falling body (upper floors) should slow down far below natural gravitational acceleration value (32.174 fl/s^2 or 9.81 m/s^2) due to momentum and collision losses. The momentum / mass of the lower stationary floors (f=m*a and m1v1 & m2v2 products) would reduce the average speed and acceleration rate of the falling mass, and 2) the energy absorbed (force * distance) via the collision and material distortion (i.e., steel bending), or material disintegration (i.e., concrete crumbling) as the falling upper floors collided with the floors beneath must also reduce the acceleration rate. Also, the jet fuel and office fire burned BLACK (indicating an oxygen lean/fuel rich fire), which would not produce a temperature hot enough to melt such a massive steel structure, much less weaken the structure to the point of collapse, especially as the collapses do not occur with any sort of directional bias (falling toward the failure or weak point).

If we rely on multiple videos and testimonials of firefighters and people who were there, there really were this day the unexplained explosions. One does not need to be building engineer to have serious doubts about the explanation of the government in dealing with these events.

His message was the first one that ever made sense to me. As I grew up and got older, I continued to be politically active. While watching live CBS coverage of the 9/11 tower collapse, my father and I saw what appeared to be a series of detonations one right after the other in a sequence around the building just before one tower fell. My Dad and I both instantly stated how much that footage looked like a controlled demolition. That footage was then taken out of all other replays that we saw. I question this in light of all that has occurred since that time. Engineers speak out and now that just makes me more concerned. We over night became a nation of fear and war. Personal liberty is being sacrificed for promises of security. Our Constitution is no longer a guide force for government. As a freedom loving American, this greatly concerns me, and I feel we should at least explore the possibility that there may be agendas and persons at play who have other plans for our country which conflict greatly with what our founding fathers would have wanted and what is truly best for our nation.

I was there when the first explosion happened that killed the pregnant woman working in the collection booth in the basement and knew they would try again. One year after that I knew that New York was NOT the place for me, so I moved across the country far away from all the trouble that New York City attracts and wound up in Las Vegas.

Since the day of the incident I have known that something wasn't right. I watched live on television as witnesses and reporters reported bombs and explosions, then immediately thought it odd that there was never another mention of it. The trauma caused by the shock of that day has put our nation in a PTSD fueled state of denial that I have spoken about for years and not until the A&E documentary had I heard anyone else talk about it. I don't know who attacked us that day but I do know that there would be no reason to cover up something you had nothing to do with, and our government has shamelessly lied and covered up evidence. I support and encourage continuance of the work done by A&E for 9/11 Truth. It is the most important issue of our time even if few realize.

I have had some college, but no engineering experience. The major I seek is acting/musical theatre. But I'm not stupid - I have looked at the 9/11 Commission Report (not completely finished reading) and already I have burning questions about that day, that I feel like I have no resources to research for an answer.
I find it disturbing that the WTC buildings would look so scarily close to a controlled demolition. Furthermore, it is extremely hard, isn't it, to hide the chemistry of an explosion or chemical reaction? The evidence is so solid, and we're years apart from 9/11 now, that we all as a country need to look at this a little more objectively and a LOT more closely. Even if in the end, it is not proven that explosives were not used, at least we've satisfied the curiosity about whether or not they were used. It more than deserves to be looked at, ESPECIALLY WTC building 7! All those first responders, eyewitnesses, all these degree-granted and licensed people can't be totally in the wrong.

Having viewed many videos about the subject it is my opinion that the buildings were pre-wired with explosive/demolition equipment in order to be able to remotely destroy these buildings in the event of a disaster. I believe that this was done to hide evidence of some kind, be it documents or simply just to justify a future action that would be approved solely based on the fact that these buildings were destroyed, such as an airplane being flown into one.
